Excellent place to enjoy outdoors with good beer and reasonable prices. Very kid friendly add theres a playscape and other activities for the kids. Food is three stars because it can be hit or miss depending on which trucks are open, but thats not under control of The Good Lot I dont believe.

Very cool place. Several food trucks, pretty good options for food. Line was a little long for beer orders. Only one person behind the bar, but he worked as fast as he could. Maybe help didnt show up? Beautiful and very large outdoor beer garden type place. Plenty of fans, misters, and shade trees made the hot weather tolerable. Above average beer selection. Definitely recommend.

We did not try any of the food trucks, but plan to in the future. The atmosphere was family friendly, dog friendly, and equipped with misters/fans which made the summer heat much more tolerable. Good selection of beers and free water available. We definitely will be going back!

The place is gorgeous, outdoor with a playground, lights, and misters to help keep bugs away. There are several food trucks with some options. I like the beef bulgogi. However, the parking lot is too small and you need to run across the busy street if you don t snag a spot, the service can be slow because there aren t enough food trucks for the place, and some of the food is mediocre. It s dog friendly and kid friendly, though, so makes for a nice evening outside.

Ate at Lazy Gs barbecue while here! It is a really cool atmosphere and definitely will be coming back again to try out the other food trucks! all beers are local Austin beers, which is super cool to be able to try. They have fans and misters so it doesn t feel hot at all and there is plenty of space even if it is busy!! Dogs are welcome on the leash!

Beer is excellent and atmosphere is great. Tried the BBQ meat and its just ok. The brisket was super tender but the ribs werent as good. There are 3 other options there so might be redeeming yet. Edit/reply: since the menus and all reference to food from The Good Lot is towards the food trucks, theyre reviews make sense to be up here as well unless there will be no reference whatsoever. Service is 4 for a couple of reasons its still self service. Staff is very nice and place is quite clean and laid back so atmosphere is good also. For me personally, to give 5* the experience has to be exceptional overall. Parking: Easy and plenty.

A great spot to hang out with friends or family in the evening. They offer a fantastic selection of beers, from IPAs to fruity options. The ambiance is perfect for Texas weather, and you can enjoy delicious food from the trucks parked just outside. The beer garden provides plenty of seating. Great place to kick back and enjoy a beer and some food from one of the several food vendors parked out front. Very family friendly with large outdoor patio/grass area and a play area. Nice breeze flows through the patio area. We started with the Sunday special -$5 mimosas they graduated to a couple of beers to compliment the Mediterranean Wraps we bought. The GM came to our picnic table and gave us recommendations, thanked us for coming from Round Rock as 1st time visitors and looks forward to us returning. Upon leaving the wonderful young lady who got our drinks and the GM both yelled see you soon. Great customer service. Kid-friendliness: Big grass and play area.

This is a great place to eat out under the shade trees. Its an enclosed space; there were some children running around and playing but believe it or not, they werent annoying. There are picnic tables for everyone and they were far enough from each other so we werent annoyed by any other conversations. The food from the food trucks was good! In the covered area, you could buy beer and they had a great assortment. This was an enjoyable evening out with friends.

Great place for most all purposes and tastes. The outdoor area is great if you have kids or just like sitting around a fire pit. The live music is pleasant and theyve got good clean facilities in the indoorish bar setting. Weve tried the 2 main food trucks - Fez Mediterranean I think and the BBQ joint and they were both great. Id recommend the wraps at the Fez, my wife loved her chicken wrap and I got the falafel... Amazing with the hibiscus tahin sauce! The BBQ place was great, the sandwiches are our go tos. Make sure you request the right kind of sauce, I love to smother mine with their traditional BBQ sauce that is similar to a Rudys sauce for consistency (I believe a little thicker) and similar flavor profile. The sandwich I got had a sauce that was good, but not what I was expecting or wanting for that kind of sandwich by itself, when I asked for more BBQ sauce. Parking: Loads of parking and street parking for when its packed. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair ramps and slight sloping pathways into the flat grassy/turf area.

I have a been regular customer for the past 3 years, bringing my little kids and dog (doodle) on many weekends. It saddens me to not want to return anymore after feeling unsafe for my kids. Having a 100+ pound Rottweiler stare at us for over 20min sitting less than 2 feet away and its owner relishing the fact that his dog was intimidating did not make for a fun or relaxing experience. Owner was enjoying a few extra beers with his friends (bros) while dog was behind him and outside his view. When I asked politely to position his dog in front of him he commanded the dog to keep staring. Management did little to nothing after I complained as they brushed it off quickly with a 10sec smiley exchange with the group of bros. We left and aren t coming back.

Amazing place to go enjoy a beer and let the kids have some fun running around. They have a spacious playground, a very good selection of beers and ciders. There s indoor seating available as well. They have many chairs outside but I believe you can bring yours also. It gets super packed on Fridays evenings and also Sunday afternoons. They do not sell food but there s several food trucks with a variety of options to choose from. My favorite is Fez, the chicken wrap is incredibly delicious. There s Mexican food, bbq and asian options too. During winter they have fire pits and during summer thought there s vents you know Texas summer, is like fire breathing from the sky.

I have been coming here multiple times a year since they opened years ago and its one of my all time FAVORITE places. Its so laid-back, is family friendly, and has a such a cool atmosphere. The food trucks are decent, especially the Venezuelan truck (*update* whoops apparently this one isnt here anymore, see owner response), but are a little pricey- which is unfortunately normal these day. The selection of draft beers, sours, and ciders is pretty good, and they have self-serve water cups and water/ice which is convenient. The staff is also friendly and accommodating, and seem like they actually want to be there, which is not a given at many places. During the winters they have a couple fire pits with seating + heated covered/partially enclosed patio, and during the summer they have misters and fans. The yard has turf (one of their best investments imo) as it makes for a great place even after a rain. Their little play area is nothing to write home about but unique and good enough to keep the kids busy, along with free reign of the mostly gated yard which is perfect for the kids to run around. They do have Cornhole and Giant Jenga as well, which are nice additions. With the events they have going on throughout the week such as live music, trivia, happy hour, celebrations, etc. its definitely a place for all ages and interests; we will continue to come here with family and friends during all seasons!

a lot of locals enjoy this place! we love open mic on wednesdays. i do not like that you cannot smoke on property or even outside as there are children around. i believe children should be left at home and not impeding on my god given right to smoke cigarettes at a bar outside. nice place. they have miller lite. food trucks outside. Killer spot for lunch or dinner. Super kid friendly. Dog friendly. Truck owners are aware of allergy needs. And the food is good. Dietary restrictions: We have a gluten allergy that two trucks handle perfectly. Kid-friendliness: Tons of open area for running around and a playground.

Tried the lazy bbq and it was the best!!! My fav was the trashy Mac and cheese! . The second was the banana pudding. Literally the best! Made me feel so nostalgic. I can t wait to try the rest. I m in love

Remember those embarrassing moments when they turn the tablet with the recommended tip amount towards you and you are never sure whether to choose the ridiculous 15%, crazy 25% or exorbitant 35%? Make sure you do not under-tip after having ordered some alcohol. If you add too little the bartender and the bartenderess will be trying to ignore you till the rest of their shifts. Thus place has only cool vibes. Great place to hangout with friends and families. Awesome food truck selection, yard games, and great beer choices. I definitely recommend this place. Excited to go back during an event! Vegetarian options: Most trucks have vegan options available. Theres Mediterranean, Korean, and Venezuelan choices.
