Bought a pound of sliced brisket today.. The brisket wasnt sliced.. Just chunks of brisket, which was mostly fatty.. No smoke ring or smoke flavor.. No bark or seasonings.. This is honestly some of the worst brisket I have ever bought.. I will never ever visit this place again.. Winners BBQ is definitely not a winner by a long shot...

The BBQ is usually delicious. This last order that we picked up was not as good. The ribs seemed old, as did the pulled pork, which us usually amazing. It seems that 1 out of 3 times, the BBQ is just average. The other two times its amazing. I thi k because Thursdays they sell what was left from the precious week. They are opened Thursday-Sunday.

I ordered 5lbs for a family function around Christmas time. The meat was seasoned & cooked well but I asked for Lean meat with little to no fat. I called to explain issue and the person I was spoke with was very unprofessional and had every excuse even after sending pictures. Dang. The Original owners sold the Plano location to the beauty supply folks who colonized the industry and I hate to say this location has succumbed to them too. Its a great experience all around! They catered our luncheon at the school and everything was amazing from the food to the service. Mr. Fraizer and his team did a great job with the delivery and setup for our luncheon. I have referred them to other Administrative Assistants in the district. Came in for 2 meat plate which comes with 2 sides and a drink. The food was really nasty. The two meats were old and hard. (Ribs and Brisket) They add a lot of seasoning to it to make it look good. Found this gem on a whim and babyyyy they did not disappoint! The staff were and welcoming! The restaurant was clean and well organized! Menu is to read and understand! But the FOOD!! OMG! I tried to place an online order and the site was down.I called to place a pick up the young lady who answered was rude and gave piss poor customer service.When I arrived for pick up I noticed they offered a lunch special, it was exactly what I ordered so I asked her to charge me for that. She refused at first and said it was for walk ins only (which the sign does not state) after I asked again she rung it up. Walking out the door I see she charged me for a side I didn t have. The young lady (Kendall)tried to tell me I could get a credit and not a refund I said no you will give me my money back. I haven t been here in 2 years and will not return. She never apologized for double charging me and never took accountability for her error.

Finally made it to Winners and for the most part they are a Winner. Items ordered, 3 meat potato w/chicken, brisket & sausage. 3 meat potato w/brisket, sausage & pulled pork. 1/2 slab of ribs & a large greens . All of the meats were great. I like the brisket with the sauce, but I like the pulled pork WITHOUT the sauce even more!!! A little too much sour cream for me, but no biggie. I would just order no sour cream next time. I would have liked to have some chives or onion or jalapeños. It would have made it that much more better. The ribs were ok. Nice smoke flavor and seasoned well, but they were a tad bit dry. I had an end piece that I would give them another try. The greens were good. To me, its just missing a pinch of salt OR cooked with the bone from the pulled pork. The cashier was nice. Since I just moved to this side of town, this would be my go to bbq spot for now. Keep up the good work.

Wow! The BBQ was amazing and the sides (Mac and cheese and baked beans) were perfect. What made it even better was the service. The lady at the front counter taking our order was super nice and helpful, the other lady who came by the check on us and make sure we are ok, and the chef stopping by our table checking in as well. It was my first and last time trying this BBQ. I didn t enjoy any portion of my rib and brisket meat plate I had potato salad and greens and my sister tried the baked beans. Overall i enjoyed my experience at Winners. Staff was friendly and courteous. BBQ was pretty good although I enjoyed the chopped beef the most. If you buy the lemonade and Kool-aid they charge $1.00 for refills so keep that in mind when you choose those options for drinks. If you dine in there is a good chance you and you clothes will smell like BBQ by the time you leave or that was my experience today. Definitely will go back I am in the area.

I FINALLY got to visit Winners in Cedar Hill after moving back to Desoto! LETS TALK ABOUT IT!!!! I originally visited the Plano location and ordered the Brisket Baked potato with their mac n cheese(you can see previous review from my visit at their Plano store) So I instantly had high expectations going to this location! I ordered my original, as you can see in the mac n cheese I already took a bite and had to hurry and snap pictures before tearing it up lol My aunt got the same thing as me w/extra butter/sour cr./cheese *.50ea extra Got my uncle a chopped beef, I forgot to ask him if he liked it, but he must have cause the sandwich and box it came in was gone lol Baby brother got a turkey leg...ALL THAT MEAT FELL OFF THE BONE! JUST TENDER, JUICY, AND SEASONED TOO WELL! SEASONED SO WELL, I went back that very same day and got me one... Just being greedy! Now, Im giving 5 stars for the service, and the food. Except the greens. The greens get a 3 from me. It was missing flavor. I tasted the smokiness from the Turkey meat, but I had to fix it up a bit. Other than that! I ordered a 2 meat plate with beans and potato salad, my 2 meats, chicken and ribs, when I got home to eat, the ribs were so hard and dry same as the chicken. The food was cold, it s like the food being sitting out for a long time. Customer service, the young lady that runs the front counter, she s not friendly at ALL, cut and dry. Will not eat there again. Went for family gathering. My food I got was a baked potatoes with ribs and beef. My was cooked so soft I could have made mashed potatoes out of it. My ribs were tasted like they where dropped on the charcoal then put back on the fire. Just wasnt happy with my food. They must have served me the last of the ribs from that rack. First time I tried the brisket here I think my mouth had an orgasm. Best brisket in the world, or so I thought. The 2nd time I went back for another brisket sandwich I wasnt impressed. Maybe the first time the meat was fresh from the smoker? I dont know what happened but the 2nd was not nearly as good. I will go back again and see what happens. I love brisket and have tried nearly all the BBQ spots around Dallas and Fort Worth. The first sandwich was a 10/10. The 2nd sandwich was a 6/10. The bbq sauce is also very good so that helps. I will update my review if needed once a visit a few more times.

I was there the day Omega Psi Phi seemed to be having a gathering. It was not my first visit. Usually it s a great 4 to 5 star experience. Anyway, on this day, the food & atmosphere were awesome. Absolutely Loved It! The meats and sides were well seasoned. I really loved the baked beans and pulled pork! It was all good! I worked for restaurants and my chef at NYLO Dallas told me if you dont see salt and pepper on the table, you know the food is seasoned right! And Winners reminded me of that! Owners of Winners BBQ were extremely cordial and personable. Food was extremely tasty. I got something called The GOAT I ll be eating on it for 3 days because it was so much food piled beautifully in a baked potato. Wow, scrumptious! Parking: Great spacious spots. Easy access!

This spot is amazing, definitely a staple if you in Dallas. I got the chopped beef, Mac & cheese. My friend got the ribs, greens, Mac & cheese and a piece of white bread. It was amazing, the music was right and it was my man Trel bday so definitely wanted to support. If you around the way you have to check this spot out. Hands down the best bbq I ve tasted in Dallas

The absolutely best banana pudding. I am normally not a huge fan, but this is not a mix and is made fresh by mom when you order, and is worth the trip. I would like to try their other deserts l. Smells like they use Mesquite wood for The meats. The portions arent huge, but the meats were all good and everything tasted great.

Let me just say the Bar B Q is good! The service is absolutely horrible!!! EVERYTIME we go!!!! The last time we went was on a Friday. There were no other patrons other than us. We came in and the young girl at the register seemed as if we were bothering her. She had another young lady who was assisting her who also seemed just as unconcerned. They lacked effort and basic customer service skills like upsell, politeness, responses to customer concerns!! At first we wondered why no other patrons were there when they got a bar but then . We found out!!! The STAFF got funky attitudes and they really don t care and don t want to be there AND it s written all over their faces!!!!!!!!

I ordered BBQ for my employees and I know I didnt order enough. The ribs, brisket, sausage and all the sides was delicious. I wished I could have taken a picture of the food, but my employees went in and it gone in less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend this place and I will strongly suggest this place to have our food catered from this place going forward.

I hate fat.. the rib had taste but tough, the brisket was also tough no flavor at all.. best thing I ate was the sauce.. and I spent 70 dollars on take out and gave a $10.00 tip before even trying it.. A month ago I went to this location, I hadnt been in a few years. I placed a large order that came out to $99 and some change. The young lady at the counter was not helpful at all and lacked basic customer service skills. When my order was ready, I opened the containers to check that it was right. Well, I immediately asked for a refund. The appearance of the brisket was enough to make my stomach churn. During the processing of my refund, the young lady informed me that this location is no affiliated with the one in Plano and that told me everything I needed to know. I wont be going back. If I could give negative stars I definitely would.

On both plates,the dark meat chicken was beyond dry. like it was cooked days ago and sat in the warmer. The ribs had no meat on them. maybe total 2 of the rib bones on the plates combined had some meat. they should be ashamed to send anyone plates that look like that. Came here on a Saturday & got a rib plate with double Mac & Cheese & this is what I got, some dry Mac & Cheese. I also got a chopped beef sandwich and the buns were little like biscuits, opposed to when I went on a Thursday morning the buns were nice & big. The food is good overall if you go on Thursdays as soon as they open because the rest of the week is downhill.
