My family loved this place. My kids commented that they wanted to be Venezuelans. We enjoyed the arepas and they loved the kids menu. The music is Latina, and the service very friendly. We will come back. Dietary restrictions: Steps are gluten free. So I enjoyed them good

My girlfriend surprised me that she wanted to go here & I am very grateful that she chose this place. I extremely highly recommend it for true % Venezuelan food. The prices were affordable, service was excellent, the positive aura entering the restaurant is what makes it feel very authentic. My experience was good food but at the time the bill would be 150 and they imposed a tip of more than 40 dollars 195 and since there were several of us each one paid that was our surprise and then when we went to pay they came out with another bill and separately It doesnt seem to me that the tip is so high. I think you know you have to leave a tip, but how can you think of 45 dollars and thats why I dont recommend it. We feel abused. Thats not the way. Came here to try the arepas. They were good. I really liked the flavor of the meat. Will come back and try them another time. When I went every table was full and each table had something different. The restaurant is small and narrow but it was clean. Even the bathroom. The waitress was friendly. Food came out after 10 minutes (for an order of 4 arepas). Maybe I had high expectations, I thought that tasting Venezuelan food would be a special experience. Definitely the ingredients are very common for me, but the menu offering is not exotic at all for my palate, most of the things I tried had a sweet flavor. My main dish was the patacón. I expected to receive this kind of sandwich mounted on two fried and flattened green patacones or perhaps a little ripe. What I received contained an overripe banana base filled with shredded chicken with little flavor, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise. On top is another banana base, with melted fresh cheese. I had previously consumed Venezuelan patacón in another restaurant. I remember that on that occasion, I was able to eat it in a kind of sandwich filled with grilled chicken and salad. But on this occasion, it was not possible to eat it like that. The dish turned out to be too cloying. Natural juices also contain a lot of sugar. I disliked this fact, because in the assortment of snacks, there were several sweet foods.

The real deal kinda place for true Venezuelan food. Small place, service just OK, but the food is really good and authentic. Empanadas are big but beware that sometimes they run out early on weekends. The Yuca Frita con nata is super crunchy and just delicious. They do have lunch specials fairly priced. If you like burnt cachapas this is the place . I ordered this one to take away and when I opened it I noticed this carbon. It seems absurd to me to serve something like that. We ordered delivery and were told it would be an hour. We waited and nothing. We couldnt reach our delivery person or the restaurant. We called, and they would hang up. We decided to finally just drive out ourselves, the restaurant is closed completely. Save your time and money. Hopefully this online system gives us a refund!!!

I traveled 50 minutes to eat at this place, the first bad experience was with the girl who served us. (My friends didnt want to eat there) only I ordered for Pena. They need people with more charisma. Maybe she had a bad day. 2nd. I couldnt eat 80% of the meat because it was leather (literally). I couldnt leave a photo of this. A bad comment does not mean that the restaurant is bad or its food. But my visit to the place was not satisfactory for me and my friends.
