Broth was fairly bland compared to other hot pot places we had gone to (we got the chicken and beef.) The meat was very thin cut but would have needed better broth for seasoning. They did have sauces available but none were noteworthy. Very nice atmosphere other than that they music was too loud for the number of people dining. Very clean and the food layout was nice for the extra ingredients.

Busy Saturday dinner time, but not too much long waiting. The meat was marinated very well, the service was super and they kept changing the grill tray for us the moment it became a bit too dry or burnt, which is a huge plus as it doesnt happen to many other KBBQ in our hometown (We travelled to Irving for work). We ordered galbi (pardon me for the spelling if my memory doesnt serve right), prime beef, and garlic pork belly which all are so good. 200% will come back the next time we visit Irving again. 200% Recommended for authentic KBBQ place!

Delicious options and fun experience I went with a group for lunch hour - the waiting area and entrance were nice, the tvs show lots of footage of the hotpot and bbq experience so it gets you hyped and hungry. There is a big selection for either experience, double if you go for both. The bar did need a little refresh imo but still good options. The menu of meat options was great - it was fun trying them all and you get a good amount of each imo. Service was friendly, however kind of too... direction giving if that makes sense. Im sure they just are very experienced and want to share such, but ours got the impression we didnt know what to do at all and got a bit pushy with advice and directing table service. Also while we understand the changing of the hot plates, it was a little awkward and hard process and I had a little hot oil spill on me. Would go back for sure and just hope for a less mentoring sort of experience.

We had dinner tonight for my birthday at the Carrollton location. The food is delicious!!! The service from Yoo Jin is amazing!! We love seeing her everytime we come. Large variety of meats, seafoods, veggies, sauces/condiments, and vegetarian options. Everything we tried was delicious! Told our waitress, Hyunmi, that it was our first time and she was so helpful without being judgy. She even offered to make us some sauce combos that are very popular and they were excellent! Vegetarian options: Tofu varieties, leafy greens, squash, mushroom varieties, noodle varieties, pickled options, herbs, veggie broth. Unlike the Manna Shabu in Lewisville, there are no tables that have both kbbq and hot pot. At this location, one room is hot pot, and the other side is kbbq. The atmosphere here is also different than the Lewisville location.

We had the best time at Manna Shabu! Ms. Yoo Jin was so wonderful, kind and attentive and the food was just amazing- the selection of vegetables, meats and hot pot additions were truly wonderful. I am gluten free and there was endless options with individual hot pots - this is super helpful for me! My daughter and I had lunch here today. I had never had shabu but I m a seasoned eater of Asian cuisines so I was definitely game. Shabu is boiling hot broth of your choosing with proteins, vegetables, aromatics, noodles, etc that you chose from a salad bar style serving center. Flavorings such as garlic, cilantro, chilis, green onions, soy, fish sauce, etc are served from a separate serving area. Then you return to your table and place all the things in your hot broth where they cook. Each space at your table has a recessed warming receptacle in the table that has its own controls. You are supplied with spoons, forks and chopsticks and plenty of napkins and large glasses of ice water. I was blown away by the whole experience. Manna Shabu advertises itself as all you can eat and it s true you can eat as much as you want, but you are encouraged to eat what you order and not leave waste. The food is fresh, the servers are attentive and friendly. The cost is appropriate given the all you can eat portions. I will return often. Next time with my husband. Thank you for a wonderful and fun dining experience.

Very rude servers. They are all you can order and eat style but everytime I order they act like they are annoyed. Every lil things like spoon chopstick napkins you gotta ask them for it, and they give you attitude for it. We went as a group of 7 and they shove us into a lil table for 4, and we had kids too. Bunch of ppl had to stand around waiting to be seated while there many tables open. First time dining here. We went late afternoon around 3pm. Atmosphere- ok a lot of TVs, music was playing, restaurant was clean. Seating consisted of mainly booths. Service- after my friends arrived a waitress arrived to take our order. Given this was hot pot style dinning I would have expected an explanation of how they do things or at least asked if we have been there before but she did not. We made our order and proceeded to get our fixings for our soup from the buffet. Our waitress then went on break or went home and no one was even looking in our direction. After a minimum of twenty minutes we finally flagged someone down. My friend didnt like the seafood broth and wanted to switch. We were advised there was a $5 charge to do so despite this being an all you can eat dinner. There was also a note on the menu advising you will be charged full price for any meat not eaten. My friend chose to just keep her soup. At this time our drinks still hadnt been refilled and we had to ask for a manager to complain about the service. We were advised that they were not there but would be there in about 30mins. We said we wanted to speak to them about the poor service when they got in. Well they stepped up the service enough to get dirty plates out of the way and refill drinks. They even swapped out the broth for us. Ok things are looking up and then my friend found a small bug on some veggies she had just put in her soup. Called the waitress to let her know. She said sorry and left. Did not even offer to get her a fresh bowl of broth. We were pretty much done at this point. And no manager ever came by. Another thing that proved problematic was the booths. There were 4 of us so the person on the inside had to keep asking to be let out to visit the buffet. Not a great setup when people will be getting up frequently. There wasnt much room between the table and the booth. It was very uncomfortable being forced to sit at a hard 90° angle throughout the meal because the table was so close. And no I am not a large person. Food- it was not bad. I felt they had a nice selection of meat and additional items to add to your hot pot. The broth however wasnt very flavorful. You really had to work to use all the available sauces to get a good flavor. Ive been to other places where the broth was well seasoned already. Overall I wouldnt recommend this place, too many issues.

I have been here before, and brought 2 friends for the first time. We decided we never want to return. The service was horrible our table was ignored until I asked for a manager. We had to flag down someone and explain the table hadnt been cleared, and we had not received refills of drinks or meat. After the complaint service picked up, but then I found a bug on the bok choy in my soup. The server confirmed it was a bug and took it away without offering to replace my soup base or any other recompense. With hot pot places all over the place there is no need for me to put up with horrible service and bugs in the veggies.

We had a disappointing experience at Manna Shabu. Unaware of the 2-hour time limit for all-you-can-eat, we were unexpectedly asked to leave after 2 hours. When trying to get some fruit after 2 hours and 20 minutes, the server was incredibly rude, stating we couldnt have any food as we exceeded the time limit. Despite just two tables being occupied, the service lacked customer-friendly behavior. Regrettably, we tipped generously, but the rudeness left a lasting negative impression. We wont be returning.

Left a tip well above 10% according to my bill and the server continued pestering for more. I think people forget that tips are optional not mandatory. Completely ruined my experience will not come back again. I recommend everyone else to look for a different location as well. They clearly only care about their wallets and not their customers. Service and Atmosphere was fantastic, food was pretty good but not more notable then any other hotpot place. $29 per person is a bit expensive but you get what you pay for, 18% gratuity added for 6+ is a bit excessive though. One bad thing is that the soup becomes really salty after about 30 minutes for some reason. Would recommend trying out for a celebratory night.

Solo hot pot dishes goes so hard during the winter. Not to say Im picky but that we are all just doing our own thing together. I love the self serve hot pot items and the sauce bar. The button to get someones attention is so useful and we were definitely putting our orders in. Everything was super yum for a hot pot place and it hit the craving. Manna shabu is my number 1 for hot pot. Parking: Theres parking on the side and the back of the building.

Ive never written a review before, but I made an account just so I could comment on this restaurant. This place was AMAZING. I just moved to the Dallas area a couple of months ago and was looking for a good hot pot place. And may I say, this place exceed my expectations. Not only in the food, but the service was incredible. I had 2 children who were extremely loud and rowdy but the servers were super patient and kind with them and even played along. As a father, nothing makes me happier than seeing my children have fun while we are out. Incredible service, definitely coming back again.

This place is the BEST! Price wise and food option wise, this is an excellent location for Hot Pot. I come here RELIGIOUSLY Weekly meet ups with the friends, we cannot get ENOUGH of this place! Great location as well, so after hotpot (with a free ice cream at the end of your meal), you can enjoy the restaurants in the area. We are loyal customers and highly recommend Manna Shabu

Young waitress had an attitude; my friend never got a refill; the other waitress didn t like where my daughter had her baby set up; actually several bad things contributed to an altogether negative experience. This experience at this hot pot was dreadful. it was my brothers birthday today and we wanted to surprise him with a hot pot, even on google maps it says it s open until ten they kicked us out as soon as we arrived and told us to go across the street that was open until midnight. we mentioned at the front desk it was his birthday they just asked how old he was and said he can t eat for cheap not even free just for a small price of 15.99 the food did not live up to the service whatsoever. I am very displeased with what has happened and how it went !!! They missed so many basic necessities for basic customer service or giving you what you paid for, it was 8:20PM when the first manna said we re closed no more people allowed and like walking us out the door being super impatient, even at the second one we went it, they were super impatient and being our first time here they didn t care to explain anything even though we were obviously new to this, Trash.

Very disappointed!!! Service was very rude. Kids! Babies are not welcome here! If you go for 6 people and 2 babies. They would give you the table for 6 and ask the kids to sit on the side or parents lap. They don t even care about child safety while their business is all hot food. When I asked to leave, they threw pen and receipt to my face. I don t know how this business is survived with those people

Come here on a sat night at 8:37. Waiting for table 10mins. Got seat to the table at 8:50. We only order 2 round of meat and the waitress come and said this is the last round to order meat at 9:15. I was like excuse me, we only seat for 25mins and had 2 round of meats. They only come serve us the at first when we order the broth, the 2nd time i have to ring the bell twice to order meat. Spending 30$ and have to rush eating within 45mins, only have total 3 round meat order. even on the door said Sat Close at 10:30pm. prefer Vocalno Hot pot. long wait waiting but much better.

If you looking for the buffet bbq and read the review, please go elsewhere. I dont recommend this one for the price as well as service. As mentioned in many reviews here, the service is horrible and they took forever for you 3 or 4 round of meat. I just got my seat at 8PM and they close at 10pm, they did not take any order yet and keep repeating in front of me that they have 2 hours limit. I went to many buffet places and this is the first time happened with their cheapest mind

I have no idea why this place doesn t have 5 stars. Literally everything we got was freakin delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive. The price is unbeatable (especially coming from dallas). I ve got as part of a work dinner and it was amazing, and I went back with my boyfriend and it was amazing yet again! The only thing is I could ve sworn they were open later.
