i ve never ever gotten into a car accident ever in my life and I didn t know what to do. My dear friend referred me to this law firm and I m so happy that she did. My son was involved in a hit and run and the person who hit his car sped off. Then fraudulently reported the accident to her insurance and was paid. She planned to move on with her life as though nothing happened. Hartley Law was able to find her from a video my son took of the incident, and bring her to court. The damages were settled by her insurance and my son was paid for his car and injuries. Thank you Hartley Law for your tenacity to get to the truth!

I can not say enough about the Hartley Law firm. Its bad enough being in a tragic accident but having to deal with attorneys and legal issues is exhaustion to say the least. I even told Mr. Hartley how I felt about attorneys when we first talked. He assured me he would change my mind about how I felt. Well Mr. Hartley sure did that and then some with their outstanding service. My case was about to go into litigation and he took on my case from another attorney that did not handle this. They are very caring and compassionate in regard to your injuries and that your well being is taken care of completely. The physical therapy and chiropractor were top notch. Best Ive had ever. I felt sooo much better thanks to them!! I was still having issue even though I had just completed physical therapy at another facility from the doctor referral on my recent shoulder surgery. Which I had to have due to the accident. Thank you so much for sending me to such awesome people!! Mr. Hartley and his team kept me informed with every step in the case and my care. No one wants to be involved in a car accident, and its even worse when you have to deal with shady attorneys who arent genuinely looking out for your best interest. However, Austin and his team are the best at what they do! During my first conversation with Austin, I realized that he and his team cared about my well-being. He advised me to go through physical therapy and not rush for a settlement. My case was complex because the cars owner claimed it was stolen. Most attorneys would have dropped the case after that, but not this law firm. They continued to fight until there was a settlement. I highly recommend this law firm for their hard work and honesty.

An inebriated woman rear-ended my car, a year ago, which eventually caused me to resign from my job (and withdraw from law school) due to exacerbation of pain from preexisting-health conditions. Subsequently, I went to a firm, who passed on my claim; however, they referred me to Austin Hartley; thank God, he took my case. After one week of Mr. Hartley representing me, though, I decided that we were not a good fit, and I sent him a termination letter severing our lawyer-client relationship because he adamantly tried to persuade me from seeing the providers that I wanted to see. But, boy was I wrong; I will get back to this later, telling you why. Unfortunately, we live in a country that still discriminate against people if they don t belong to the generalized other or majority group. And, as a black man, I ve had my fair share of unlawful and immoral discrimination based on the color of my skin. So this brings me back to why I was wrong about Mr. Hartley. First, I thought he was not going to represent me like he would someone, who look like him. Why? Because I falsely and ignorantly interpreted, from his tone of voice, that he did not like me, that I was just a paycheck, and that he was not solicitous about my wants and needs; and, that he was talking down to me as opposed to talking to me (assuming I didn t know things like the Egg-Shell-Skull Rule). After sending Mr. Hartley a letter canceling our agreement, he called me back and explicated why he didn t want me to see, whom I wanted to see. To make it simple, Mr. Hartley stated that he never worked with these providers before, and when it was time for negotiation, he wanted to make sure he got all the money he could get for me. But he still acquiesced; and, stated that if I wanted to see my own provider that I could because he worked for me. However, I begin to trust him, and I also acquiesced and went to see, whom he wanted me to see. Fast forwarding, not only did Mr. Hartley s law firm avoid going to court, he made both insurance companies settle for the max amount that they could under their policy limits. Not stopping there, he also negotiated all of my providers bills way below what they normally would have taken. Indeed, I realized that my attorney didn t have to be aggressive when negotiating my medical bills because he was going to get his cut straight off the top regardless . However, he was absolutely right, and I was absolutely wrong, especially for prejudging him. Mr. Harley represented me in an unbiased and very professional manner, and because of him I can now take care of my children and take trips around the world. Thank you, sir! -John

Had a great experience with Mr. Hartley, first time we met he explained the whole process throughly as to how my car accident was gonna get resolved and got my sister and I to go get checked out and it turned out that we actually needed medical help. I was referred to Austin and honestly didnt really know what to expect. I dont leave many reviews, but felt that I needed to share my experience. From my initial in-person consultation, I was able to determine pretty quickly that the representation and guidance that I would recieve would be outstanding, honest, open, and timely. I cannot thank Austin and his team (thanks Sara!) enough! We are still finalizing details, but thus far working with the Hartley Law Firm has been great. I was in a really bad car wreck where the other party s insurance accepted fault quickly. Because I was injured so badly, I needed extensive treatment. The longer the treatments went, the more difficult it was to work with the insurance company. Austin came in and made me feel really confident and supported in getting the treatment that I needed. I never needed to talk with the insurance company again he made everything very simple. I got the procedures that I needed and the physical therapy as well. Austin was able to settle with the insurance company and get my medical needs met. The communication was great he and Sara were there every step of the way. They were diligent, quick and efficient and helped guide me through the process even during this COVID time. As things settle I ll add to the review but so far 5+ stars!

I shopped around a bit before settling on Austin and in retrospect it was the far the best decision . He did an excellent job and made sure I was taken care of. Hospital bills were a major concern for me and he successfully negotiated my bills down to a level that substantially exceeded my expectations. I was more than happy with my settlement as well. Austin and his assistant Sara have been wonderful throughout over 2+ year process with suing my contractor. He did not start out as my attorney I actually signed up for my legal benefits when enrollment opened and found him. He is professional, no nonsense and direct which is great for me. He also does not nickel and dime you for every call and email you have with him. Also I like that when it comes to making decisions about my case we talk strategy pros and cons. My family and I were involved in a horrific accident in 2017 that could have ended much worse. We were hit by a red light runner to busy on her phone to care about those around her. My mother in law was in a very bad car wreck. Her leg was shattered as well as a small host of other issues. When we were advised at the hospital that there would be multiple serious surgeries involved, we knew we needed legal representation. First we tried calling 800-lawyers (Frankel Firm) like you hear on the radio everywhere. At first they were nice, but when they sent someone out to see us it was a CPA who could not answer any questions and informed us that if we wanted any questions answered we would have to sign the paperwork granting them the case. Who signs a contract before details are given? When we refused, we were directed to a case manager who would never answer the phone or call us back. The parting gift from the CPA was a snicker and literally saying youll be back. ...Well, no we wouldnt be. Instead after searching we found the Harley Law Firm with several positive reviews. I called the office after hours on a Friday and left a message. Much to my surprise my call was returned that night by Austin himself. He was out on a vacation with family across the country, but still took the time to talk to me and arranged to meet as soon as he was back in town the following Monday. Come Monday he was prompt, courteous, and informative. He went out of his way to make sure we were provided a personal touch, and fully informed with all our questions answered before any paperwork was even mentioned. Fast forward and he has constantly kept us in the loop with the status of negotiating with the auto insurance companies, including speaking directly with my mother in law often. As a person in constant serious pain her mood is delicate to say the least, but he was always pleasant and respectful, and never complained about how curt or frustrated she could be about other issues and then directing some of that at him. When the medical insurance companies found out that a settlement was being reached, of course they were the first to reach out a hand for their share. Of course they felt that their share was 100% initially, never mind the pain, suffering, and personal expense my mother in law was going through. The process is called subrogation, which was completely unfamiliar to me, but Austin had been explaining things the entire time. After a fair amount of work sending them stacks of documentation, and multiple negotiations Austin was able to back them off of taking everything, and got things to settle in a more fairly agreeable term. The entire experience with Austin has been positive, and with the level of nightmare involved with all the other aspects hes been a ray of sunshine, and a blessing that cant be overstated. I would fully recommend his services to anyone, and while hopefully I never need to see him again, Ill at least know Ill be cared for if the need ever arises again.
