I grew up in Carrollton only a few minutes away from historic downtown Carrollton. I absolutely adore the development going on in this area. We now live in Carrollton raising our own kids and I love that they are doing multiple annual events a year. We go to the switchyard festival every year and it s so family friendly with fun things for all ages. We also very much enjoyed the Halloween trick or treat event this year! We are regulars at 3 nations brewery and love to come and see all the excitement around the new development here. So excited to see what continues to develop and what new things are to come for this area!

Get better staff if you want to keep this square alive. The middle aged balding dude with no life, no people skills, and absolutely ZERO customer service skills should not be running events. Kevin/ brad needs some better customer service skills if he wants to remain in the public. Never before in my life have I ever met someone so rude (date is 11/20/2021 at 5:45pm)

Super excited to explore this area more. Moving here soon to one of the new apartments near by. Seems to be a craft store, restaurants a local bar and ice cream shop plus a nice town square with a small park. Also several unique gift or specialty shops. Great little area to walk to for something different then the tireless downtown Dallas zone.

A nice cute mini town I would say with an open square space where you can take photos and sit down. Around it you have an antique store, a records store. An old school theatre, a few boutique stores and eating areas. Fun area to explore and get away from the big skyscrapers and wide roads.

Historic downtown Carrollton is always a very nice place to hang out. They do so much to get people out there, from the chocolate walk to the festival at the switchyard, they put a lot of work into making this a nice place to visit and the coffee shops, restaurants, wine bar and candy shop are all very pleasant.

A nice comfortable and compact Town Square with an entertainment gazebo in the center. A comfortable place to spend the afternoon having lunch and then sitting out in the middle of the square uncomfortable benches and chairs next to the water fountains. Be sure to visit the various shops in Antique Mall.

Made a special trip to check out rock & mineral shop and candy store located in the center of town. At first was concerned about finding parking because of Easter pagent but given time of time of day it was winding down so found great spot immediately. The area was clean and well maintained. Appeared to have an interesting assortment of shops and eating establishments. Highly recommend both stores that I visited. Great customer service, friendly.folks with lots of product knowlefge and of courese lots to see especial collection of fossils and gem stones in rock & mineral store. Very reasonable prices if in the market for this types of things.

A very small but very cozy historical center of the Dallas suburb, the town of Carrollton. You can walk around in 15 minutes. There is free public parking a little further away. Among the attractions, I would like to mention the antique shop, which was very interesting to explore thanks to the HUGE number of old things for sale. During your walk, you can enjoy old style delicious ice cream and look into a sweet shop that is popular not only throughout the city, but throughout the entire district. We enjoyed spending a couple of hours there!
