Born and raised in Miami...this is the place to go for Cuban food in Texas. Food was great, as usual, with a nice ending of Flan with a lit candle from the restaurant. The service was great! Food was so yum! Thanks for a great day!

Maybe I went on an off day. Ive had a Cuban sandwich before. The Cuban sandwich here tasted off. Not just the sauce, but the meat itself was stale. I was thankful that they replaced it for me with the chicken sandwich at no charge. That was a little better!

The first Cuban restaurant we tried after moving to the Fort Worth area. I have to say this is the best Cuban food I have tried so far in Texas. Even when we go out of state and try Cuban food is not as good. My husband will be like the Caribbean cafe is better. My husband loves the food here.

I personally suggest: pork fricassee, stuffed potato, yuca balls with cheese, yuca with mojo, the delicious congrís, pork steak with onion, picadillo, fried ripe plantains, flan and the Cuban coffee that should not be missed!!! The service is excellent and so is the atmosphere.

Very horrible I went there to purchase 3 Cuban tortas to go by the time I got home on my 11 min away from home as I opened the box to eat I noticed a sour smell , as I figured its maybe the sauce or chilli but unfortunately it was the pork that was overdue.... had a shimmy texture, smells like an old lemon and was very rubbery.... even the bread seem old and mayonnaise was dark brown yellow...I emmediatly threw it all away as the second to go box had a stronger smell ... very disappointed if your buying to go or dinning in I strongly suggest to check your food of any kind to make sure its fresh and not old or probably from the dsy before very glad I did otherwise I will be in great stomach paid food poisoning.

We went to eat today, it was my first time and the last time they had told me that the place was excellent. We ordered the food and for a plate of fried yucca the waitress made a fuss and started fighting with us. Firstly, she didnt take notes of the order and came back to ask again what we wanted. He practically started arguing when we just wanted to eat. In the end the host ended up canceling the lunch and we only paid for the entrance fee. But I dont understand something so simple that bothered the waitress so much. In the end she told us that she has been working there for 6 years which is not completely irrelevant and demonstrates a poor service culture. I dont understand why he got so upset. Completely terrible service was my first time and the last.

I placed an order to go on the phone. She took my order, said it would be 30 minutes, and then hung up. When my husband arrived to pick up the food, the lady said they didn t make it because she didn t have a name for the order. I would have happily given her my name had she asked! Then, my husband had to wait longer for our order. When we started eating it, the sandwich was very bland. No taste at all! It was mainly bread. I had to add my own pickles. We are extremely disappointed because we recently had two people recommend this place. I am hoping this was an off day. Regardless, we will not be returning or encouraging others to try it.

Although I don t have photos of the appetizers, it s probably some of our favorite things to eat here. My family ate them before I could snap a photo! We usually get fried yucca and fried plantain chips. They re great! This is authentic Cuban food. I usually get the Enchilada pescado (fish is red sauce) dish and it s great! I took some photos of the other dishes my family had for their main meal. We love this place and eat there at least once a month. Also be warned, if you order coffee, Cuban coffee is very different from what you may be use to. It tends to be served very sweet. That aside I highly recommend this place.

07/27/2023 I was craving a Cuban sandwich terribly. I found this place on Google Maps that had good reviews. The restaurant was clean and the server attentive. The $11.99 sandwich with fries was terrible though. No flavor and very bland. No mustard either. The pork was flavorless greyish meat. No sazon, complete seasoning or adobe really??? Putting salt on the sandwich did not help! The bread wasnt grilled until crispy either. Very disappointed.

This place gets an extra star because of their authenticity! If you are looking for an authentic taste of Cuba, come to Caribbean Cuba! My husband and I are from South Florida, where Cuban cuisine is a mainstay. We have been looking for Cuban flavor since we moved here. Today, we struck GOLD. I had the pollo a la plancha with black beans, rice, and maduros, drizzled with fresh squeezed lime. The savory marinade of the chicken paired with the sweet char or the Mmaduro and the tart acid of the lime created a Fiesta in my mouth! I simply couldnt stop lifting the fork! I had the lunch portion, but it was large enough that I needed a Togo box. My husband had the Bistec de Palomilla at the suggestion of our waitress, Yilena. We spent the meal trying to decide whose plate was better (mine of course!). But his plate was delicious also. We also tried the Yuca cheese bites, since we had never had anything like these, and we are glad we did! This unusual appetizer featured a layer of fried yuca with a creamy, melted cheese center. We will definitely have these again when we come back with our kids. This place gets my vote over and over. I cannot wait to go back! It is a hole in the wall wonder!

The menu offered a wide range of traditional Cuban dishes, and I was excited to try as much as I could. I ordered the Fricase de Puerco, a pork-based dish that was packed with flavor and perfectly seasoned. The pork was tender and juicy, and the sauce was smooth and delicious. The sauce had a rich, savory flavor which complemented the pork. The ingredients used in every dish were fresh and high-quality, and it was evident that the chefs had put a lot of care and attention into preparing each dish. The service was also top-notch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, and were happy to make recommendations and answer any questions that I had. Overall, I highly recommend Caribbean Cuba restaurant to anyone who is looking for a unique and delicious dining experience. Whether youre a fan of Cuban cuisine or just looking to try something new, you wont be disappointed by the flavorful and authentic dishes at this restaurant. My husband and I stumbled on this place and were instantly smitten. We had the Fricase de Pollo and Masas de Puerco Fritas. Everything was bursting with flavor and the atmosphere was pleasant and homely. We noticed more people coming in for takeaway than were dining in, reflecting how popular this place is so I wouldnt judge it by the open parking lot. This was a fantastic find!

Stopped in on a whim and glad we did! The Cuban sandwich was terrific and the coffee (Cafe con Leche) will not disappoint. Very friendly staff and such a quaint spot in Carrollton to enjoy a Sunday with friends or family.

Me & wife decided to give this restaurant a try. We walked in and were promptly seated. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and welcoming. The atmosphere was cozy and the decor was fitting for the cuban experience. Our food was very tasty & well seasoned. But, a little on the cold side. However, with the menu being very broad, I will definitely be back to try more dishes.

I went for lunch and had the picadillo. When the food arrived it was lukewarm at best, really it was cold. The service was great but the food left a lot to be desired.

I cannot believe this. Four of us walk in and stand at the door. One server is chatting away with a customer about his daughter and waved at us to come in so we sat down. the other server is sitting back in her red shirt texting away on her phone and another server was standing at the computer I want to guess doing her job but went into the kitchen. So we sat and the server whos continued to chat away with the customer who saw us sit down didnt even bother to tell the other one busy on her phone that we are there. I had to get up and ask to get service and than the server with the red shirt on her phone told me I had to wait at the door to be seated and I told her we waited at the door she said the table we sat at was for 6 people. We got up and left. She asked what happened and its I told her we was not staying and we was going to CUBA BELLA CAFE EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE AND THE FOOD WAS AMAZING I GIVE THEM **********.

The most authentic Cuban food you will find in DFW. When they do have guava and cheese pastries, highly recommend it.
