I can t begin to describe how gorgeous of a venue this is - every inch is just stunning. They have several different outdoor and indoor ceremony locations, the staff is amazing and helpful throughout the planning process, and they give the newlyweds the opportunity to stay overnight at the Mansion after the wedding! My husband and I feel so blessed to have been married at this incredible venue. We had an 11 month engagement during which we could visit as much as we wanted to help with our planning. The staff members were always so kind and accommodating. Our only complaint was that after we gave our final headcount and payment to the in-house caterer, five guests had to cancel last minute, so we brought several to-go boxes in order to take those meals home that we had already paid for. The kitchen staff however told my parents that no extra meals were available, so we lost about $250 ($50 per meal) with nothing to show for it. To any future clients I would recommend contacting the catering staff early on wedding day to tell them you want to take extra meals home, in order to avoid the same issue. My mom and coordinator also had to rearrange some tables and chairs in the reception space on wedding day because what they had set up didn t match my floor plan - a minor issue and just something to be mindful of. Overall, I would book Lone Star Mansion again in a heartbeat. It was our dream wedding at our dream location!

This place is unorganized and everyone working there is never on the same page! I have been working on my wedding for almost 2 years and every time I talked to someone working here they always changed or didn t know what my plan was for my wedding day was. One of the lady s told me a day before my wedding that I was allowed to have 70 guests instead 60 which to me was a big deal. Also the day of my wedding the alter and mansion was soooo hot!! I asked them 3 times to turn the AC on and it never got better. My family felt more cooler outside in August than inside the chapel and house. I do not recommend this place!!! Also they do not do refunds on down payment or any payments after!!!!! Horrible experience

This is a long over due review that has been in the back of my mind and finally getting around to writing it! My husband Christian and I, got married at the Lone Star Mansion March of 2023. We had a positive experience from beginning to end. The staff were friendly and attentive. The venue was an absolute dream and couldn t have picked a better place. Our family and friends still talk about the wedding and the venue to this day! If you re on the hunt for finding your dream venue, I highly recommend checking out Lone Star Mansion.

My experience with Lone Star Mansion was nothing short of wonderful! I work for a production company and we booked the Lone Star Mansion as a venue to film several interviews and character broll for a documentary-form TV show. The location is stunning and versatile. We ended up extending our time here to film even MORE than we had originally planned! Fabiola and her entire team were an absolute delight to work with. They were kind, quick to respond, and went out of their way to be helpful during our time on site.

I organized our University banquet here in March and it was a huge success! The venue accommodated all of our guests and the Lone Star team worked hard to make sure that our vision was executed. We had our wedding here in October of 2023 and the experience was nothing short of stellar and absolutely perfect. From the first time we set foot on the property to the day of our wedding, we were taken care of and prioritized by Fabiola and her team throughout the entire process. Their team went above and beyond in every way, shape, and form to ensure we had the day we envisioned and took care of all the details we discussed and treated it as if it was their own wedding they were planning and hosting. The property itself is in immaculate condition and the staff was friendly and accommodating the entire time. Food and service was excellent and all of the recommended vendors suggested by the venue were top notch as well. Professional, easy to work with, and truly wanted to make it the best all around experience possible. We were extremely fortunate to have found the Lone Star Mansion and Fabiola to have our wedding with and could not be more grateful for everything they did to make our day unforgettable. Just a short drive outside of Fort Worth, highly recommend working with this venue if you are looking to make your day stress-free, beautiful, and ultimately a memory you can look back on with the utmost joy and delight!

The grounds and building are fine. The A/C is non-existant. Its been 100 degrees in Texas for weeks. Imagine a venue full of guests, dressed to attend a wedding. The audio in the vaulted room that served as a chapel was unintelligible. Garbled. I have no idea how it was micd but it needs to be overhauled. The reception staffing looked adequate, the numbers of bodies appeared to be there, but somehow couldnt manage to keep one water dispenser and one iced tea dispenser filled. That was the only station I saw for all the attendees. Finding a clean glass to fill was a challenge as well. Also realize this old house while on a hilltop, is now ingressed through a residential neighborhood. Its not a sraight shot, your guest will need gps or good directions to wind their way to the gate for the venue. Youll need to decide if thats the initial experience you want for your guests, to your event. In my view, do your best negotiating, and have someone that can enforce it, in real time.

Manager representing venue at July 29th wedding tried to tell the photographers and videographers to eat on the floor because the bride and groom had not gotten a table with them in mind and then berated them when they took unused chairs from tables after she told them she would get them chairs eventually, barely apologized.

My husband and I had our Cocktail Hour and Reception at Lone Star Mansion. (Our ceremony was at the Catholic Church). We worked with Lone Star Mansion for over a year and a half. Fabiola was amazing from the start! We also hired her to be our Day-of-Coordinator. Communication was always great. Day of we were able to get ready at Lone Star Mansion. Included was an upstairs area for women and a downstairs man cave for men. My husband and I also were able to spend our Wedding Night upstairs in the main house. This was the Wedding of our dreams. There was a small miss communication about where the cake was served, but Fabiola & Keesha were quick to get if fixed. Using their private chef made food serving wonderful. With 200+ people all food was served within 5-10 minutes. They were great to check on bridal party, family, and all guest. They also were accommodating for grandparents that need transportation between buildings. Thank you Lone Star Mansion for making our Wedding Dreams come true!

The old nasion just cannot accommodate more than 50 guests comfortably, if the Texas heat encourages guests to remain inside. Dont asks guest with suits on, and makeup, and panty hose, to wait outside in the Texas heat!! Just not enough room indoors, so no other option than to SWEAT in the HEAT. YUCK!

we chose to have my daughters wedding at the Lonestar Mansion the minute we saw the facility. we had looked at a number of other venues but none had the class, exclusive privacy, or magnificently manicured grounds and gardens. We couldnt believe we had the whole place to ourselves. From the Groomsmens man cave in the lower level with showers, sauna, steam room, pool table, bar and full sized card table...to the upstairs ready room for bridesmaids, to the bridal suite... it was all perfect. A separate large room for the ceremony ( outstanding acoustics) fit everybody, a pool area for cocktails and another large room for the reception, DJ, photo booth, dinner accommodations & dancing - couldnt have asked for more. Food was excellent, as was the service. Our wedding planner, Keesha (ever present throughout the whole event) worked tirelessly to make sure everything ran smoothly and our every wish was taken care of.. Thank you Keesha for all your effort to make our wedding a success before, during and after the event. Youre terrific. I have nothing to complain about or be critical of..Couldnt have wished for it to go any better. Thank you Lonestar Mansion for a great experience.

I recently attended my sisters wedding at this venue and it is absolutely gorgeous!! Everything was beautifully coordinated and the staff was super attentive to all of us as guests and not to mention to the bride. My husband and I got married at this venue on April 20, 2023. I have had my eye on this venue since my old friend got married there a few years ago. It is just so beautiful. He and I went a year in advance to book it and it has been great since then. We did the Bridal package which Im so happy we did, and hiring their day of coordinator was also something that helped ease the whole planning process. Hiring them as a cater was the best decision we made as well. The planning processes and the day of went so smoothly. Constantly reassuring me. Keesha (the coordinator) checked on me multiple times and took care of everything. Not once did I have to worry about any of the venders that came to help piece the place together. The whole staff also checked on us, pretty much. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. The food was SOOOOO good. All of my guests really enjoyed it. Our daughters wedding was in November. The beauty and magic of this venue come from the architecture, the grounds, and the invited guests who help you celebrate. BUT that s where it stops - During the initial tour, they treated us like we were valued customers. All of that changed after signing the contract and paying the deposit. The staff called and texted several times to ask the same questions that had previously been answered multiple times. We booked the venue exactly 12 weeks before the wedding date, so the planning phase was short and they still couldn t keep our file organized. They generally seemed uninterested and unprofessional. - Also during the initial tour, the carriage house was set up for an event, and we were told that everything was included with the package price. However, during the planning meeting (which Fabiola was 30 minutes late for), the candle holder centerpieces were all of a sudden $25 per centerpiece to rent. The signed contract never stated anything about rentals, and there was not an itemized rental pricing sheet in the contract or in any of the follow-on correspondence. The cross in the ballroom/chapel was also a major item shown in the all-inclusive tour and was the deciding factor for our daughter when she chose this venue. The cross was not set up at the rehearsal the day before the wedding, and when we asked about it, we were met with rude remarks and informed that it is a rental item. Also, one of the employees, Keesha, was unprofessional during our rehearsal and was also rude to several guests on the day of the wedding. - We paid for meals for 131 guests. At the last moment, 39 people were unable to attend due to illnesses and other various reasons. This was $1483.05 (before the added tax and service charges) worth of food that we paid for and were not given the opportunity to donate to a homeless shelter or give away at our discretion. During dinner service, multiple guests overheard the service staff say they were taking all of our extra food home with them. This is absolutely unbelievable! - After the cake cutting, the staff took the cake to the kitchen for cutting and guest service. Upon returning from the sparkler send-off at 10:00, both wedding cakes as well as the hand-painted cookie favors were nowhere to be found. I assume the staff took those home as well. We came inside with almost two hours to spare before we had to be out of the venue to try the other cake flavors that we did not get a chance to try earlier. All of the cake was gone! The two employees in the kitchen conveniently had no idea what happened to it. - Most of our guests complained that the staff continuously removed food and drink items from the tables, even if they were mostly full. Guests had to make several unnecessary trips to get more drinks. Service was terrible! - The contract states that a uniformed sheriff s deputy is required to be on the grounds for security. There was no security officer at this event, which is required because alcohol was being served. - The planning sheet for the bridal resort package stated that a breakfast menu would be provided for the morning breakfast. No menu was ever provided, and the bride and groom were served plain bagels and a side of fruit. - For the bridal resort package where the couple stays the night, one employee remains on the grounds for the night for safety reasons understandable if theres a separate space for the person to stay. But this man was out in the hall and spent the night in the room directly across from the bridal resort bedroom, which made the wedding night awkward and not romantic at all. Also, the bride and groom said the bed was extremely uncomfortable. - If youre still not deterred, all of this and more can be yours for a hefty price of over $17,000!

We had our wedding at Lone Star Mansion this past weekend (11/5/2022) and it was nothing short of perfection! The property is so beautiful, and really offers a unique guest experience. It s not often you can have your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception in 3 different locations, all on the same property! Fabiola (who made us feel more like friends than clients) took care of us every step of the way, often putting in extra hours to make sure she accommodated our every need. She s incredibly passionate about her work and always made sure we felt comfortable and at ease reaching out to her whenever we needed something. We hired her as our day of coordinator, and highly recommend doing the same if you choose this venue! It s 100% worth it. We didn t lift a finger the entire day; she managed all vendor arrivals and set up, and everything ran flawlessly. Her attention to detail is unmatched; she and her assistant Keesha just couldn t have done a better job. We viewed many other DFW venues, but ultimately chose LSM because of how personalized and non corporate it felt. The staff there truly cares about making your day absolutely perfect, and put the time and effort in to making sure that their clients are comfortable and happy. They treat the property like their own home, and we felt welcome there from the first time we toured. Huge thank you to the LSM team for such a perfect execution, and for making our day so special!

Driving up to the house in the middle of a older neighborhood in Burleson you know its something different. Youll find a big white gate and a bridge to cross and the big house comes in to view. This a neat piece of property for a big party. 2 ballrooms and a mansion all around a big pool. The chapel was all widows and with an almost entirely green view from all the oak trees. The mansion has a pretty view as well. There was also a really nice Gazebo area. Looks like this place could host a wedding rain or shine.

If I could give Lone Star Mansion 10 stars, I absolutely would. Being in the event industry myself, I was so nervous about passing the reins to someone else, but Lone Star Mansion blew me away! Tigi and Sara were so professional and knowledgeable and an absolute blessing to us! Our day could not have gone more perfectly. Tigi was flexible and very go with the flow, but still kept us on schedule. She checked on me and my husband throughout the whole night and we were so appreciative of that. We felt special throughout the entire planning process and especially day of. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous- pictures do not do it justice! We received endless compliments the day of and still are now! My dream wedding was made a reality thanks to LSM and their team

Lone Star Mansion is by far one of my favorite venues in all of DFW to DJ at. Not only is the venue itself gorgeous, but the entire property has several choices to hold the wedding ceremony as well as beautiful photo op locations. With that being said, the staff is probably my favorite feature of all. Everyone is so professional and kind hearted that it makes weddings there practically flawless. If you are thinking of hosting your wedding or event at the Lone Star Mansion, do it before someone else books your date!

My husband and I recently got married at the Lone Star Mansion. We absolutely enjoyed that we were able to select a package where we could have the venue all day of the wedding and stay the night in their Bridal Suite. We were both able to have a calm and relaxing day leading up to the wedding because the coordinators made sure to take care of any details or communication to relay to our vendors, wedding party, and guests. We loved that we had the opportunity to stay the night at the mansion, we felt well pampered by the amenities, and were given breakfast that next morning. We felt like we were in a fairy-tale.

Had a surprise birthday party for my mothers 60th (or 40th, depending on who you ask). They were attentive, easy to work with, and made sure everything was taken care of. The whole property at The Lone Star Mansion is beautiful!! They have a wide variety of spots to choose from to have your ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour! The bridal area is awesome and even has a place to get pedicures but the mens area is even cooler and will not disappoint with its bar area, pool table, giant tv, and saunas!! The whole staff is very professional and will work tirelessly to make sure your day is everything you dreamed of! If you are looking for quality at a reasonable price make sure you schedule a meeting to look at this place, its worth it!

I attended a wedding event and can report from a dudes perspective that this venue is awesome. The downstairs parlor is completely decked out to accommodate the groom and his entourage. No detail was missed. It features a bar (of course), full size pool table, wet and dry saunas, shower, big screen TV with DirecTV and sofa, and walnut paneling. It even has a separate room with a gaming table. We eventually had to leave and go to the wedding, unfortunately. So, I would highly recommend this venue, but tell the bride to expect the grooms party to be late to the service!

We booked a bridal shoot. We got to use the whole place for 2 hours even the bridal suite and dressing room. It makes for a gorgeous back drop for modern and traditional photos. It was 250$ for 2 hours. Our photographer said that was cheaper than most that are as nice. Plus the ladies are always nice when I have to go in there!!

This venue was more than my husband and I could ve dreamed of. Our wedding was about a month ago, and guests are still talking about how beautiful and breathtaking the venue was and how amazing the food was. My favorite part was the overnight stay. We were able to use the entire mansion and go where we wanted (we took advantage of the saunas in the man cave). This brings me to my husbands favorite part. The man cave is in the basement and has pool, a poker room, saunas (wet and dry), showers, a bar, and a huge tv, where they could play video games or watch cable tv. Overall, this was the perfect place to get married, and I couldn t have imagined a better venue.

Lone Star Mansion is HANDS DOWN the PERFECT place to get married. My husband and I saw the Mansion at a gathering two years before we were even engaged and while there he told me this is where we will be getting married one day. When we got engaged he had only three requests and the number one request was the only place we would even look at was the mansion. I could not be more pleased with our choice. Not only is the mansion its self worth every penny but the food was AMAZING. from the lunch provided by the staff to the dinner everything was PERFECT. having the option to be served lunch made for one less thing to worry about and as you get closer to the day that is just not something you need on your plate! we also loved that our friends had a great time. there was no stressing out trying to find room for people or things and our wedding party was able to enjoy this entire day with us! Sara and Alex were ANGELS, SERIOUSLY they were heaven sent. I could not imagine how my wedding day would have gone if it were not for those two! Thank you all so much! -Mr. and Mrs. Davis

We got married at Lone Star Mansion in November 2017. Since pictures can speak for itself, you already know that the mansion is gorgeous. Booking the package to have it for the whole day to get ready in their amazing bridal and groom suites is something I would also recommend. From the day we booked Lone Star Mansion, the staff couldnt have been more helpful. We got a few opportunities to go to open houses and put together our vision for the wedding. I also emailed Tigi (the event coordinator) many questions that she effortlessly answered (always in a timely manner). Having a day-of coordinator that already came included with Lone Star Mansion was a blessing, and having it be Tigi was just a bonus. Our wedding day ran very smoothly (even despite Tigi having to leave mid way through for a family emergency and passing the duty off to another staff member!) The entire staff is very competent and are experts at what they do. Special shout out to Tigi for climbing a very tall tree to retrieve a crashed drone, they really will do anything to help your day run smoothly!

This is an awesome venue before, during, and after the wedding. The property provides great views and can accommodate crowds of all sizes. There are several different locations on site that you can use for your wedding or event and all of them are beautiful and well maintained. The house and grounds were available to us all day and there are even separate quarters for the groomsmen and bridesmaids to get ready which takes the hassle out of shuttling people to and from the facility. Upstairs, where the ladies got ready, there is a large room with mirrors, a tall closet, and plenty of outlets...perfect for hair and makeup. Downstairs in the basement the guys had a full bar, a pool table, big screen tv, poker table and a large sauna/shower room. The venue allows several different options for vendors and even has an in-house chef who thoughtfully prepared our lunch (day of) and delicious reception dinner with our wants in mind. Tigi and the staff are there for you every step of the way, from the big things to minor details, she made sure we did not have to worry about a thing on the big day or the months leading up. Not to mention, Tigi kept me worry-free by making herself readily available via email! Quick and timely responses really helped the coordinating and planning process. There was construction on the carriage house a few weeks before our wedding date and she made sure to keep us posted every step of the way... reassuring us that everything would be finished on time and of course... IT WAS! The day of the wedding everything goes by so fast, but Tigi was there to make sure we enjoyed every special moment we had planned. She kept all events running smoothly, we were actually ahead of schedule which left us extra time for dancing :) After things settled down we were welcomed back to the mansion and had cake served to our room with a bottle of champagne. In the morning we were greeted with breakfast and a couples massage! I honestly wouldnt have changed a thing about the venue or the staff. I have the best memories and pictures because of both, and not to mention EVERYONE who came (almost 200 people) commented on how beautiful the wedding was and how much fun they had. We had an amazing experience at the Lone Star Mansion and are looking for another excuse to go back!

Lone Star Mansion is AMAZING! We had our wedding there on June 1, 2017 and it was the wedding of our dreams. From the gorgeous setting to the best wedding food Ive ever had, EVERYTHING was completely perfect. My husband and I were also able to stay in the mansion on our wedding night. It was so nice not having to drive somewhere else. Tigi was the best wedding coordinator I couldve asked for. She answered all of my questions, made sure our wedding day ran smoothly, and was always listening to my needs and wants with a smile. After our wedding was over, I was sad that I wouldnt get to talk to Tigi and Sarah on the regular. Our wedding was a fairytale, thanks to Lone Star Mansion, and a day we constantly want to relive!

This venue provided everything this bride needed! The beautiful scenery (so I didn t need many decorations), catering (THE FOOD IS SO YUMMY! All my guests raved about it.), tables and chairs and linens, and a wedding coordinator who was so kind, and made me feel at absolutely peace that the ceremony and reception would run smoothly. Example: I never coordinated who would be passing out the cake after it was cut, and the Lone Star team took it upon themselves to serve the cake. I look back on my wedding SO fondly and cannot think of a single mishap, and this venue is the main reason why.

One of my favorite venues in DFW! The staff there is unparalleled with customer service and always SO GREAT to work with. My DJ company has had the pleasure of working several events at Lone Star Mansion and every time has been flawless! The wedding ceremonies are always gorgeous either outside on the lawn with the mansion as a backdrop, by the sparking pond, or inside the pool house (Great also as a back up plan in bad weather!) and the newly renovated Carriage House is perfect for receptions with plenty of space for ample seating and a huge dance floor and patio for the nice weather! Forerunner Entertainment is always excited to be back out there and cannot wait until our next opportunity!

I had a FANTASTIC experience with the Lonestar Mansion. The venue was gorgeous, the service was great, and the fact that there were so many services built in was a lifesaver. I worked with Tigi Vinson the majority of the time and she was amazing! Tigi was so helpful and positive throughout our engagement and the planning process and was the one who kept everything together on our wedding day. She answered all of my questions very quickly (and I had many). She did a great job creating a schedule and reception floorplan for us. She was wonderful day of when she helped guide us through our wedding day schedule. I would not have even thought about cutting the cake or doing toasts if it wasnt for her! She helped gently keep us on track while giving us the opportunity to have a great time. All of the little details were taken care of flawlessly, down to the small things that I would never have thought of. The food at our reception was incredible. We chose Italian, so I cant speak for any of the other meals the chef provides, but ours was fantastic. We had so many compliments on the food, and the groom and I both agreed it was delicious. I was very impressed with the quality of the food considering it was made for 200 people. Our wedding day really could not have been more perfect - looking back there is really nothing I would have changed, and nothing at all went wrong. This was in large part due to the Lonestar Mansion and everything they did for us. I HIGHLY recommend Lonestar Mansion!

They treated my wedding like it was their own. There is no higher compliment I give to them. I would absolutely recommend Lonestar Mansion to my best friends and family. Ive been raving about the Lonestar Mansion since I had my first meeting with Tigi, and the entire staff continued to be exceptional throughout the entire process. The venue and the service were absolutely perfect! The food was phenomenal! My mother couldnt believe the pricing and all that was included. Everything went without a hitch, and the staff was extremely accommodating and thoughtful. A few hints: They do make you use their caterer, but the food is DELICIOUS. My husband and I actually sat down to enjoy our meal because it was THAT good, and there was plenty for all of our guests. I do recommend purchasing additional time if youre going with an afternoon wedding. You will want the additional time so you dont feel rushed, and you can enjoy the venue. Pictures turned out beautifully and our photographer wished that she had more time to take photos. So make sure you schedule at least a full hour for bride and groom photos. We only had about 45 minutes and that wasnt enough.

If you are looking for a beautiful venue, The Lone Star Mansion is no disappointment. Its gorgeous! Sadly its beauty doesnt make up for the terrible customer service or lack of properly functioning AC. From the moment I got to the mansion on my wedding day, 11 am, to the moment the wedding ended, I was miserably HOT. The first thing my husband and I asked the staff when we toured was does the AC work? Will it be cool all night?. They assured us it would be cool. This was not the case. It was miserable, and I literally was having dizzy spells while I was getting ready. They obviously knew it doesnt stay cool because there were probably a dozen little fans in the girls dressing room. Besides the heat, we didnt have water all day even after hunting my coordinator down asking for some. (They finally brought us some HOURS later). I had a 2 hour details meeting a couple weeks before the wedding, which apparently was a waste of time because nothing was recorded from the meeting. We discussed we wanted appetizers and it was never added. We discussed when and where the rehearsal would be along with tons of other last minute details, but I received an email a couple weeks later asking all the same questions as if we never had the meeting. I didnt see my coordinator all day until about ten minutes before the wedding. The waiters/waitresses did a VERY poor job of clearing tables, refilling drinks, etc. One of my bridesmaids had to ask them to go check on the tables. I could go on, but I think you get the point. Terrible service. Sadly the service is what makes or breaks a venue.

I wish I could give this venue MORE than 5 stars. Our wedding was absolutely perfect. Tigi, Sarah and Hannah made sure that everything went smoothly and were beyond accommodating. The grounds were absolutely stunning and Chef Stephen did a phenomenal job with our menu. For cocktail hour, he created a gorgeous cheese and fruit spread with carved fruit, and our dinner was absolutely delicious.Guests who attended our wedding could not stop raving about how perfect everything was, and I owe it ALL to Tigi, Sarah and Hannah from Lone Star Mansion. Every single detail that I could have wanted was hit by the staff at Lone Star. Throughout the entire planning process, Tigi was available 24/7 and able to calm my nerves and help me feel that everything would run smoothly. She and her team, did just that. I feel like Lone Star Mansion is a hidden gem in the DFW area and I am so happy that we had the privilege to get married and have our reception there. Stunning and over the top wonderful!
