Talk about a major league screw-up. My wife and I are scheduled to close tomorrow and have been for a month. We let Truly know WEEKS ago via both a phone conversation and written notice that my wife would not be at signing. Fast-forward to today (the day before closing), and I get notified that Truly had no idea that my wife would not be at signing, so THIS AFTERNOON, my wife (who is beyond stressed and busy with this move) had to sign a document, take it to be notarized, and get it returned. Now the lender has to do their part in a rush to process the request/form and get it over to the title company. Long story short, we may not get our house tomorrow because of their incompetence. I just started a new job and worked out a time with my employer to be at closing. We originally were scheduled to close at 4:00 in the afternoon but were told that if we waited until that late, we might not gain possession until three days later since closing is on a Friday. The title company said we could do it at 8:30 in the morning, so I took it in an effort to make sure that everything has time to process so we get our house tomorrow. Now, it s going to have to be rescheduled once again which means I m worrying about gaining possession tomorrow, and I have to go back to my boss again. This seems like an irresponsible mom and pop operation, but it s pretty consistent with everything we have endured thus far. I m not sure who selects the title company in a home purchase, but I would do anything you can to steer closing somewhere else. We have people driving down this weekend to help us clean and get moved in. We also have flights that were scheduled based on taking possession tomorrow. This in inexcusable. How many times, and in how many different ways, did they need to be notified, weeks in advance, that my wife would not be present at closing?

I had to go, 3 stars here. The process was great, the people were excellent. My major tick about this was finding out the mineral rights were not included in the deal too late. I was about to not purchase the home until the person handling my case told my wife that they might not even own them and that small little tidbit of not being FACTUAL cost us mineral rights the owners kept. of course, after that misconception of information was relayed to my wife, I knew the argument would be lost. In the future I expect they will have learned from my call to the team about STAYING factual to future customers during the largest purchase of their lives. This will always be a sore spot for me in this home that makes my blood boil every time I think about it. Which is where the 3 stars come from. Im am sure they have learned from my rant <call> to the office and wont make it again. This means everything from here forward should be 5 stars. And that wouldnt surprise me.

Falon from Truly Title in Burleson was amazing to work with! We had a tight timeline to close before the end of the year, and Falon helped to ensure that not only did we close with plenty of time to spare, but we did so with the least amount of stress as possible. During our final closing day, she was so thorough and efficient, and the experience was better than we could have hoped for. We ended our close not only with a paper copy of our documents, but also an electronic copy on a USB drive. We are very happy with our partnership with Truly Title, and I am certain we will do business with this team again soon!

This place is horrible. We had a situation where my grandmother died in August of 2020 and while dealing with this We lost my mom in June of 2021. This place was chosen to handle my grandmothers house. We explained from the beginning that the money from the house needed to be split into 3 then 1 share of it had to be split into two. Originally the money was supposed to be spit between my mom and her two brothers. Since my mom died her share was supposed to be split between her children (my brother and i). I am not sure how they could not understand the situation after it was explained multiple times. I was taking care of my moms funeral, my moms side of my grandmothers stuff, etc. So this was excruciating for me to deal with for me. This was supposed to be finalized in Nov. 2021 but as of today Sept 2022 they keep randomly sending us $20 checks. Why? $20 will not make up for all the anguish that they put us through when it should have been an easy process.

Disappointed with Truly Title. They changed the closing amount the day before closing and totally failed to let me know. Got to their office after a three hour drive and we were short by $150. Had to spend another $30 on a wire transfer which maybe will arrive in time.
