The gentleman that helped my husband and I was extremely knowledgeable. I have celiac and he made sure they used a different cutting board and pulled meat from the back. The remaining of the staff was friendly and helpful. I was finally able to eat out without the fear of potentially getting sick. I highly recommend!! Bonus the portions are big for the price. I d give a zero but that s not possible. My mother has a disability and went to this location. Two of the employees were extremely rude, snickering and making faces at her behind her back while my aunt noticed them. The manager was very dismissive and didn t seem to care about the situation. You should talk to all of your employees and make this place better. The employees who acted like this you should be ashamed of yourself and think how would you feel if you were in my mother s situation. I can assure you this isn t a Karen situation. You made her feel very uncomfortable so much that she just decided to leave and dine elsewhere. Do better.

They were efficient and quick with their platters. A lot of foot traffic with little to no wait times. Moo-oink-en platter. A well valued sampler platter. I suggest if youre not picky and for first timers. It comes with smoked chicken, ribs, brisket, and sausage. Chicken: it was very good and smoked well. Brisket: another good meat. Ribs: it was alright. Sausage: dont skip sausage. It was good. Some taco. Skip it. Salty. The tortillas were hard. (needed to be warmed up) Banana pudding. Dont skip it. Its so good! Cobbler. The cobbler itself was alright but pairs well with the ice cream they give you. Fyi. Well valued. Dont pee on the floor like their sign says lol.

I went here thinking that it was going to be standard barbecue like everywhere else, but I was completely surprised at how good the food really was, especially if you eat it while its hot and fresh. The meats were perfectly cooked. The banana pudding was fabulous. I wanted to try a little bit of everything, so I got the moo-oink-en platter. It was a little expensive for one person, but I wanted to get the full experience. I definitely had leftovers, even after my wife helped pick off off my plate to try stuff. The BBQ pinto beans were in a food group of their own. The beans were awesome. They had a chili taste. The only thing that really wasnt great for my taste was the potato salad. It was the type with the potato skins and everything else, and it just didnt really work for my palette, but some people might like it. Overall, my wife and I were both impressed. This is our new pick for BBQ. Plus, the wait staff was very courteous and engaging.

We used Roscoes to cater our wedding. If we had to do it again, I wouldn t even consider using someone else! Everything from the food, to the service, to the price, was absolutely outstanding! We worked with Scott, who was so helpful and made the process so easy for us. If you are looking to cater for any kind of event, it would be foolish to look anywhere except to Roscoes!

Avoid at all costs! I m not sure what was on my plate but it was the palest brisket I ve ever seen. I asked for moist brisket and the staff said fat back? Or fat top? I m not sure which I ended up with but that meat could not have been cooked all the way, it was gray! Stupidly I decided to take a couple of bites anyway and it was as disgusting as it looked. This meal made me sick to my stomach the next few days and so weak. I ve had food poisoning before so this wasn t quite at that level but I m sure if I had eaten the whole thing I would have gone to the hospital. Has this place been checked by the food inspector lately?

They do catering! We actually decided to have them cater our wedding, and let me tell you it was a hit! So many of our guests complemented on how good the BBQ was and how much they enjoyed it. They provide so much for the catering including sides and drinks, cutlery, plates. It really was helpful to have so many options and know that our guests would have a variety of food and drink options from them alone. In addition they did such a good job on serving the food in a quick manner and while it was hot! So if you have an event and are considering BBQ catered, I would highly recommend trying them out!

This is not your typical sit down service restaurant. When you walk in, you go up to the counter, pick your dish off the menu on the wall, and them watch the staff serve you from containers and prep your meal like at a Subway or Chipotle. The options are pretty standard American BBQ options, sliced brisket, baby back ribs, meatloaf, chicken, sausage, and for sides, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, cole slaw, etc. They also sell dessert (I didnt have it, but someone in our party had the homemade banana pudding for $4.99...and apparently, its pretty good). Lastly, they sell assorted beers here and theres a bar if youd like to sit at a bar. Once you grab your meal, you can grab some plastic cutlery and sit wherever you like. I had the sliced brisket, which was very soft and tender, aside from that, the sides werent anything to brag about. Parking: Theres parking on three sides of the restaurant. We went on a Tuesday night and it was nearly full and we nabbed the last 2 spots, which was a good sign. There are other businesses next store probably using some of those spots. Although the parking lot was full, it was only about half full inside.

My wife and I have been missing a great stuffed baked potato since moving to the DFW area and after 5 years I think weve finally found our go to spot. The potatoes were are the bigger side than other ones Ive had and the chicken was great. My wife got hers with brisket (which was good) but we both agreed the chicken was so much better. Theres a full bar opposite of the dinning area, which got a little rowdy (seemed like a few regulars were there and just having a fun Friday after work time, so nothing major) but it was still a great meal.

Ive been a few times and havent had a bad meal. Prices are reasonable. My main factor is the meats arent overwhelmingly smoked where all you can taste is the bark of the wood (mesquite or hickory). Meats are tender and flavorful. The burger is really good too.

Roscoes catered a party for 73 people for my family. The entire experience from scheduling the event, to the actual catering service, to service they provided after the event was all excellent! Every person throughout the whole process was friendly, helpful, and provided amazing customer service! The food was excellent and multiple people commented on how good it was. Well this time was off the normal. There was a table of extremely loud women in the bar area that ruined our experience. I know another customer across from us was not happy either and hurried and ate and left. I dont blame the restaurant at all. Edit: Im editing the review: Ive been back several times since the previous review (3/5 stars), with no issues. Im leaving the original review up for accuracy and transparency and adjusting my review to 5/5. Recently the quality of food and service has improved dramatically from the previous review. I want to thank the managers and staff. Previous Review The food was excellent as always. I go here as a local several times a month and I mean this review in a constructive manner. I felt really bad for the bartender tonight (12 November 2022 @ 6:00pm). I want to make sure everyone knows that the bartender was amazing, attentive, and professional. She was an absolute delight always smiling and always checking on the bar area customers. The gentleman performing barback duties tonight (lone ponytail, shaved head) who was just waiting to finish hours and tip out (his words), was not really assisting the bartender. You could tell he was just trying to run out the clock. He pulled out the empty/dirty glass cart into the middle of the bar area to fill the bottom tray, cutting off the bartender from the coolers and customers. I watched him empty dozens of goblets into the trash (one at a time). He would pick them up from the rim or stem. Then without washing hands or even wiping them off, hand a fresh beer bottle to the bartender by the top from the cooler and restock the cooler with more Corona. That beer bottle went to a customer. I dont think he did this intentionally of course and he may be the coolest guy ever. I honestly do not know. She looked absolutely frustrated and could not service half the bar due to the empty/dirty glass cart that was in the way. She also looked like she didnt want to say anything or was trying to avoid a confrontation. My advice, order draft.

Food was good but no seats. Had to stand up at a table with another couple. 6:30 Friday evening and the place turns into a bar. There were more people just drinking beer than eating. The noise was unbelievable. Go for lunch or get it to go. Another note for the owner. I guess Burleson doesnt have any health or restaurant codes but hair and beard nets are usually required. The guy serving the sides had a beard about a foot long that was hanging into the food.

First time visiting this place last night. The food was good. The prices were a bit high, but what I expected. The staff was kind of curt. I ordered the Deadbeat sandwich and was asked what 2 sides I wanted. I asked for fries and the mac n cheese and the guy behind the counter barked at me that it would be $1 extra for the mac. Okay? So they gave me the sandwich and mac and told me the fries would come out to me in just a bit. And they did... 20 minutes later. I had finished my sandwich and mac by the time they came out. We were all ready to go by then and I didnt want or need the fries so they went into a to-go box and probably will not get eaten because, you know, soggy, left over fries are horrible. I didnt get to eat all the food I paid for but by golly I paid that $1 extra for the mac and cheese. I probably will not go back by choice.

Finally gave this place a shot and wish I had done so sooner, BEST bbq in town. I ordered the sampler platter and could have not been any happier. Customer service and food quality I give 10/10. Keep up the good work Roscoes!

Worst experience at a bbq joint in Texas, sat at the bar couldnt get service, waitress didnt have a pen or pad when she took my order so of course when food arrived it was wrong. Had to walk chase the waitress down to correct it .. makes you really miss K&S BBQ THAT WAS IN JOSHUA.

I was recommended Roscoes by a coworker since I was here for the week. Im glad I went. I tried the Honey BBQ Wings and The Fries w/ cheese and jalapeño ranch. The wings are clearly baked, which makes the meat tender. They were a good size, and the Honey BBQ had a great smokey flavor. The Jalapeño Ranch Cheese Fries were also a win. Its a huge portion but still good nonetheless. Id definitely come back to try what else they have to offer.

I called to place a to go order, I was left on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up and called back and was placed on hold for about 5 more minutes. The young lady said she was swamped didnt look that way when I picked it up. I was leaving Krogers when I placed the order . I got a BBQ Baker with Brisket and Brisket street Tacos with burnt end. The food was subpar at best and i am currently regretting my stop. First time and last.

Ive had Roscoes many times at work. They would cater special meals for us, and the food was amazing. This was my first time to eat in the restaurant. Same great friendly customer service. Its like the employees enjoy their jobs. Very professional and friendly. The food was still amazing. The chicken, brisket, smoked sausage, potato salad. All of it is great. In restaurant they have jalapeno cheddar smoked sausage. Excellent! At first the portions seemed small until I actually ate everything. Plenty of food. Great service, food and atmosphere.

The staff was very kind and helpful when asked questions. But the food was just bad. We came around 2:30 on a Saturday and our sides were cold and the meat was just warm not even hot. Spent $35 on two plates and we didn t even eat it all took it home for the dogs. Chicken was dry, ribs were okay, pulled pork was almost a pile of fat only. Needless to say we won t be back.

Nice selection of menu items. Friendly and accommodating staff. Not the best BBQ Ive ever eaten but it wasnt half bad either. Overall an enjoyable experience with little to complain about.
