The park offers spacious, well-maintained paths, perfect for a stroll or run The bathrooms are clean and functional, though not particularly luxurious. The playground is peaceful and designed mainly for older kids, but toddlers can still have fun with careful supervision. Theres a covered pavilion with picnic tables as well

I love the openness of this park. Its never crowded but always feels safe (expect a friendly face every few minutes). What I love most are the miles of trails that wind through the gorgeous country - not bad for a place so close to the city.

Great park, well maintained trails and play structures. Wood chips were fresh which seems rare at parks I go to with the kids! Only downside was the bathrooms were out of service but there was an out house type room as a back up. Playground: Playground had fresh wood chips and was well maintained. Toilets: Restrooms were out of service temporarily but there was an outhouse as a backup. Picnic area: There were covered tables as well as a few tables out in the field.

I love walking this park every week. Its just big enough to get in a good walk without being so big you have to worry about getting lost. I always enjoy seeing the wildlife and the trail is really well kept. And the best part is its close enough to downtown Buda that I can go get a snow cone from A Snowballs Chance after a good walk.

It s a calm green park in Buda. The tracks are kept clear and clean. Great for a nice run. It s not our first choice for kids playground fun. Playground: It s not our first choice for kids playground fun. Small and for older kids only. Toilets: Updated couple of years ago. Dog-friendliness: Yes, friendly for pets on leash. Picnic area: Large enough area by the playground. I don t have info on when and how the parties I ve seen are organized.

I didnt see anyone playing on it Toilets: Pretty nice little restroom building at the beginning of the trail Dog-friendliness: Its not a huge part but you can go a bunch of different ways on the little paths within it. People did not seem too fond of my dogs being off leash, but they werent confrontational Picnic area: Large picnic area with good shade

Pros: trail is clean, pretty, and well-kept. Not a lot of people, so its great for dogs that dont like crowded trails. Cons: Trail is short, water fountain for humans/dogs doesnt work, trail is COVERED in sticker burrs. My poor pub couldnt go more than 20 feet without getting them stuck in-between her paws. We eventually had to turnaround. Now im going to be the dog mom that has her dog wear shoes. Living in Kyle, this is the nicest trail I have found for walking. Wish it was longer in distance, but other than that, happy its nearby and will continue going!

Pretty park 5 stars for scenic but loud music from a nearby bar, if you walk really far away its not so bad and you can get a little bit of peace and quiet, which is what a park is supposed to be, the reason most people visit a park is to get away and get some peace and quiet good thing the park is pretty big to escape the loud music. Excellent trails for running and doggy walking.

This park rocks during the Holiday Season as it is where our nearest free drive-thru Trail of Lights takes place during Christmas. I took my dog there in the last 2 weeks in the interest of visiting other nearby parks. We were disappointed! There was no one there except for us! Some might find that peaceful, but it felt deserted. The walking trails are long but there is zero shade, which is essential in Texas Summer heat. So our walk was cut short. I would like to see benches or seating near the pond area so we can enjoy the view. The bathroom by the Boy Scout ring was horrifying! In the age of Covid, I was already hesitant to use it, but we were so far away from the car. I opened the door to find the toilet seat smeared with feces! Ick!! We wont be returning until next Christmas when it is worth visiting.

Cute city park with plenty to offer. The playground is pretty small and half of it isnt very accessible to little ones but it does the trick. The main trail isnt well-shaded but stroller friendly. The picnic shelter is large enough for birthday parties and there are several historic buildings close to the entrance. Our favorite event is the Trail of Lights! Its free and spread out so there is plenty of room to move through at your own pace.

I dont know what to say about this park. Im a runner Im a nature lover. Stagecoach park by this standard is a subpar park. Every branch of each trail is essentially a loop, youre not going to get your fix as a runner because no matter what route you take you can complete this entire park in about 10 minutes. I love the kid park, I think the small lake in the center is stagnant and boring, there are really nice fire pits and there are plenty of restrooms. The paths are really well maintained and are a mixture of paved and dirt trails. The park was surprising packed early in the morning so its not a park I would run at with my dog. Its really lacking in the scenery as well. Its an average park. This is not the kind of park you could get a good workout in, there is no fitness area, the trails are boring and not necessarily long enough...most important there is no real connection with nature. If you just want a place to go...this is fine. If you want to put in your earphones, turn the world off and just run to escape the world...you have far better options. Since I fall into the second category I gave to rate this as a subpar park for my needs.
