Had a good meal here, its ran by a few Latinas as far as i can tell. Service was good but it took then a while to get my strawberry milkshake, and they dont offer refills on fountain drinks, just iced tea, and as someone who doesnt drink tea, that was disappointing. The food was pretty good, they make a really good salsa and overall my meal (#15) filled me up just enough to where I could finish it but not enough to cause discomfort.

Restaurant was pretty good, but not spectacular. The atmosphere was very basic, but the wait staff seemed nice. They had a very large menu to choose from which is nice and it seemed like they could be a very affordable breakfast option!

Ask for a carne asada taco two to be precise. What I got was literally the gristle part of a steak or something no meat at all wasn t even chewable or edible I wasted my money. I felt as if since I was a darker skinned individual they just gave me whatever thinking I don t know what Mexican cuisine is supposed to be. I was to upset to go back so I decided to write this review. I would be careful choosing places that are foreign to your culture. Despite growing up around all types of cultures it s sad to see how we do each other.

Quaint little place. First time customer, I had the #1 fajita combo plate. My husband had the mojarra frita plate. Let me be the one to say this place has an authentic Mexican taste. Rare to find a jewel with this quality. If you have not stopped by this restaurant, I truly recommend it!!!!

I ve been visiting this location for years I love they breakfast and salsa. I visited today and was highly disappointed with the service. I ordered two different orders because I was getting someone else food now it only comes with one barely filled cup of salsa and a bag of chips to share if two people is making a order why must we share salsa and chips we aren t sharing money nor food so shouldnt we get what we paid for unless we pay extra for another bag of chips and salsa although We just spent money on 2 different transactions that s so disappointing how money is becoming the root of all evil.. I don t like spending my money at locations that act like this will be looking for another location to purchase from whom appreciate the customers.

The food at El Sol is pretty good. No complaints. Service is usually pretty good too. Salsa is important to me and thats a bit of a weak spot. One annoying thing about the place is the juke box, which is way way too big and loud for the space. Super aggravating when it comes on, which it does randomly.

El Sol De Mexico is a nice little Mexican restaurant, and Id probably go back! You get complimentary chips and salsa as you arrive and they have lots of drink options and a huge menu to sift through. We tried just the regular tacos, and although the pastor tacos were a bit salty/fatty they were still not bad, but the Nopales (Cactus) taco was delicious and I would definitely go back for a full plate of those!
