The home of the flaming dr pepper and just a really cool old neighborhood bar vibe. Has character. Also very nostalgic since I may have gone a time or two during my undergrad. Great drink prices and pours.

Open again and not much has changed except the hours. Something about a VIP card on Tuesday? Spirits prices are high, but the selection is decent. The staff is nice and its usually quiet enough. Not a bad place to throw darts.

Small drive bar just reopened after being closed for a few years. Im glad it isnt as smokey as it used to be. My friends played darts and the prices for drinks were ok. I see they have a decent stage area, hopefully they will begin to have performances soon. Their cocktail menu is a bit pricey for what they are offering, though im not sure they charged the full price listed on the menu.

This place is is your typical neighborhood dive bar, only clean and quiet. The clientele have been, in my experience, upper crust-ish, welcoming, and friendly. There was a little talk of both religion and politics, which in my experience doesnt mix with alcohol, but everyone was in agreement so it stayed civil. The bartender, Devin, was surprisingly capable, despite her apparent youth. She made the drinks properly, and was very attentive to everyone. I never had to wait for a refill on my water. I always ask for my water neat and quite often, I get ice anyway. Never with her. The place is clean but very red. They have small 2 to 4 person booths along the wall with backs that go to the ceiling and fake curtains tied back between each one. This wouldnt be a bad place to have quiet, private or business conversations with a partner or mistress. Or wife to roleplay as your mistress. The two televisions are lackluster but usable. Since its really kind of a dive bar (but again, a nice one,) Im not deducting anything for that. For a quiet friendly drink after work, I like this place a lot.
