My husband and I always drive by this place for our commute to work. We decided to stop by and my goodness. They have a delicious ceviche! It didn t have that strong acidic taste like some places serve. Super fresh ingredients, nice presentation. We also had the fried shrimp and oysters plate. Delicious as well. They have music videos playing at a nice volume you can actually hold a conversation. I will definitely visit again. The staff was friendly.

First, let me start by mentioning my background before I lay down my review. I am the son of a Cajun shrimper who grew up on seafood most of my life; I ate seafood fresh off the boat, so I know a thing or two about eating seafood, and regretfully, the seafood here is nothing to brag about! Honestly, I believe I m being generous with a two star review, on the food alone enough said!!!

What an amazing little restaurant! fresh chips and salsa to start and tasty soup! I had a ceviche tostada for an appetizer. Very good!! Had the shrimp with Chipotle cream sauce. Soooo good! I definitely recommend stopping by! Service was also excellent!

We ventured over on a Sunday afternoon and the the food was tasty with large portions (I had the chipotle cream sauce shrimp and my wife the fried shrimp.) Mari provided wonderful service, the prices were very reasonable, and the atmosphere was comfortable. The owner Adriana went out of her way to provide excellent hospitality. Well be back soon.

We had a great time at this location. The food and service were excellent. I highly recommend the shrimp and fish in chipotle sauce. The oysters were very fresh and on point. The kids love the selection in the kids menu I highly recommend eating at this restaurant.

Did not know such a great sea food place with nice decor and ambience exists so close to the hotel I usually prefer to stay being close to Port of Brownsville when ever I am visiting Brownsville very good food and service!! With a lot of variety in sea food!

We just had lunch there! The man that attended us was very knowledgeable of all the types of seafood and everything was steaming hot and fresh even the salsita. We got the mariscada for 2 and it was SO PERFECT! The Limonada is so fresh and great. I loved our experience so much. We will be back! Maybe even later for another Caldo se Mariscos, the crab was so so soft and delicious.

Hefty size, definately bang for your buck. Had the florentino shrimp and oaxaca fillet. It was amazing and they offer to go to! Great place and close by for me too. The pictures posted are for my latest visit and they are siletz in lobster sauce and my wife had the florentino fillet.

FAMILY OWNED and really nice people. We stopped at Mi Tierra Sea Food Restaurant at the recommendation of a local young man working at Gordon s Bait Shop. He was SPOT ON. Really good food, the vegetable soup was so delicious! The taco and po boy sandwich was super tasty. We ll be back when in Brownsville!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Wow... almost 40 minutes for them to take our order... thats a record! Congrats! They just brought our drinks and never came back. They started serving other customers that got there after us, I want to believe they were favorite customers or relatives. Still when we got up to leave and pay for our drinks the cashier had the nerve to tell us those customers ordered ahead by phone before they got there. I dont understand then why they were asking what would they like to order and giving them menus... they didnt even apologized for the time we spent there watching them serving other people... AWFUL SERVICE

Walked an was welcomed by Don Manuel. Very clean, tables separated, most comfortable atmosphere. We order the kilo of fried fish, with white rice with veggies, tortillas, lemons, and different hots sauces. Oh the complimentry seafood soup, very good. Very good customer service. Why call a restaurant a Sea food Restaurant when the only thing from the sea on the menu is Shrimp? I asked what type of fish the filets were and I was told tilapia and bass. If I wanted fresh water fish, Id go fish them out of the creeks. No actual salt water fish and the ocean is down the street. So disappointing.

This place was amazing and unassuming. Hidden in a strip mall, you would not even expect the quality and flavor this place produces. We had ceviche, and it was the best I ve ever eaten. Boiled shrimp- even my 6 year old was devouring it. I would eat here every week, if I had that option. Worth it!

Best seafood I ve had. Server was so friendly, she brought us the biggest basket of warm chips, salsa, and two little bowls of soup. The cerviche was fresh and HUGE. I had a plate of tacos de pescado and it was so delicious - loaded with fish and sautéed onions and avocado. We left so full and happy. It s also incredibly affordable.

Great food.
