We usually come in a group of 5. Tables are only allowed 4 to play. I stated very clearly that I was not going to play (still expected to be able to sit with my party) Owner made me sit where the games are. When we come in an odd number he usually charges us an extra fee for the extra person and we don t mind because we re together. He refused to charge me extra for a no playing person (he always charged me when requested and never had a problem) and was charging me an extra table. Started to dislike this place a while back. The owner always has an attitude no matter how much you waste. I would say he s an interesting character but he seems to lack any. I will be going to dk s from now on. We have never ran to any problems with dk s.

Older guy at the register is so rude and makes up rules as he goes ! You can tell he doesn t like his job ! Absolutely ruined our experience for the night. This place lost my friends and i business until they get rid of him. See a lot of other reviews agree that he is bad at customer service VERY RUDE ! will be going to dk s from now on

Whoever was at the front was rude/uninviting. I remember they use to let kids in here but I guess thats changed. Brought my kid here and hes well behaved, not a screaming baby. Was told only 13 and up. My kid is like 10. Left quickly after the old surly cashier was there with his face . Ill take my business somewhere else. Place was clean and the remodel was a nice touch.

Great place but the workers are very rude, lack manners and common curiosity. Hire new workers that want to be there. i was forced to listen to a basketball game because the workers were watching it. I would have rather listened to music. The beer was warm not ice cold. Every time I asked for anything I was given a blank expression and no feedback at all. This place has the potential to be huge but your workers suck.

Probably one of the cleanest billards places in Brownsville. The felt on the billards table are smooth, it seems they have enough pool tables to go around. Nice jukebox. There is also a small arcade area. All and all I relaxing environment. It seems more of a young adults area than an actual bar (although they do serve drinks).

Billiards Room is a classic place to enjoy playing pool, hearing good music, and relaxing with your friends and family. My parents have been coming to this establishment since they themselves were teenagers in the 80s. It is a fun place and I highly recommend it!

$11 per hour on Friday? The foosball table was not greased and the pool tables look like antiques that are falling apart. No that all worth it. Unfortunately it is the only pool hall in town. They do leave a ton of room for any competition.....

Tables are really fast!! And there should be a continuous circulation of music when no one has put money in the Jukebox. Those are about the only negative aspects I can point out. Otherwise, its very clean with courteous staff and mature mgrs. on duty, plus brand new 8 and 9 tables makes altogether a nice ambience.

This was once the best place to play pool in town. It had been since my dad was my age. Unfortunately, this place is no longer what it once was. The place is worn and smells like mildew. The tables are scuffed at best after years of use. Most of the pool sticks are warped and uncared for. The beer selection here sucks. The snacks they have are limited, but are fairly priced.The prices for games have gone up over the last several years unfortunately. The worst thing of all, however, is the music situation. Customers have to pay for the music. If no one pays for a song or two, then the place goes silent, and having a conversation with your friends becomes instantly awkward. This place could be so much better, but unfortunately it has only survived due to the memories of old.
