Great food- mornings & dinner tacos. We had handmade corn tortillas with our food. The dinner tacos (Al pastor) have pineapple and are very well served. The owners are very friendly and respectful people.

I ordered charro beans which only had a piece of tomato and a piece of bacon fat floating in beans; these were more like regular pinto beans. Grilled Onions that came with the tacos were not as they show on their photos online. My sons 4 flour tacos had very little meat. The bistek corn tacos were good but smaller than my index finger; theyre bite size. Aside we ordered a bistek flour taco but gave me a pastor flour taco instead. It was alright but dont think Ill be visiting again. Almost $40 for our food.

Great came in at 827 didnt refuse our order even tho theyre about to close in 30 min. Food was great would recommend the staff do humble and great a little forgetting but overall great stayed open and late for us will come back

Super delicious food! My husband and my girls love it and I dont even say it! The trompo tacos are the best! Super good flavor ALL the food! We have tried the roasted potatoes with roast beef, the grilled tacos, the tostadas and the gringas and pirates and we loved them! I definitely recommend it!! Good service, super friendly God bless you with much more success that you deserve!!

OMG!!! I just discovered this place. You must look for it and come try the Hawaiian style tacos. They call them TACOS DE TROMPO it is the last picture on the review. I will suggest that they open on Sunday...I hear the request from fans. If you cant make up your mind..like me..and want to try everything...NO PROBLEMO!!!! Just order the $5.99 everyday special. They have sevral. I must add that the TACOS ROJOS are sooooo YUMMY!!!

First visit and very disappointed. The tacos are small, the portion is small and the price is high, $1.05 per taco. Other places have the same price, but well served and in a medium tortilla. I do not recommend this place for any reason.. visit at your own risk.

The lady that was cooking got really rude with my friend because she didnt speak spanish. You are 1 in 50 Mexican restaurants in this city so be grateful we chose yours. We waited for like 40 minutes for something super simple and then they didnt tell us the card machine wasnt working until after the fact so my friend had to pay for my food since I didnt have cash.

Excellent fresh lemonade! My daughter had the Tacos Matamoros combo, and I their Machacado Almuerzo a la Mexicana. These were well seved and tasty and it was served in a relaxed and very clean environment. Great customer service. This was my first visit after driving past it many times and wondering about it. El Rorro is a funny name, but oh well, Im glad I tried it.

If you are looking to eat some good tacos there is no better place in Brownsville, only here in El Rorro an excellent flavor and seasoning at an affordable price. There are different styles of tacos, as well as traditional lunches. Lemonade made natural and delicious! The treatment is friendly and respectful. The staff is friendly and quick in their service. The place is not big, it has a homely atmosphere, the bathrooms are very clean. My experience with my family was very pleasant. We will always return. There is no need to cross to Matamoros to authentically eat the flavors of our Mexico. If you are looking to eat tacos, look no further, the best place is here in Brownsville. El Rorro authentic Mexican food, delicious and priced right. They offer different styles of tacos including breakfast with traditional taste. The lemonade is fresh and delicious. The customer service is friendly, fast and respectful. The place is right sized with a home feel. The restrooms are clean. Our experience and that of my family was great. We will come back. No need to go across the border to eat authentic Mexican food, the place is already here.
