It seems very simple to me, I asked for well-cooked fried eggs and the raw yolk still came out of the egg. We also ordered Oatmeal and we loved that one! We read about the prices in the comments, but we still decided to give it a chance, because we were looking for a place where the food was delicious without paying attention to the cost, but if they were right, the price is too high for what they serve, everything is very simple and nothing impressive, so there are better options both in quality of food and price. 2 adults/ 2 children almost $85 (and we only ordered 1 drink and 1 coffee and 2 glasses of water). And the ticket doesnt even show what they are charging you.

WON T GO THERE AGAIN.!!! Went in to try for the first time. Two families walked in after us. One family ordered, ate and left and we still had no food. The other family got their food. So we walked up to the counter and asked the extremely rude man at the register to charge me for a coffee, and a coke since we hadn t received our food. He walked to the back without saying a word. Came back and said the food was ready. We told him no thank we were done. He told us we had to pay for the whole order or he would have to call the cops. After we argued we told him, just charge me and keep the food just so we can leave. He then started making comments. It s people like you that.. it s ridiculous. I said excuse me. After we had told him to charge us the whole order. He then called a lady from the back. Who I think was Jenny And she said the food was ready and plated. That they would still need to charge me since the food was at the table. I told her the food never got to the table. She had a look of total shock and disbelieve, as she looked at the man.And said don t worry about the bill, we are sorry you didn t get to try our food. That man needs to take lessons on customer service. This could ve gone in another direction had it been handled in another way. A simple apology could ve made a difference idk but definitely not that way. It left a bad taste in my mouth and I m definitely NEVER going back again!

The food was okay. The pictures and presentation made us believers. However, the flavors were certainly lacking. The food was underseasoned and underwhelming. I needed a lot of salsa to get the burrito down the hatch. We also paid quite a bit and didnt believe the food was worth the cost. I really wanted to love this place. On the plus side, their aguas were fresh and very good and I have no complaints about their menudo.

I will tell you that next time I m trying the burritos. I saw one served at another table, it looked as big as my arm. Today I had the special which was flautas, a small fideo and a soda. Everything was very good. The chips and salsa served to the table were really good and the salsa was the perfect amount of spice. Staff is super friendly.

Food is delicious, only thing is that they take forever to bring out your food. Last time I went to dine in, they took almost an hour and the next time i called for pick up an they took almost an hour as well. First they said 30 mins, and then after that 10 and then 5 mins. So if ur going just make sure u have the time and if ur calling make sure u call an hour before. Smh

Loved the ambience very mexican traditional vibes. Each table had a unique loteria card to identify it by. The food was delicious. We ordered birria tacos, tacos de bistek and Chilatorta. Each plate was filled with flavor. The bistek was soft and seasoned well, giving it a homemade flavor. The chilatorta was by far the best dish. It has beans, chilaquiles of your choice of salsa, cheese, cream, red onions and for a extra charge a egg. The bread alone was just perfect, you can taste the butter that made it crispy on the outside but super moist and soft on the inside. Will highly recommend this dish.

Ordered a Torta. On menu its priced at 7.99. Got a soda total was $15? Honestly that wouldnt be bad for a full lunch. The taste was great but it was half the size of a torta anywhere else. Paying $15 and still being hungry wasnt acceptable. I didnt order a childs portion.

This place is an easy choice any day. Every meal I ve had and saw others get served are excellent. The service is not slow like the menu might try to say. The owner is extremely kind and I m glad they re in town. Portions are either exactly right or enough for two meals, none are too little.

Service was very very slow- while we were there People were upset- 3 tables left poor girl working had no knowledge of menu- she did not know what plates came with- the plates were nothing like facebook pics- when we asked why the plate was different than the pic she said oh everything changed She forgot several things- but we could tell she was overwhelmed The guy at the counter was not doing anything even as he saw her struggle- they preferred to let people go. It got to the point when people were waking in they were telling them they could not serve them as they had a long wAit when there was just 3-4 tables. The food was ok, but will probably not be returning.. not sure how they stay open like this

They took a very very long time to serve food. Ordered a burger and bistek ranchero. The burger meat was so thin it was embarrassing it was more of a lettuce burger. Ordered bistek ranchero and They charged me extra for flour tortilla ($2.00) i though the plate came with tortillas all other restaurants provide them. Lemonade $ 5 dollars tamarind drink $6.00. Total $40.83. I can eat better for $40.00. I will never come back to this place

Initially excited to try this place after seeing Brownsville Online promote the restaurant on Facebook. The place was cute, clean, and spacious enough. I was greeted after an appropriate amount of time by a server, but getting water and the biscuit we ordered took longer than I would have liked. People came and went and the wait for the food was easily over an hour for the single dish of Chilaquiles. There was another table with the same complaint regarding the wait time for food. The food was good, unfortunately it was not worth the long wait.

Time for a review! I came to celebrate myself on getting a new job! I was craving a chipotle burrito with a twist. The Mexican burrito hit the spot!!!!! It s so good. The decorations are so cute and made me proud to come from a Mexican background and that there is such a place here. The songs were such goodies! The service was good as well. Attentive. The only thing is I had asked for raw onion instead of grilled onions, but I still got grilled onions. However, I would HIGHLY recommend this place. I also love how they have a jar for cooking tips! I love to see that they re okay with hearing from the people.

I ve been curious about this place and I ve been pleasantly surprised. All that we ordered was delicious. The service was friendly and helpful. I had dinner & breakfast, in that order and the plates were sufficiently served. It s a great place to come with family or friends. I recommend it. My family and I had a great experience. The staff was friendly and on point with food and services. The place was very clean. One of the cleanest restaurants I have been in and the restrooms clean clean which I loved. My kids even noticed how clean and kids can be brutally honest. My husband and I enjoyed the food it was delicious. We will definitely be repeating customers. Kid-friendliness: My kids had a blast here. The staff was very nice when my kids talked too them they all payed attention and even carried the conversation with them. They loved all the decorations and felt quite comfortable. The food for them, I can say the food was gone and I have some picky eaters. They will definitely say if they like or dont like. I was so impressed that they want too go back and cant wait too go back.

This was my first time visiting, but it wont be my last. I ordered their Ultimate burger which consisted of 3 beef patties, 3 slices of cheese and a lot of bacon and it was so delicious. It was so good that I couldnt finish it all in one sitting. I will definitely go back again some day.

This is a new place is new to me. Is new, very clean, bathrooms are clean, service is perfect . Food is ok, is good for a quick bite family friendly I had a torta and was very soggy, nachos are very basic, burger is over seasoned, rice was good . What I found kind of weird was when paying on the receipt there was a charge of $2 more Im not sure if they added themselves a tip or they charged to pay with card, so I told my husband to next time pay with cash other than that everything was good. Let me start by saying my brother in law went the night before to get food. He is a quiet person and he came excitedly saying THIS places is good. It sure is delicious. I had the Jamon torta and Bistek fries. The tamarind agua fresca has a perfect balance of flavor. I know some are a bit too tangy and cause you to make funny faces. This is new and their menu is not online yet but worth a visit. Sooooo good. We did take out and decided to go early to take a look at the menu. They are lots of things I want to try. And Im looking forward visiting again very soon. We are visiting the Valley for a family emergency and this place the moral booster we needed. This place quickly made my stomach happy. The Burritos are huge!! And super delicious bring your appetite and stretchy pants. Oh I almost forgot the Staff is super friendly and made us feel so welcomed.
