Inconspicuous. Dont let the outside fool you. Once in the door pleasant modern decor, clean, fast service and an interesting menu to popular food. Superb salads. Great breakfast and lunch options. Personable servers. Nice portions, good value.

Not only did our food take forever, the waiter forgot my coffee, added an item we didn t even request from the tab, I GOT FOOD POISONING. I ordered chilaquiles and they had chicken, the chicken was chewy but I trusted that it would be cooked all the way. Well, it turns out it wasn t! I got food poisoning, have been throwing up half a day and with horrible diarrhea. It s strange this place has such great reviews, they probably don t have enough cooks and since they wanna get the orders out as quickly as possible, they give you raw food. Welp, never again!

Nice restaurant, food was ok, however this is an establishment that will charge you a fee for payment with your credit card. There is no notification of this anywhere. The worst part is the obscure way to charge you, its label as toast fee . Overall, the last part of the lunch experience, the payment, leave a bad taste since prices are already above the expectations.

We tried this place for breakfast and it was excellent! I had the egg white, spinach, and brie omlette with potatoes. My husband had chorizo migas, which was scrambled eggs, chorizo, peppers, cheese, and chips plus refried beans and potatoes. Portions were large, and everything was delicious! Great, friendly service, too!

First time here and was excited to read Cafe de Olla on the menu. It was terrible, very bitter and tasted burnt. I ordered the huevos divorciados , eggs were cooked perfect but the beans were not the best and were flavorless. The flour tortilla was awful as if it was reheated and not a fresh one.

Started off rocky. The maitre d said 40 min and it took 1:20 to get a table. Granted we were a table of 10 but we kept on seeing people get seated before us that were slightly smaller parties. After that it was great! The waitress was on it! She was friendly and very helpful with the menu. Another little snag was that my pozole was cold. I dont send food back unless its cold. I just couldnt enjoy the cold pozole. But she fixed it right up and it was piping hot the second time around. I would absolutely go back but would not be as hungry because there will be a wait. The dessert was absolutely heavenly. Its a must have!!

I ordered a cappuccino and the milk tasted spoiled, the waitress changed it but I think this should not happen at a restaurant. The 3 white egg omelette was good, ordered the salsa ranchera on the side and it tasted good. The service was not the best, they brought our order but then they forgot to bring silverware and napkins. We waited like 5 min to get the silverware. It is a good place to eat with friends or family. I will try it one more time and check if the service gets better. Update 8/23. I returned and everything was different, the server Idalia was great. She greeted us, she was so friendly. Immediately she placed cup of waters and silverware at the table. Our order took less than 10 min. Everything tasted delicious. My cappuccino was great. I ll definitely return to eat here.

Went for brunch and I have to say it was the noisiest place ever, couldnt even hold a conversation. Sent my food back, cause my steak was raw (purple), I asked for medium rare also asked for cheese on my eggs and they forgot so I had to send back again. My water cup was dirty and had to ask for another. Coffee was delicious and so was the pork chop.

Place is beautiful and have good food. I ordered the barbacoa flautas. They were delicious. I just hoped they had less salsa since flautas are supposed to be crispy not become soggy. Maybe put the salsa on the side for dip. If they become soggy theyd be enchiladas at this point. Some parts of the barbacoa were a bit cold. It was kind of expensive to be honest for simple Mexican food.

I had breakfast for the first time at this restaurant and had a very unpleasant experience to say the least. The atmosphere is nice and clean but that is many the best part of my experience, if any. I asked for a Mexican Chocolate, and it took about 25minutes to come out to our table and had to ask and/or remind waiter 2-3 times. Our food was at room temperature. And, when we asked for Regular Butter, the response by our waiter was there is none. Then, after being told the restaurant had some the last time you came by then the waiter said, let me check and minutes later returns with Regular Butter. There was hardly any followup from our waiter and when asked for anything we needed it seemed as if he was bothered. Towards the back you could see mutiple waiters and waitresses talking among themselves and/or on their cell phones. The restaurant was not packed, as there were many empty tables. How would they feel if the roles were reversed?? I dont think they would be satisfied with the service provided or food served.

The food was good. I was actually impressed with the French toast my daughter got. The spinach omelet I got was good also. The service was a little slow but it was a full house that day. We went on a Sunday after Mass and waited 15 minutes for a table. The one downside I have to say is the noise level. Its an open concept and has a nice modern style. However, the noise level of all the people talking was rather loud. On that particular day being at full capacity, my wife and daughter could barely hear me speaking and vice versa.

First time eating here and I think my experience will be better if I would ve came for lunch instead of breakfast. My regular coffee and tortilla were cold. I ordered another side of beans for my other order and the server never brought it until after I finished my meal. The waffles were alright if you want a churro taste which I didn t expect. I thought my additional fruit charge would be a cup of fruit but it was just one sliced strawberry. Other than that, the environment is really nice and our server was kind nevertheless. The eggs and beans were good. I think it would be worth it to order a lunch plate next time.

Servers are in touch with their tables and often check to see if there needs have been met. The owner is there and he is friendly and cares about customer service. The food is excellent. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. Its unfortunate that they close so early. One thing to consider: this isnt fast food. I takes a little bit for plates to be brought out if the establishment is full.

Food was excellent! We loved all our dishes! Chicken and Waffles were on point. Menu is the usual brunch but what makes Roosters different is that the food is seasoned well, you can tell that they pay attention to minor details to make themselves stand out. For example, the potatoes in the Roosters Rancheros were seasoned exceptionally well, and not like your typical Mexican restaurant plate. Chicken from the Chicken and Waffles was fried really well and served up with a great sauce. The waffle was fluffy and exceptional as well! Chilaquiles Divorciados was 100% on the mark. Great flavor and taste. Presentation on all dishes was above and beyond. Service was a bit long but it was to be expected on the 2nd day! I m sure it will get better as they find their groove. My lowest rating goes to atmosphere. It s very loud because there s nothing on the walls to absorb sound and its hard to have conversation and order food because you have to raise your voice. I love the aesthetic however.
