This park is awesome, super clean restrooms n PLENTY of land to run wild. There is access for personal watercraft plus a spot for fishing. Playground: Yes Toilets: Exceptionally clean Dog-friendliness: Lots of room to run Picnic area: All over the place, all thats needed is a blanket n some grub.

Its a very nice park! Good for little ones to play at playground & field to play sports/games! Also restrooms close to playground. You can bring & walk your pets! They have tables & benches out there as well....great for parties!

We visited the Mexican food truck. Excellent food and a must go. Picnic area: Very nice area with giant oak tress for shade. Area for everyone to have a great time. And its right next to the water park if its summer.

Park is nice. There is a dog park as well. Nice soccer fields and basketball court. A pavilion for picnics. The restrooms could stand a little water for washing hands. I dont like public restrooms and not being able to wash afterwards is an issue. It would be nice if some facilities were closer to the play area. I think there is a walking trail too. Overall a nice park. Playground: Kid friendly with lots to choose from. Toilets: Water needs to be on to use the sinks. A need for facilities close to the play area. Dog-friendliness: A nice area for dogs to run and play. Picnic area: Covered pavilion with tables and trash cans nice place to relax and watch kids play.

Ball fields are constantly evolving and getting better every year and as well as bigger to Playground: Safe and has a lot of fun things for the kids to enjoy Toilets: Clean Dog-friendliness: Allow dogs on a leash also has a dog park next to the playground Picnic area: Plenty of tables to choose from I like the ones next to the river and fishing dock

I come here frequently because its a large area & a fun place to picnic & to walk my dogs. Dog leash laws are enforced! Several areas are fenced in and devoted to sports. Belton keeps the park well trimmed and clean. The other people using the park either for sports, picnics, or walking their dogs are small town friendly. The local police are inconspicuous but there & do a great job of keeping the park safe. Theres several well placed restrooms in park. Also, near the park entrance theres several food trucks. And in front theres an enclosed splash pool for kids to enjoy. I think this pool is a business and so probably has an entrance fee.

Water is turned off 8/25/23. It was on yesterday so hopefully this is temporary. Great dog park. Regular crew of 10-20 show up most mornings around 8 am. Dog-friendliness: Two fenced off-leash areas for dogs to play in. A few obstacles and picnic tables. Water fountain with a near ground level section for dogs to drink from.

If you re looking for a local dog park this is the one you want to go to. Lots of shade, plenty of seating and room for dogs to run around. Don t waste your time going park to park to get the feel of it like I did.. or at-least just start here first. Love this dog park!

I travel for work and am currently in Belton/Temple and this is one of my two favorite parks. Clean, friendly atmosphere. Well kept dog area. My little pup enjoys going there. Brought my nephew a few weeks ago and he enjoyed the playground. I love how outdoorsy and active the people in this area are. And how they respect their hometown parks and recreational areas.

Beautiful park. Great walking trails, and even a place to play in the river. Lots of geocaching opportunities as well if you are into that. The park is clean and has a splash pad. And there is a community center across the street.

This park consists of a playground, a dog park, a sidewalk trail, some picnic tables and in the immediate surrounding area I believe there are a few soccer and baseball fields. The playground has swings and a cable spider web thing to climb on, one multi person spinny thing and a one person spinny thing. The playground also has regular playground stuff, a multi floor thing with different ways up and different slides, what you probably think of when you hear playground. The ground near it isnt sand, wood chips or tire sheds, its like a soft ish rubber solid ground. The park is next to a river, I would estimate the playground is roughly 150-200ft from it. People do occasionally fish over there but usually further down so I would not worry about it. When I was younger I loved to go here and play with my siblings.

This is a great park for all ages and multiple activities. There are a couple small playgrounds, dog park area, basketball court, baseball fields, soccer fields, walking/biking path, connected to a disc course, has a fishing deck and is close to a frosti dessert shop. It is very disappointing to use the bathroom near the soccer fields, they are very neglected.

There is a height chart by the entrance and if the child is up to the line they are charged as adults. I think it was 48 inches but our kids were right at the line and there are no exceptions. Other than that, the water park was fun. The lazy river was great but the main pool filtration system did not seem to catch everything. The inside corners of the pool had oil sludge floating everywhere. The slides were awesome and we will be going back. I can recommend this place as a nice place to visit during the summer. They do have military discounts but you have to get the tickets in advance from the nearby military post and the tickets are only valid for certain days.
