I came in for lunch and ate. It was easily one of the worst and least attentive experiences i ve had. If you want bad service, this is the spot. Several issues. Food was decent though. There are clear changes that need to be made. I personally will not be coming back to this location. Other locations have been great.

Great place to eat, service was fantastic. But the door to the bathroom had a lot of greasy spots that should be cleaned daily. The lady s door didn t have much of a light over it so I couldn t see how bad that door was, I just didn t want to touch either door coming in or going out. All doors should be clean on both sides just like the front door right! Unfortunately I saw the dirty doors after I eat so I m sure they have more things that could be cleaner but I didn t notice them.

Decent food at reasonable prices. Limited parking which was a bit frustrating. Too many carry out / pick up parking which none were in use and not enough dining in parking. Parking: There are limited number of parking spaces and on my visit I had to park in one of the parking spaces designated to carry out / pick up parking. I think they should reduce the number of carry out / pick up parking to accommodate people dining in.

Great tasting food, and service is excellent! I mean, when the manager knows you by name, and youre eating your burger under nostalgic but upbeat music (ok, maybe Air Supply doesnt fit that description!), its like drive-in heaven without the vehicle exhaust. (Spoiler alert: You will be more than thankful theyre a walk-in restaurant.) Kudos! UPDATE: Sometimes their attention to customer requests is sorely lacking.

Our burgers were delicious!! I got the Big Tex with added garlic mushrooms and my husband got the Western. We both agreed it was worth it!! It was a bit chilly inside, so we sat near the window, they get great evening sun near the bar area, so I didnt need a jacket which is nice to not have to carry around. I hate visiting bathrooms in restaurants, but I needed to wash my hands and I must say I was impressed that it didnt have a bad smell and it felt quite clean! Friendly service, great food and great music! Overall great choice for a Tuesday night dinner!!

Edited: Came in to pick up a order had to wait for the employees to finish their discussion Before I could get my food. Then get home and realize that missing some. What great service? And that is a joke. Then the fried cheese was fried breading as it was over cooked so there was no cheese. Waited for over 2 weeks and no response from management after calling to complain the same day. So if you can t care about the guest experience why should you still be in business!

This place has the best burger patties I have ever tried in Texas. My partner, my dog and I always go there whenever we go to the Bedford dog park and I like that we can sit outside with plenty of shade with our dog. Im very picky about the bread of most burgers because in other places the bread is saggy and tastes like air to me and that is why I always get protein still burgers but not at Twisted Root Burger Co. Because I love their bread and the patties are so tasty and 100% beef. I rarely eat burgers somewhere else, but I will always recommend this place for real burgers!

I am allergic to pork and alot of hamburger patties have pork. We love the different meat options they have cant wait to go back to try the other meat patties. The only thing we didnt like was the cheese fries to dry and they just put shredded coby cheese on it. The pickles in the barrels where a hit. Other thing I didnt like was having to pay $2 extra for a gluten free bun that broke into piece as soon as I try to take my first bite.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is really fun! Curbside spots labeled for Chewbacca, Beyoncé and Chuck Norris, and likewise each customer s order is by some fun name, too. Sat out on the patio with our dog and it was well shaded, good decor and the staff came out with a fresh bowl of water for our pup, too. Best of all the food! Delicious and entertainingly named, our burgers had good flavor and kiddos enjoyed their chicken. Fries may not have come with the meal, but Truly this was a good value and time for a family to relax and enjoy good food, good company and good fun on a summer day. Look forward to returning.

Went today with my little sister for my first time because she loves one of their Burgers here. Felt bad for her though because for a place that she was trying to show off was absolutely terrible today! I only order friend pickles and they took about 30 minutes to come out. She ordered the Burger which took about 45 minutes to come out. The parking was horrible, ended up having to park at another business and walk over. Both times that we walked up to the front to find out what was taking so long we were ignored, (seeing as we went up separately at different times). As a burger place I love coming here. Whenever me and my coworker are craving it. Love the jam burger that is my ultimate favorite. Very filling. The only thing was once we ordered online so that way our service would have been faster to grab and go. They gave our food away to someone else. And that of course caused us to wait for the food, but there was no incentive given for the mistake while we waited for something that was given away. Like some free fries would have made someone s day for waiting an extra 20 minutes when they had to clock back in due to a staff mistake.

Now at first sight the presentation was great. Felt like a legit burger spot. No one actively attends the bar which presents a problem for me. So after a few minutes Hayden comes over and ask for my drink and I ordered a Makers Neat. The drink was ok. I order the millionaire and when I received it, the look was great!!. Unfortunately as I started to dig into my meal, the onion rings were cold and my fries as well. This was after I was sold on getting them because they were Fresh cut. Halfway through my meal I look over a see Hayden my bartender gloved up and eating food out of a serving tray and spiting it on the floor. I began to study the sanitation of the kitchen from the bar. Extremely unsanitary. I closed my ticket and crossed my fingers that I dont have food poisoning. I told him that my food was cold and he wanted to offer me more. The burgers here are freaking amazing!!!!! I did not care for their fries. They are punched fries and they have no flavor and are not crispy. I personally like crispy fries, so to each their own. We got the sampler of munchies and they were pretty good. Breading could use a tad more seasonings, but I would be happy to eat here again and I have been telling friends to go eat there. They also have barrels of different pickles...all you can eat. Bread & Butter, Dill, Ranch, Sweet and Spicy and Atomic. I might have missed one. Highly recommend this place.

Surprisingly bad burger. I ve had Twisted Root a number of times over the last 15 years but it s been a while. Ordered to go and picked up on the way home just now. First, it was ready about 10-15 minutes after we were told. The fried pickles were the thing we had to wait for, which ironically, was the only really good thing about the meal. My wife s burger was pretty good, but my burger and the fries felt and tasted like they had been sitting a while. The fries weren t not crispy. The real disappointment was the burger. I could ve forgiven all of this if the burger was good. But it was SO dry. The burger looked medium well, but tasted well-done. No flavor. No moisture. I had to add like 7 fried pickles and mustard out of my fridge to make it fine. I honestly can t remember the last time I threw away food. I tossed about half. Really disappointed in the food and service. It may have been better had we not waited the extra time.

So disappointed. I moved away from the DFW (Roanoke) area about 10 years ago and this is one of the places I ve bragged about to my coworkers. The staff was friendly and courteous. They took our order and explained the system to pick up our food. We got Willie Nelson. This is such a smart idea as you do not have to fumble around trying to spell and pronounce the guests name correctly. The classic was delicious, hot, fresh, and a good value. My wife had a kids cheeseburger, and it was still more than she could eat. The fries were hot and crispy. The diet soda was terrible, and I will not order it again. The light was out over our booth, and the cleaning was not up to par. We enjoyed our visit and were surprised to find this location. Came here and ended up getting a to-go order of the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and fries. Food was terrible. The fries were burnt. The chicken was also burnt and had no flavor. Perhaps I should have gotten a burger instead, but the chicken and fries were extremely underwhelming and disappointing. So sad I spent my money on it.

Went to celebrate a family birthday. Atmosphere was fun and exciting. There were families and fun music, even a trivia question in which to win a root beer float. There was only 1 real dedicated worker that came back and forth from the kitchen to do most everything while 3 others behind the counter ignored me and others waiting. That was the most frustrating part. The carbonated drink machine needs a new/ better filter because all drinks had a background taste which was not fresh. Food was OK and there are lots of interesting choices but burgers are at least $9+ with NO SIDES! Sides are OK, fries a tad soggy but generous with cheese and bacon and jalapeños. Busboy kind and helpful. In summary, food tastes good, portion sizes are just OK, prices are not matching food value. The experience could have been top notch except for the 3 employees that ignored us all at the counter. We enjoyed the food in general . Kudos to the 1 employee that worked kitchen , counter and service! Kid-friendliness: Very small menu for kids but I suppose they can eat pickles!

Met family for a bday celebration and the atmosphere was fun. The prices were OK. The burgers do not come with ANY side and the average burger is $10+. Sides are average. The drinks are small and the drink machine offers a fair share of options BUT the water filtration system is poor. All carbonated beverages have that city-water taste. I walked up to the counter to ask for a take home container and 3 employees straight up pretended I didnt exist. I tried to talk to them but they just kept on talking about containers or something under the very place I was standing without acknowledging me. So, I said excuse me to a 3rd employee but she was also too busy picking onions out of a silver tray to give me a notice. Yes, they all saw me but it apparently wasnt their job. Finally, a helpful woman from the kitchen BEHIND 2 counters asks what she can help me with and simply takes 4 seconds to hand me a container. All in all, best parts are the fun atmosphere, the same 1 employee that helps everyone, food choices are fun but prices wont win value contests and sodas are not good. 3 stars and 2 go to that 1 employee that actually cared. Parking: Not a lot of parking unless you take a designated spot.

So I will say the burger tasted great, a bit much on the seasoning for the fries and fried green beans, but This place gave me SEVERE food poisoning. I have been throwing up non stop and other gross things since eating here. I was so excited to try it here looking at all the reviews. Never again. I know it was here because my child that took a bite of my food is also sick now to. The staff werent mean, but they didnt care to be there or talk either. Just an update I did email them and never got a response, so just beware if you have an issue it wont get resolved.

i am sooo disappointed. got a burger and chocolate shake a few weeks ago. they were fantastic. my girl friend was going to bring me a repeat . . . except no shakes. i know things break down but i was sooo bummed i will never get anything from them again.

Good variety of burgers all of which are very good! Fries are crispy, flavorful and among my favorites. This location has a big patio with plenty of space. Parking: Parking lot is kind of small. When we went, there was literally 1 space left
