The french toast was pretty good, but that s where it ended. Their drinking water had so much chlorine they re either using straight tap water or stealing it from the nearest hotel pool. The hash brown casserole was just soggy undercooked hash browns with cheese on top. The fried potatoes are NOT your mama s skillet fried potatoes with onions, these were cubed and deep fried, they re french fries at best. They either don t warm their plates or they sit out too long, my over medium eggs were very cold. Old west used to be pretty good back in the day but quality has noticeably slid over time.

Went for breakfast on a Saturday morn. Service was great. When the order came the eggs were underdone. She took the plate and brought back after a bit. Now the eggs were a little overdone and the burned the hash browns. If we go back, it will be a while. Overpriced for fair food. We went on a Sunday morning and considering there was a lot of people who were eating there after their church service was over, there was no wait to be seated and the food service was quick. I had an omelet which was really good and the prices were very reasonable. Our waitress was great, we never had to wait when we needed something and she checked on us often. I had my 9 month old grandson with us, he sat in a high chair that was clean and I didnt feel as though I needed to wipe it down before he sat in the chair. I would definitely come here again when I am in the area.

Wonderful food, worth stopping by for the menu, but horrible service. We had to wait for at least fifteen minutes for our server to check us out and I was watching her stand in the doorway to the kitchen talking and eating after telling us she would be right back with the check. We were there for an hour and almost a third of it was just waiting for our check and a refill of an orange juice. Also, we weren t the only table waiting, our server had another table that was also looking around for her and waiting next to us. I would come back again, but if I got the same server, I wouldn t stay.

I don t put reviews that much on google. But this time I have to. I went in there on my work lunch break. I was working in the hot sun. The waitress could see I was thirsty. She brought us 2 waters and made sure our drinks were filled constantly. And food came out in a timely manner. I had the omelet. It was absolutely spectacular. The bacon was cooked just right. Not too chewy not too crispy right in that sweet spot. Egg were real eggs not the powered kind. They use real ingredients. I love the atmosphere, Love the food and love the service and I don t put reviews that much. You just can t find service like this anymore. I m mean they know how to serve. 11/10 service, food, atmosphere.

This location discriminates certain employees one can call in every other day named Danny and Colby and my daughter has to take all his shifts so yes she called him lazy that is a personal opinion and not ground for dismissal... She got fired for taking vacay that they allowed her and then fired her bc it was too long and shes 7 months pregnant..no warning or anything its bc its coming close..Curtis stated it was him and Bill that made the decision...they have no morals or care about people personally... This is a young lady that goes over and beyond shows up early stays late takes everyones shifts.. She has the right to say someone is lazy if she is doing her work and theirs.. But the lazy person still has a job .. This is discrimination.. And when I asked for Curtis the manager he thinks he covered the phone but I heard what you Said.... This management needs to be questioned... My family and I will never eat here again...Bill u need a new manager.. boycott this place for equal rights

A horriblly rude girl with an unnecessary attitude over the phone kept speaking over me as if I didnt know what I was doing, I didnt think much of it till I arrived to pick it up and apparently got the same girl. A large girl with a bad bleach job just stood there on her phone, as I was clearing my throat to get her attention. She kept rolling her eyes as if I was making her go out of her way to doing her job. I love going here but that girl was terrible and very rude.

Whoever cooks on Tuesdays sucks SO BAD. The first time we came it was on a Saturday and the quality of food and service were stellar. Came in today and had so many issues. Waitress was not attentive at all. My husband had to get out of his chair to get her attention while they were on their phones up at the hostess station like what happened to good service in the food industry..? The food was so bad and tasteless today. My husbands hashbrowns were undercooked like raw potatoe, rubbery frozen biscuits and packet gravy that had no sausage in it. Bacon was cooked 3 different ways and cold almost like microwaved. My breakfast tacos were tasteless and overcooked. Completely different from the first experience. I got a blueberry pancake as my side and it was 15 mins after receiving our food I still had no gotten my pancake. I had to ask for it and they said they were understaffed in the kitchen and that it takes a while because its thick? Like what? Then when they brought it out they just threw a couple blueberries on top..? Huh? Is this how yall normally make pancakes or was this on purpose? Either way I felt so insulted lol not even a dollop of whip cream? Thats laughable. I couldve gotten better at IHOP and thats saying alot. Then they didnt even bring me syrup I had to ask for that too!! NEVER EVER COMING BACK HERE. WASTE OF MONEY!!!

Meat options are pretty much just sausage and pork products (neither of which I eat) or chicken, but the omelette I got with chicken was yummy. The entire restaurant is echoey because of high ceilings, causing it to become very loud, which is not good for people with auditory sensitivity or people who are hard of hearing. I liked the funny little signs they had hanging up everywhere, though, and probably would have enjoyed it more if it wasnt so loud in there.

As someone who values good service and satisfying meals, I entered Old West Cafe on a busy Saturday morning with high hopes. However, the experience quickly devolved into a sensory overload nightmare. The deafening noise level, lacking any sound dampening measures, made conversation nearly impossible without shouting. Steer clear if youre sensitive to loud environments. The restaurants decor, straight out of Hobby Lobby, features generic western-themed decorations covering every inch of the walls. While some might find this charming, I found it over-the-top and inauthentic. The single-sheet menu haphazardly lists entrees and sides on opposite sides, making deciphering a challenge. Despite being May 4th, the Christmas holiday menu, taunting with unavailable items, was still displayed. The old west and cowboy-referenced dish names confused more than they clevered. I ordered the Cattle Driver, an eggs Benedict with grilled tomato, and a side of fried potatoes. The potatoes were decently seasoned, but the eggs were so bland that I repeatedly reached for the salt and pepper shakers. At $14.99, I expected more flavor for the price. If youre seeking a spot to bring your dietary-restricted grandparents preferring tasteless food, this might be it. Adding insult to injury, the service was subpar. We had to ask for silverware after our food arrived, and the staff failed to split the bill correctly when it came time to pay, causing unnecessary confusion and delays. In summary, Old West Cafe disappointed on all fronts. The sensory overload, kitschy decor, confusing menu, bland food, and poor service left me feeling like I had wasted my time and money. As someone valuing a good dining experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone, except perhaps those with dietary restrictions not minding mediocre food and lackluster service. Save yourself the trouble and seek better options elsewhere. Kid-friendliness: Kids with sensitive palates will love the bland food.

The food and the portions are always pretty good here. The food prices are starting to rise just like most places. One omelette will set you back 15 to 18 dollars. The main issue at this restaurant is, it is extremely loud inside. Several times I tried to capture the attention of a passing server, and they could not hear me. It s loud inside, then as you exit the restaurant you hear HWY 121 and they are equal! It s a very busy restaurant with good food, but if you want a calm, quiet, cozy place to relax and have an intimate conversation over coffee, this may not be the place for you. If you are a local, you know that this small business is a wonderful hidden treasure in the mid cities. They re only open a few days a week yet there s always a wait or line out the door, but I m telling you it s absolutely worth it. Staff is always so kind always checking making sure everything came out correctly. If you were breakfast or brunch, this is definitely the place for you.

There is a wait every time. The food is that good. I go for breakfast, and always get pancakes. Somehow I forget each time that the cakes are the size of the plate, HUGE. Kid-friendliness: The last time I was there, a Dad was with his son. Saw them outside while waiting for the table. The son had a shaker with him. When I was leaving, I saw the son shaking colorful sprinkles on his pancakes. Great job decorating those cakes!

The place has a nice slightly old world vibe and charm to it. Food is average, but the service and ambience sort of makes up for it. It is cafe meets southern food and hospitality. The biscuit and gravy disappointed though.

If you are a fan of breakfast, you would be hard-pressed to find a breakfast spot that offered as much variety on the menu as Old West. Not only do they serve pretty much anything you could imagine eating for breakfast, its also really good and really fast, with a very courteous staff. My personal recommendation? Blueberry pancakes. Yum!

Great atmosphere, service, and a place that makes you feel like your in the old west. I bring my own condiments (heavy cream) but they have half and half and the vanilla/hazel nut flavors for your coffee. They got pancakes the size of Jupiter and some great sides to choose from. The bathroom is clean, the entire restaurant is at a great temperature, and it s a wonderful place to catch up with family and friends! Kids love going.

This place is PERFECT. Huge, delicious menu, and great portion sizes. I ordered the veggie omelette with a hashbrown casserole and a cinnamon roll and was beyond pleased. There was no wait to be seated, the restaurant was clean, and excellent music was playing! 100% recommend this place. Hey, you! Stop reading this and drive there already, y all!! Vegetarian options: Veggie omelettes, waffles/pancakes/toast/biscuits, potatoes, fruit, yogurt, eggs, etc. Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly, with a kids menu and family atmosphere

We have been going to Old West Cafe in Bedford for years now. Love love love the southern inviting atmosphere. The highlight of my breakfast was the mouthwatering stuffed French toast unquestionably the best Ive ever tasted. Their customer service always adds to the overall enjoyable dining experience. The staff are pretty friendly. Old West Cafe is a must-visit for those who want a southern breakfast.

Breakfast and service were both on point. Love the ambience, has a very Texan feel. The cheesecake french toast were to die for. No more IHOP since we found this place. Prices are good and proportions are even better. Must try!

Oldwest Cafe of Bedford is SO good. It is an unassuming spot that at first glance makes you want to ask if people REALLY eat there.. but the packed parking lot will confirm that question with a resounding yes! Dont cheat yourself, treat yourself! Check them out!! The food was well seasoned, flavorful, and plentiful. We definitely had to go boxes. The staff is SO nice and helpful with smiles. Its not the I didnt want to come to work today vibes offered at restaurants. These people actually look as if they enjoy working with one another. It makes a difference and that difference shows in their service. Top notch! Dont let the initial appearance fool you. Step in & let your taste buds do a happy dance. You wont regret it.

We waited more than 10 minutes this morning for someone to even acknowledge us and see if we had been helped, and then had to wait for our server to bring us OJ and a cup of coffee. When the WHITE coffee cup was brought to the table, it was smeared with pink lipstick from whoever had used it last. When we asked to speak to a manager, it took another 10-12 minutes before the manager showed up to our table, as we were leaving. There were ample people working, but no one seemed to be interested in earning tips or our patronage.
