If I could give this place a 0 I definitely would. My husband and my self normally do online orders and decided to sit in tonight. We had to wait for a table to get cleaned which was no problem. However in come 3 younger kids they sat them down immediately not giving us an explanation. We decided to leave and the host tells us were getting your table together. However the table they had cleared left after the table that was suppose to had been cleared for us. Called to speak to a manager which I found out later she is the owner. She felt it wasnt a big deal pretty much being dismissive of our concerns. I never try to look at things to be of racial target but I felt that way tonight. If the place was packed and slammed I could see the oversight. But we literally were the only ppl sitting waiting and u decided to look over us to seat someone. I want EVER give this place a dime of my money again. Is she wasnt so dismissive I would have felt better but dont dismiss ur customer feelings!!!

We always have such a pleasant time at sweet basil we love love the hot mess fries and the pho. We ve had pretty bad luck trying different items last time the fried rice was so mushy. Unfortunately my mom had got it and didn t say anything towards the end. Now we just stick to what we love and it never misses.

This establishment is one of the best in Beaumont! I eat here regularly with my family and my friends. If you are a person who is GLUTEN FREE this is the establishment for you! They have SO MANY gluten free meal options, Gluten free soy sauce & gluten free Sriracha sauce! The staff is always super friendly and helpful. The place is always clean and organized. The food here is AMAZING. I particularly enjoy the fresh spring rolls & the meatball pho! Dietary restrictions: Great place to go if you are Gluten free! We stopped by for lunch and had a very taste meal. We had the vegetable noodles (mine with chicken and my wife had the pork) and they were delicious. They were a bowl of egg noodles with cabbage, carrots, onions, bok choy, and chicken (for protein) with a slightly sweet sauce that was especially favorful. I understand their Pho has the best broth and is also worth another visit. The atmosphere is good with plenty of tables and servers to provide excellent customer service. Cant wait to go back.

Great place, service was wonderful. I wasnt feeling the price of the to go drink and it was non alcoholic. They have a strawberry tea, its really good but to get a cup to go it was almost 8$. Thats insane. Ill enjoy it while I dine in every time. Other than that its a really nice spot.

So I finally got around to trying this spot. Its been on my radar to try for a long time now. I took my 2 boys, and we decided while out in bmt to finally try it. Soooo glad we did. We started off with the vegan crunch rolls. Delicious. Perfect crunch to them. The little one got a Ramen noodle bowl with shrimp and sweet corn. He devoured it down. My teen got the salmon plate, he cleaned the entire plate. I had the drunken chicken. So very delicious. No complaints what So ever. We got some of the beniget donuts to go and wow amazing. My only complaint is not trying this place sooner!! Staff was delightful and restaurant was nice and clean

I have come to sweet basil over the years plenty of times. Evert time I have had a good experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food is excellent. Great Food, Lackluster Service Sweet Basil consistently delivers amazing food that keeps us coming back, but unfortunately, our recent visit left us with mixed feelings. The culinary experience was, as always, exceptional. However, we were disappointed with the hostesss lack of greeting and apparent disinterest when we spoke to her last Sunday she didnt even reply or acknowledge us. Despite our love for the food, the initial interaction with the hostess fell short. A warm welcome would enhance the overall dining experience and match the high quality of the cuisine instead of a sour look on her face like she would rather be somewhere else.. We hope to see an improvement in the hostesss customer service in the future and at least welcome the guests with a hello.

Had dinner at Sweet Basil while visiting with family in Beaumont. The food was excellent and the flavors were fabulous. The staff seemed to struggle with seating as almost every table that has six seats only had two people eating at the table while tables with four seats were empty. Our party of five had to wait quite a while for a party of two to finish eating and leave while tables with four seats sat empty. The service was good and the staff were warm and friendly. The. Hot Mess Fries were crazy good. One person had the Sweet Banh Bao w/pork belly and really enjoyed the dish. The Drunken Chicken was very good. The F.O.B Shrimp with Honey Walnut Sauce was excellent. The Rice Bowl w/chicken was wonderful. And the Spicy Hue soup had the most AMAZING and delicious flavors. It is just a bit spicy but explodes with flavors. We can t wait to come back and try some more dishes on the menu. Highly recommended.

Sweet Basil Vietnamese Noodle House serves more than just noodles. We went there for dinner and the items we ordered were of great quality. The fire roasted pepper sauce for the wings was truly unique and amazing. The dumplings were fresh and flavorful. My girlfriend said that the koko short ribs was one of the best she has ever tried. Just cooked to perfection. The claypot shrimp was another unique dish and quite delicious. The fresh beignet balls was the perfect way to finish up our dinner. The service here was excellent. Our server was attentive, diligent, and caring. He was extraordinary. The ambiance is nice with high ceilings and cool artwork. Would definitely recommend.

I took my 4 kids here after we did a bit of shopping. We all loved everything. It is a bit pricey, but it is so worth it. Their presentation is beautiful. The service was great. The food was absolutely amazing, the atmosphere was great when we first walked in. However our waiter Miguel ignored us majority of the time. We walked in before 2 tables and he came to us last. I had to keep looking over at him. Then after we ordered our starters the table next to us ordered their starters and hot their food before we could even place our orders in which I had to look over at him once again. After our orders came out in which they had a runner bring it to the table. He stopped by maybe once to to see if everything came out. After that we never saw him at our table again. Finally when we sat there once again I had to look over because we were waiting for the check and containers. Finally he came over I wanted to make sure he knew everything we needed because he would go missing again and yet he still stopped at another table to see if they needed anything. He went and refilled that table s drink while we once again had to wait. And finally he brings the check and wanted to be friendly for the tip. Now here s my issue I use to be a waitress so when I go into restaurants there is a caliber of serves I expect because you have to earn your tip. I started to leave a written tip but instead I left him a monetary tip but on a $100 tip I left him $10 out of kindness but he did not deserve anything because the service was lacking to the 100th power. The restaurant has an open atmosphere when you walk in. No privacy nooks. The egg roles had much batter and were over cooked. The waiters were not attentive. I ordered to go at the bar. They said a 20 minute wait but it was more like a 40 minute wait. The best dish ordered was the com bo nuong/marinated rib-eye rice bowl. The meat was well seasoned, and nuoc cham/fish sauce complemented it well. Everything else was ok. The pan-fried dumplings (menu stated pan-fried but it looked completely fried) were too greasy, Koko short ribs were too sweet, and the pho was a little bland. I saw a few tables eating boiled crawfish but I didnt see it on the menu. Service was good. Kudos to yall for a clean, spacious restaurant, including the restroom with a baby changing table. Its not often that you visit a clean Vietnamese restaurant. Vegetarian options: Theres a vegetarian section on the menu.

Sweet Basil definitely is a great place to go. I would say one of the better Vietnamese restaurants in the area. If you go, you must try the Pho-natic pho, the Sweet Basil Special fried rice, and the dumplings. Dining in is always a good experience except that its a smaller restaurant with minimal seating options. Calling for take out can be taxing. Their phone is often busy. But overall a really good experience.

Sweet Basil Vietnamese is one of my favorite restaurants to visit . I always have an enjoyable experience whenever I come here. One of my go-to dishes is definitely the hot mess fries they are always fantastic! I also highly suggest trying their pork chop and drunken chicken entrees, which happen to be my personal favorites. Ive had the seafood ramen, beef pho, and their crawfish spice level 2. I love the ramen, it had shrimp, lobster, scallops, corn, spinach and eggs. The ramen was full of flavor. The pho was okay, Im not a big fan maybe its not for me. Their crawfish os DELICIOUS! Dare I say they have the best flavored crawfish I have ever had. It was lemon citrus tasting with a hint of garlic and the spice was perfect at level 2. Not too spicy but still had heat. The crawfish was also cooked to perfection I didnt have to fight the shell to get the meat out of the tail.

Had some vegetarian pho, a banh mi and spring rolls. The food was good and worth the price, the staff were polite and patient, and the bathroom was clean. The fries that came with the banh mi were perfectly crispy and I would come back here for them alone. The only downside is there is a club right next door and the music is loud enough that you can feel it through the walls, however that is not Sweet Basils fault so I cant hold it against them. The food is absolutely pho-nominal! The hot mess fries are amazing! I plan on looking up a copy cat recipe My husband got the seafood pho, which he enjoyed very much. And I got the Bo Hue, which was advertised as spicy but, it really wasnt until I added sriracha to it. But it was still amazing. I dont think Ive ever finished a full bowl of pho before. But I ended up eating all of this amazing soup. We also ordered the hazelnut filled beignets which were really good, and upon eating one my husband immediately knew how to make them. In short the food is amazing, its a small but nice restaurant, and the bar next door is SUPER loud. The prices are more than reasonable. 1 appitizer, 2 soups and 1 desert not including a tip was under $50. Would definitely recommend. Im already thinking about what Im going to try on the next visit!

This was my first time here and I give the pho a 10 out of 10! I usually add a lot of hoisin sauce and sriracha sauce to pho, but the broth was so good I didnt have to. One suggestion for the pho is cook the oxtail longer so the meat is tender, the oxtail was tough. The ramen was not too good I wouldnt order it again.

Miss Anna was by far the best waitress Ive met in Beaumont. Fast and attentive. Food was prepared within 30 minutes of sitting down. Taste was out of this world good. The light char on the shrimp, lip smaking. Its hard for me to give a 5 star. But they truly deserve it. The bathrooms are clean, smell amazing, in house was clean. As soon as a table left, they wiped, cleaned, and sanitized. Everything there was as a restaurant should be. Worth every dollar. Go and check this place out, and if miss Anna is there, ask for her. Vegetarian options: They have a whole section for vegetarian. Dietary restrictions: You are welcome to substitute any item on the menu. Parking: Its a strip mall. Went to this place for the first time, wanted to try their seafood. So ordered the boiled seafood shebang, it was $60.00 for 9 shrimps and one crableg!! The flavor was alright, was expecting better. But WOWWWWthe price for that platter is a rip-off!! Never coming back!! We ordered bunch of other items too, the food was so so!! PROLLY WE CAN TRY AND ORDER AT ANY CAJUN SEAFOOD RESTAURANT AND GET THE SAME FOOD FOR QUARTER THAT COST!!

Worst food in two states! We often travel between TX and LA and stop everywhere along I-10. This was the worst overpriced food encountered in either state, by far! You would think with the high prices that quality food would be served, but you would be wrong. The chicken tasted old, over cooked, and bland. The shaken beef was barely acceptable, but at that price Wagyu Beef should had melted in your mouth. Skip this place and have a higher quality meal at McDonalds, or if you want to splurge and get better quality chicken go to Chick-Fil-A. I wish I was an orangutan so I could give this place 4 thumbs down.

Food is amazing. We visit once a week for about the past year and have never been disappointed with the food. It is always clean and well kept. Missing a star...host/hostess seem bothered and dont smile when they greet/seat you-but that doesnt stop us from visiting. In fact, other employees like Henry and Anna make up for that.

3rd time Ive been here, I absolutely love Ramen Bars so Im a little biased in this regard, so Ive decided to rate it finally because I took my wife and 2 nephews out here recently and they absolutely loved it, every bit of it, and the funny thing is that my wife doesnt even like ramen, but I find her occasionally asking to go back. Let me tell you, the portions are massive, you can get double noodle, and your choice of meat. My only complaint is that they dont have roast duck as a meat for their ramen bowls. Other than that, this place is best ramen bar in Beaumont. Probably going to go there again today.
