Took our son here for his 21st birthday and it was good. The shrimp cocktail, range rattlers, and fried pickles and peppers were all excellent. My wife had the sirloin, and my son and I had ribeyes. They were all cooked perfectly but could have used a little more salt and were a bit tough. This is expected as Saltgrass uses grass fed beef, but not my favorite. The service was poor, but not necessarily the servers fault. After being seated, it took about 10 minutes and mentioning to the host that nobody had come by before the server arrived. Service during the meal was almost nonexistent as we went most of the meal with empty glasses. The host said the long wait at the beginning was her fault due to her not telling the server she had a table. The servers section was on the other side of the restaurant so dont fully blame her for the poor service. The server had a stellar personality. I am surprised the manager never came by to apologize for our long wait or to check on us. If he had, he would have noticed our drinks and been able to do something about it.

This was one of the better salt grass steak places in Beaumont. It was clean and wait staff werent unkempt and disgruntled. The music was great, however it was a bit too loud for my taste. I felt like I was at a country bar...If its too loud then Im too old! Lol. Waitress was attentive enough. Tbh, I cook a better steak but we were taking father in law out for birthday...but food was edible. Oh we went for lunch but had to get dinner portions because lunch menu only offered M-F...

Had a large group of family and friends in the private room at saltgrass to celebrate my mom s birthday and we had the best time. The room was set up nicely and the servers were organized, pleasant, and attentive. Big shoutout to Clarissa, the manager who was so helpful when I set up the reservation and walked me through my many questions and Jose, the server at our table. Both were so patient and made the experience so enjoyable!

We love Salt Grass! The atmosphere, food, and staff are always on point! My salad with shrimp was so delicious! My DIL got the Salmon and it was cooked to perfection. All the managers look like they really enjoy their job! Matt stopped by the table & made sure my salad came out the way I ordered it. We will definitely be back !

I love coming back to Boumont , to the Saltgrass. The service is always great. Tonight we have Jose as our server, he s doing an awesome job! I love how I walk into a Saltgrass and see hostess waiting at the door..Payton and Drew another server was graciously, waiting with a smile. Brandon is the Manager I ve met him at another Saltgrass before he s always willing to help and awesome to his staff.. I also want to say that Eric, which is a server and now trains servers, he sees me and my husband walk in and he always comes give us a hug. Awesome worker and has been there for years! I m so so happy that this Saltgrass still has the bacon wrapped quail!! It s my favorite! Thanks Saltgrass for always making our experience here awesome! Wheelchair accessibility: Big area to wheel equipment in are wheelchairs they definitely thought that one through!!

I recently had a fantastic date night at Salt Grass Steakhouse in Beaumont, Texas. The atmosphere was perfect for a romantic evening, and the steak was cooked to perfection. Our meal was wonderfully complemented by the outstanding cheesecake for dessert. The staff was attentive and made our experience truly memorable. My husband and daughter had steak and bakes potato. Over cooked my husband steak but replaced it and it was delicious. I ordered crab cakes and a wedge salad. The cakea were okay. 3 out of 10. Ive had way better. Overall we like Saltgrass.

If I could have leaven no stars that s how I would have started this. Manager literally sitting on her phone the other ones walking around talking with employees that need to be tending to the customers or kitchen. About the food... My wife ordered the Grilled Salmon Salad and was greeted with a bed of lettuce that had clearly seen better days. It was the color of a forgotten dollar bill in a dusty attic. My son, a hamburger enthusiast, received a patty that could have doubled as a hockey puck. It was so overcooked, Im surprised it didnt come with a side of dental floss. And the grand finale? My Chopped Beef Steak arrived rarer than a unicorn sighting. Im all for a good steak, but this one was practically mooing. Saltgrass, I expected a steakhouse experience, not a culinary episode of Fear Factor. Please, do better. For the sake of your customers, and your poor waitress.

Everything was exceptional during my visit! The service is always prompt and friendly, the food is delicious, and the restaurant is clean. I started off with the bacon wrapped quail it was perfectly cooked and the presentation was great. My 6oz filet was cooked to a perfect medium rare and my side of brussel sprouts are always my favorite. Finished with my favorite cocktail, the espresso martini, so glad they have it on the menu! Eric provided excellent service as always and the manager Morgan stopped by to check on us and was very friendly. Ps please bring back the fondue

I don t even know where to start The only thing that comes to mind is heaven on earth. I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more just to be the man than walks a 1,000 miles to fall down at their door. The only thing better than their food is their service and management staff. Eric and Stacy have been working there since I ve been coming and have become like family. My family will never stop eating here even after I m gone or I will haunt them. I usually love Saltgrass and I am always satisfied but I recently had the worst experience. I bought a gift card online for $160 to take my daughter out for her birthday and was not able to redeem it. We didnt find this out until after we ate and customer service didnt do anything. We had to pay for our dinner and still dont have the money for the gift card. Very disappointing.

When I declined the $25 offer while trying to navigate the menu yesterday, the waitress kept the script going, as if i should change my mind then and there, in a public setting. I felt like i was some schlep at a car sales lot. To further this dissappointing lunch, the physical order slip and the pos entry went missing (?). We ordered medium & medium rare to begin with and (bc the order was pushed?) got pretty rare entrees which isnt pretty. To further some more, the waitress insisted, in a public setting, there was mango glaze on my brussels sprouts, which there wasnt. I can assure you there was not. This treatment in public is wretched. I wanted all my money back but we couldnt wait as we barely made it home after driving the day.

Ordered a chopped steak and was served raw hamburger. Sent it back and they recooked it and sent a mangled hunk of dog food looking stuff on a plate. Manager seemed to think it was okay. Horrible waitress. She dropped so much food. Asked for no butter on the steak. Got butter on the steak. She s very loud and talks down to customers. Just heard her talking to a senior citizen like a child telling them she has never heard of a salad with lemon or chives. The rude way she said it to the poor lady was degrading. This lady should not be a waitress or work in the public at all! The way she talked down to us for not wanting the butter on the steak made me want to leave right then. She hates life, hates her job I don t know but she s the worst! I finished my meal 24 minutes before they brought back my husband s meal. Now I remember why we never come here anymore. My husband and myself went to eat there today. The food was good, but across from us was a family with a dog at the table. We witnessed one of the staff go to the back and get a bowl from this establishment and bring the bowl with water in it for the dog to drink. I will NEVER eat here again. I DO NOT want to eat out of something that an animal has used to eat or drink out of. To each his own, but that is disgusting to me. NEVER AGAIN. Ugh

We made reservations and went for dinner on Christmas. Our server barely paid attention to us. She however told her whole life story. She had strep throat and was working, she told us they were sending her home but than she never left. I think she was trying to be creative to get a tip. Never brought extra salad dressing or sauces. Took over an hour for us to get our food. Didnt keep up with drinks. It was a 2 hour ordeal with my dad who is partially disabled and had a hard time sitting there.

Half our party didnt get their food for over an hour, and they didnt receive their appetizers until they paid the check. We never got any bread, had to remind waitresses multiple times to bring drinks and even water, and the food we got was either extremely spicy (inedible... and its a favorite item, weve had it before) or cold.

Food is always good. Service tonight was HORRID. General Manager made it worse by her lack of customer and managerial skills. For the first time in my adult life, I left a 0 tip. Brandon was the only shining star.

When I went, no one was really there. I had to ask for steak sauce and condiments. My son had a wonderful meal for his birthday. Just FYI they do not even say happy birthday. Food

Went out for a quick date night tonight. Food was amazing but our waitress Luanne was beyond phenomenal. Everything she suggested was absolutely delicious. She got our complicated drinks so perfect and she made our night so memorable. If you happen to stop by be sure to request to sit with her.

Finally convinced my brother to try the salt grass steak house. Our server, Lauren, was phenomenal! Our steaks tender and perfectly cooked. Wonderful visit. Cant wait to go back.

While I cant rave about anything, It wasnt bad. I dont buy restaurant steaks anymore so I cant comment, but the New Orleans Chicken was pretty good. Waitress forgot my beer.

Our waiter was Stone and he was superb!!!! He was kind and prompt our drinks were never empty, and he was always smiling. The outstanding per normal! It isnt often we go to Saltgrass, but this time was by far one of my top experiences. Bravo
