I went to lukes tonight hoping to have a nice night the waitress super nice but she came back saying they had informed her I couldnt be served bc I was slurring and struggling to walk. Havent had a drink all night and I have a small lisp when I speak English as its not my first language but she said I had to buy food and wait 30 minutes and see if Ill be considered to be able to get a drink. Definitely not will going back after that interaction.

We we happy with the food my husband and I ordered. A pepper jack burger and a firehouse chicken sandwich. Onion ring and fries were good too. But we had an issue that left us a bit sour. We ordered 2 chicken tender baskets for our kids 7 and 9 My husband said the words.. 2 kids chicken tender baskets when we ordered. The waitress put it in as 2 adult chicken tender baskets (she told us later it was her 6th shift and didnt know there was a kids menu). When the food came we commented on how large the kids portion was in front of the waitress. When the bill came my husband noticed we were charged for the adult chicken baskets. I told the waitress and she apologized and said she didnt even know there was a childrens menu and she asked me if I wanted her to talk to the manager. I said yes, since it wasnt our mistake and both kids left a lot of food unfinished. The manager was sitting at the bar when the waitress went up to her. My husband didnt hear the waitress speak but clearly heard the manager say well they already got the food, so.. the waitress came back and apologized and put the bill down for us to pay. The price difference is about $13. So we paid the bill and went home with extra food. This was very poorly executed. It was clearly not our fault that the new waitress put in our order incorrectly. She didnt even know there was a kids menu, meaning this was not her fault either, it was whomever is responsible for her training. That would fall to the manager. And the manager unprofessionally was sitting at the bar, spoke very loudly so that my husband could hear her from 20 ft away. She didnt try to figure out if we were right or what happened. She just rudely and loudly said we already got the food so wed be paying for it. Unfortunately her bad managing will prevent Lukes icehouse from our repeat business. They would have ate $13 and left us happy to come back and bring in $60+ each visit. Plus this word of mouth. This is unfortunate. Also the chicken could use more seasoning. The firebird was good but the chicken tenders needing seasoning.

This place is sooo hard on either new faces or black people we walked in and everyone was just staring at us uncomfortably like we were in the wrong place WINDY was so rude she acted as if we were bothering her but she was very nice to the non colored couple! We sat at the bar for 32 mins before anyone even came to help us which was WINDY After sitting there and rude service we just decided not to order and leave it was just a bad experience and I ll never visit this place again

I used to like this place. IT HAS GONE TO TRASH!!! Had the brisket queso, fatty brisket, all grease. I told the server, and she said thats the way it is. You could see the grease separated, floating on the queso. My wifes burger had raw meat in it, the so called manager took 10 minutes to get to our table, and anther 20 minutes to get another one. We were all done eating by the time she got it. And they refused to take it off the ticket, saying you got it and you ate it. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!

Well my two daughters and I went to see a friend of mine s son and his band play. The waitress came to take our order and 10 minutes later this lady comes out and says that my kids have to leave because it s after 9:00 pm. I checked the website thoroughly before driving 40 minutes and it never mentioned anything about kids not being allowed in a restaurant past 9 pm. I told the lady that and the only response I received was sorry but your kids have to leave. It would have been different if they were running around, tearing stuff up, or being loud but they were literally sitting next to me. My girls are 15 and 10 so I can guarantee they weren t causing any problems. This is just ridiculous

Went with wife on Saturday night after work to have a drink and watch Astros ball game. There was a two piece band that was entirely too loud. They could have dialed down a few decibels. I had to cover my ears to walk outside for a table because inside was unbearable. Outside tables that werent wet had peoples possessions on them though nobody was around eating or drinking, just talking away from the tables. We just left with no intention of returning.

I ve always loved going here. The food, service, and live entertainment are always great and is an overall great place to go with friends and family. We got there as soon as they opened so it was pretty empty and service was quick. I ordered the famous firebird chicken sandwich. Nothing stood out about it. Expected a little more flavor for a $14 chicken sandwich but was ok overall. Person I was with had their habanero shrimp tacos and enjoyed them. Made me regret my choice in food haha. Our waitress, Eileen, was absolutely amazing. This was our second time eating here, so we had a few questions of course and Eileen gave us honest responses . We started with the chips, salsa and queso. The chips are homemade and the queso... OMG, the queso was so good! I ordered the Donut grilled cheese. The sweet and savory really hot the spot. My husband ordered the all day burger and loved it. The fries are homemade. All in all, I highly recommend it. Hopefully our next visit will be during the brunch.

Our family had a great time! The waitress was VERY polite, she wore her mask the ENTIRE time and even went out of her way doing a few other (more homely) things. If we pass by the area again we will definitely stop! The burgers were AWESOME! the skin on fries are amazing and, they gave the kiddos cookies with their meals!
