They refuse to take any medical malpractice when their website stated differently. I don t know if they added medical malpractice on their website as a decoration. Apparently, they only take cases if you slip on a banana peel or car accident.

Year: 2021-2022~2023 The firm as a whole is Excellent. They no longer do family law but if they were to start again, stick with Malachi. You won t regret it. ********************************************* Year: 2017-2018 This review has turned out to be a long overdue one but not forgotten. My apologies for that Malachi. AVVO is ridiculously picky about what we write and kept wanting me to leave out what I think are very important points: Malachi is the Billy McBride (Prime Amazon original - Goliath), and/or The Lincoln Lawyer (watch the movie so youll understand) of Southeast Texas. His legal intelligence, communication/listening skills, judgement, analytical/research skills, people skills and his ability to articulate a handful of carefully planned questions that takes apart a witness during cross examination is second to none. My case is a family law case that has involved continuous trips to court with attempts at trying to limit my time and involvement in my daughters life by requesting modifications to my possession and access every 2-3 years. My case started out in Central Texas and due to a move, taking my daughter 200+ miles away from me, a change in venue came about that brought my case to Southeast Texas. For the last 12 years, I have utilized a handful of attorneys. Unfortunately, every attorney I retained along the way did the bare minimum at representing my case with the last one (before Malachi) not doing enough to ensure the geographical restriction in place would keep my daughter close to me. In hindsight, this move turned out to be a fortunate one in that it brought me to Malachi who in my opinion has been a godsend and the answer to my prayers. In my last court appearance, Malachi successfully guided me through everything that was thrown at me. There were frustrating moments with some of the stuff that came my way, but Malachi was there every step of the way guiding me and reassuring me that everything would turn out fine. During our temporary orders hearing, I was able to observe Malachi in action and his ability to listen and articulate carefully planned questions for opposing party is amazing. I observed how Malachis questioning caused opposing party to stumble through her responses. Malachi also has a strong presence in the court room that commands respect and admiration by both opposing counsel and the judge. Although opposing party hired one of the most well known attorney in the area for family law, in the end it was reassuring to see how opposing counsel capitulated to Malachis requests on my behalf. My case ended with both my ex-wife and I (through our attorneys) settling on what modifications would be put into the latest court order and it was to my satisfaction as it included what I requested. Most importantly, Malachi made sure it included what was best, not just for us (parents) but, for my daughter as it ensured she continued to have a relationship with me (her father). I am very satisfied with Malachis representation of my case and would not hesitate in calling him again to represent me if the need arises. He is MY attorney and go to guy that I feel very comfortable and blessed in calling him that. May God grant him many more years in this profession and keep him and his family in good health. With confidence I say to any of you contemplating in hiring Malachi to represent you, Do it, you wont be disappointed.

My exwife was trying to keep the kids from me completely and I almost 50/50 which I will not give up on in the following years. I picture him as present, and future lawyer for any needs that he handles, although I can only speak to how he handled himself during my divorce. To his client he is a very kind man, but please, tell him everything to advise you properly. I think it court, he has an outstanding presence. He is firm, collected, and will get his answer no matter how many times the other party tries to beat around the bush and stutter. That greatly helped you could see they were just out to get me, and try to sound bad as each time he questioned firm, and stern, their answer eventually came out. He is Darlene were great for me Id give them. 10/10 on my case, their communication, and for him to advising me correctly. I had a lawyer before him I had to let go from being unhappy always being caught on the back foot then responding. Mr. Daws moves forward. He is a step ahead. Hes definitely your lawyer. EDIT: Just to add, even though Im rifht near the end, Mr Daws and Darlene are still pushing the other side hard to make sure tbings are fair on my side. I feel like one of the best decisions My son made is hiring Daws Law Firm in Beaumont for our grandson s custody case. Malachi Daw is not only an excellent attorney but also a good man who cares for his clients. The rapport and guidance was outstanding at all times, prompt, timely and open for calls and quick updates. He will fight for all your legal options! Three years ago my son s previous attorney had messed up his case and did everything that favored the opposing party who was actually dictating the terms. I wouldve given 5 stars but Im really not happy with the settlement amount BC the doctors ate up most of my money. I would suggest not seeing the doctors more than 2x per week and if you can avoid surgeries...then do that. I dont mind the lawyer fees, thats understandable. However, to live the rest of your life with a pinched nerve and receive such a small amount...that part is truly disappointing. I would definitely use them again. I do love this law firm and Malachi Daws is a great lawyer and very easy to talk to.
