Ive eaten here twice and once I had chicken fajita quesadillas and the other time Queso Flameado. Before going I looked at the menu online and it said flameado was 6.99. when I got there I had that and sweet tea at the bar. At checkout it was 14 plus some change. Didnt want to seem like a Karen so thought maybe I read the menu wrong online wrong and nerve looked at the one in house. Could of been a price increase so not sure. But food and service was on point. Once at a table and this last time at the bar. I do feel prices are a little higher than most places of same style but cant complain about quality of food or service.

Came in for lunch after church today. There were 3 in our group. Excellent service, food was served hot. Prices were reasonable. I ordered the taco dinner. The hamburger meat was cooked to perfection no grease dripping when I picked it up. We also had the cheese dip.. it was delicious! Staff checked on us several times. Always with a smile. Had enough leftovers to bring home. We will definitely be back.

Great service and really good food. But more experience than most Mexican food places Ive been but they give a lot of food so it was still worth it. Service was amazing we were checked in at least 10 times during a 30 minute lunch. Highly recommend.

Food was disgusting and over priced. I ordered the birria tacos and it was made half fast with little to no cheese and it tasted like cinnamon. My wife ordered street tacos and the meat was raw. My daughter ordered fajita and same thing meat was nasty. Im hispanic so this food is not good at all. Never coming here again. You want real Mexican food, go to El Refu in Port Arthur.

If there was an option for 0 stars . Id put that . The food was disgusting, had no flavor . We sat at the table for 45 mins after being seated and had no service . eventually once we got service after ordering When we got the food the waiter just dropped the food to the table . A kids chicken fajita was 3 smalls strips of chicken with nothing else on the plate . The kids burrito was burnt . Once we complained the manager just laughed and said oh well u have to pay and Im not replacing it . The manager Hugo was a horrible Pearson who just laughed when u voiced opinions. Will NEVER go back

Food: Typical TexMex, worse than Casa oles - nothing makes it standout anymore. Presentation: Depends on the day. Sometimes it is just slapped on the plate. Service: Good. They will check on you every 5 minutes even when your mouth is full, and still get it wrong. I think they want to rush you out.So dont start a serioús convo. PRICE: WAY OVERPRICED!! and QUANTITY cut in half, I suggest you choose somewhere else, and get better food for less $$$. Trust me, the customer is not always right at this north of the border shack.

Outrageous prices my daughters food was a joke.. they placed an entire beef fajita strip wrapped in a corn tortilla and fried It wasnt chopped no cheese mixed just the strip set in the tortilla wrapped and deep fried. THAT was their fajita taquito.

The taste of the food is good, but the extreme increase in prices isnt reflected in the quantity or quality of it. Expect to pay MORE for LESS. A lot more. When they say 6 of something, it is actually 3 cut in half. Service - Sat down for a beer while we ordered food to go. They delivered it on plates and had to send it back to package it. Of course it wasnt hot. ATMOSPHERE - If you like bright flourescent kitchen lighting this is for you. SUMMARY ADVICE - Ive given this place many chances to even come close to the quality of other Beaumont offerings. It FAILS. Go to Elenas or anywhere else if you pay THESE prices. We are done with this place. Dont take a date here, thats for sure.

I ordered 2 ceviches to take away, neither of them were prepared, I had to put 2 pieces of lemon and things like that in my car, if a lot, it had 20 shrimp each plate, very little for such a high price. If you order your order to take away it is obvious that the dish has to be already prepared, not me as a customer adding the ingredients along the way and apart from everything being simple they didnt even give me salt to add to it. Very bad service. I dont recommend it at all

I am so disappointed and will not be back. This is the third time we were overcharged. I ordered kids fajitas for my daughter and it came with just meat and tortillas. I asked for a small side of cheese and guacamole (which should have come with it) and was charged $6 for both which was almost the price of the whole meal. Kids fajitas were $7.99. Then they charged us $1.99 adult charge on the kids fajitas and another $1 for French fries when it says either beans/rice or fries. Also a high charge of $3.24 for a tea. They are ridiculous and I had to argue for a while before they would refund and the only thing they refunded was the adult charges but still tried to justify it. Horrible customer service from the manager and he even laughed.

I ate here a few weeks ago. I was in Beaumont for work for two weeks. Came here on a recommendation. The food did not have good flavor. Towards the end of my meal I was eating my Birria tacos and a roach came out of my chips. I killed the roach and gave it to a server that was cleaning another table. He said he was sorry and told me he would get the manager. The manager did not come over but when my server came back I mentioned it to him. His response was disgusting. He said it was normal . They needed to come out every few days to eat. I was grossed out. He then proceeded to ask if I wanted another beer. He then expected me to pay for everything. I will never eat here again. This is disgusting.

High priced food,quality was not so good. Loud music inside of different genres over loud speakers. I ordered 2 beef enchiladas which didnt have much ground beef in it. Came with rice beans and 1 crispy taco. 1 ice tea and it was 18.00 dollars. This is no papasitos for sure to charge those kind of prices. I wont be back thats for sure. Oh and enchilada tortillas were somewhat hard, which they shouldnt have been.

Lived a block away from this place for 10 years and never stopped here. Finally stopped and got some food here a few months ago. Absolutely amazing! The street tacos are the best, street nachos amazing! Everything weve ordered here has been spectacular. The service is great! My family order street tacos from here at least twice a week now! I was having lunch with a group of about 12 to 14 friends. One friend who had tacos found a bug in her tacos. The waiter brought her two new tacos. Unfortunately, I had tacos as well. I inspected them thoroughly and then took a bite, but knowing about the bugs, I just couldnt eat them. When I put my taco down, a bug comes crawling out. I was disgusted! They wanted to make me more tacos or even another food on the house this time. I just wanted my ticket, which I still had to pay for (drink and my queso). I was shocked that this was not handled in any other way. I will not be eating at this establishment again. Now, for a positive, they did make a heck of a top shelf strawberry daiquiri for me. But a lot of good that did once I had seen the bug. There were multiple people in our group who had seen this, and I feel it is my due diligence to let everyone else know.

Absolutely disgusted with my order today. Usually, I dont have an issue but this time really was a gut check. The menu online has the Tacos al Carbon as (3), and when I got home and opened my plate I only had (2). I called the restaurant to ask whats the deal and he tells me that the online menu was wrong. Wouldve been nice to have been told that while placing my order over the phone. Also, I had 2 orders of these tacos and an enchilada plate that totaled $43. You can see in the picture that these are the most pathetic excuses for tacos Ive ever seen, and then you only give 2 tacos?!?! Honestly this will be the last time I eat at this place. Very disappointed.

It has been many years since we have eaten at Diez de Mayo Restaurant and today we finally got to town when they were open for lunch. Inside the dining area are these super bright LED rope lights on the ceiling that really brighten up the restaurant almost too bright for me! Waitstaff was very attentive and the service was good. Chips were kinda stale. Salsa was warm (with heat not spice) which I like. I had a chile relleno dinner plate and spouse had fajita enchiladas. Food was ok, at best not as we remembered. We didn t order any alcoholic beverages and still paid $40 FOR LUNCH! Yes, we saw the prices on the menu and knew what the cost would be. I don t mind paying for a good meal, but this visit was extremely disappointing food-wise.
