Wow, what an experience. This place will be my new go-to for lunch. I can not explain the amazing flavors. We had the all you can eat option for lunch, and let me tell you, I can not stop dreaming of those appetizer fries... so simple but with this garlicy aioli and bulgulgi on top, it was out of this world. The Japchae not only intrigued my palate, but I was too scared it would be the item that would fill me up too fast before I got to the meats. It was too good to pass up. The pit centers a table full of intriguing tastes, from kimchi, cucumbers, bean sprouts, and an intriguing potato salad. The meats were also amazing, bulgulgi marinated chicken spicy pork, beef/pork belly, and calamari... though I didnt try the calamari. Service, too, was on point. Quan was our first server for our initial visit. He hit the experience out of the park. We went again our second time, and our server I wish I remembered her name was also a TKO.. knocked us to the floor with the service. If youre looking to impress...KO Korean BBQ is where its at!!!

We came to this place not realizing that they were going to close the kitchen down they close at 2:30. We came in 30 minutes till closing time I should have known something was that cuz the hostess was acting like she wasnt happy to see us. We sat down they took our order and notified us that the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes we were served the wrong drink but just chalked it up to them being in a rushed. Then they all hovered over us until we finished our food. We asked for two to go boxes and they gave us one. We quickly left and they didnt even tell us thank you for coming as they watched us leave. I may give him another shot it was a nice place but they werent real happy to see us.

Im not living in the area anymore, but when I did I always wanted to go, but never did. And last night I finally crossed it off my list. We ordered the sampler appetizer, bulgogi, dwegi bulgogi, and galbi. The meat was delicious, but the banchan that came with it was a little disappointing. Maybe I was spoiled by Houstons Korean restaurants, but I expected more. The salad was pretty basic but delicious. The pork egg rolls were meh. The beef dumplings were pretty good. The KO wings were great! The sauce has too much of a ketchup flavor and less heat than I was expecting, but the wings by themselves were amazing! That double fry really is the secret to perfectly crunchy wings. The fries were also awesome. For an area that really needs good Korean food, this is a good introduction to this style of dinning.

I came in at 11 am on a Thursday which was not packed at all but the female waiter(fake eyelashes) had so much attitude. She didn t ask if we wanted to cook our meat but cooked it for us When I asked to cook our own meat she gave the biggest side eye and then when the meat came she slang it onto our table. The lady also didn t mention a 25% gratuity on tables of 5. If you want a better experience I d ask for another waiter.

Kimchi stew was pretty good didn t have a strong base taste but together with the rice cakes and bulgogi, it was smooth going down. Definitely recommend this spot if you re in Beaumont. My entire me was only $33 with taxes.

previous review was from a few years ago. Ive given this place a few more tries since then, and it is SUCH a banger. Love this place. Meat is STILL excellent quality and you get SO. MUCH. OF IT! Boyfriend and I stuffed ourselves silly for about $100. only gripe is i still have to ask for lettuce leaves (who just eats the meat straight????) and the steam egg seems to just be steamed scrambled egg in a pot with no dashi or seasonings :( Vegetarian options: i would avoid if vegan, but vegetarians have plenty of vegtable options. Dietary restrictions: plenty of seafood and pork so if you are allergic or avoid for religious purposes, cross contamination is possible, so i would not recommend Parking: building itself hard to find but there is a lot of parking Kid-friendliness: please dont bring your children. hot grills, lots of sharp implements, not to mention this isnt exactly a family-style restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: absolutely accessible

Not even asking if we wanted anything else they handed us our check. When given check back lady rudly slung it to the table to rush to a bigger table. Was willing to tip well if the service was better but since there was only two of us we were neglected. Bad customer service all around. Will not be returning

Came here for a graduation dinner. Our party was very large and we didnt call in advance, so it took about an hour to be seated. While waiting the bar service was there for drinks. The bar also got the kids in our party drinks, very kind. They accommodated our big party of about 30. We took up 3 whole tables there. Service was fast, drinks were always refilled, food came out quickly. Food was delicious and arrived quickly and steaming hot from appetizers to the main course. We asked for alot of our orders to come cooked already while others on our party wanted to cook it at the table, they accommodated us and didnt mess up a single order. Staff is polite and professional. Great experience

Emily is a very rude and terrible customer service representative/supervisor. I ordered lunch on doordash and they gave my order to the wrong person. My dasher and I both requested she have my order remade and she said it was my problem to deal with. They couldnt afford to fix the problem and that I should fight with Doordash to be refunded as opposed to them remaking my food and correcting their issue. Shameful customer service. I will share this on every review place available. Ive been looking forward to trying this place for so long and just like that, Emilys first impression has left this place forever tainted and forever shared amongst my recommendations against for service.

First time eating at this establishment. I ordered take out and it took 20 minutes. The restaurant was very clean. The lady at the bar was very friendly. She gave us lots of samples to try. I ordered the brisket and this is where it all went to a one star review. I dont know exactly what meat this was, but it wasnt brisket. It didnt look like brisket and certainly didnt taste like brisket. It looked like steak-umm. It was not good. They didnt give me all of the salads that came with my order. No big deal it was inedible. It was brown and just large whole leaves of lettuce. If the food sucks, nothing else really matters. I do not recommend this place..

Absolutely never again 6 people. First, we were told we weren t allowed to use the second grill on our full table so half of the table had to wait in line to cook their food, after a surprisingly long wait to have said raw food served despite the restaurant being completely empty. Zero help was offered in trying to decipher the menu or to understand the choices, items, etc our lack of knowledge was clearly annoying our server. It was an issue for 2 people (1adult/1child) at the table to have their seafood combo cooked because everyone at the table has to go with cooked or raw considering being not allowed both grills at the table, further confusion. VERY SMALL portions for the price! My meal was $30 for a small, thin ribeye, bowl of fried rice (fried was an extra $4 above the $30) ONE slice of onion, ONE mushroom cap and a piece of lettuce and the person seated across from me found their raw seafood slapped on my beef plate but apparently that s completely normal. Server was clearly annoyed and did not want to be helping us but I guess when you re going to add auto tip due to party size anyway, without informing said party, then service doesn t matter. It was like pulling teeth to get plates to put the cooked food on not sure why it seemed odd that we did not want to put cook meat back in the raw puddles of cross contamination left on the plates, but I digress. $350 for 6 people my first time at a Korean grill and severely disappointed. Go to Tokyo for the entertainment experience for this amount of money. At least you will receive an actual meal.

My boyfriend and I decided to try Ko Korean Grill for our late Valentines Day date. I have never felt the need to write a negative review so this is new to me... says something I guess. Despite my excitement, the service we received was subpar. Our server, Cassie, didnt introduce herself and only came to our table four times, two of which were to drop off items. We didn t get our drinks refilled. Maybe she thought we were the typical stereotype teenagers don t tip , so she felt the need to not give us good service. Very wrong indeed. Although the food was average and we enjoyed the Ko Sampler, the poor service left a bad taste in our mouths. As someone who works in the service industry myself, I know that good service is crucial to receiving a decent tip. Sadly, we wont be returning due to the unkind treatment we experienced throughout the evening. A reminder to all servers: kindness goes a long way, no matter who you are serving. We hope everyone has a better night than we did. Thank you.

This restaurant is mainly focused on aesthetics, we sat at the bar (happy hour is only on bar side) our bartender was very attentive and nice. The drinks i tried very good, the Ko Mule was my favorite but then it came to the food I wish it was served a little more traditionally, since it is a Korean restaurant. I ordered the bibimbap It was given to me in a Regular bowl when it s served in a Hot stone bowl, so the rice can crisp up at the bottom. Therefore, my food was very cold and not what i was expecting since I ve had what truly is bibimbap. I was really craving it so it was kind of a let down but they do have a good menu so may give another chance.

This place was very good, but, in my opinion, more expensive than necessary. They should explain their menu better. We ordered 2 rice bowls because the waitress said you can have two proteins added, but she didnt explain that you are charged $15 for beef, $14 for pork, and $13 for chicken. This means that you are charged for every protein you add. It was misleading when she said you could add two proteins because it sounded like you would get them added into the rice bowl for the price OF the rice bowl. Kinda misleading. Our bill was $63 for both bowls. I wish I had chosen just one protein. If I had, the cost would have been more even and proportionate when compared to the amount of food we were served. The beef egg rolls were delicious, though, and were $8 for two. With tip, the meal was $75 for lunch, which I feel is high.

First off, I wouldnt recommend this place! The food is not good. We chose the all you can eat. We got 1 appetizer for each person. But the worst thing was their lady server who had FALSE EYELASHES. She is soooo horrible server! Every time she puts something on our table, it makes some noise. She is neither polite nor friendly! The first place we understand we thought she had a bad day or what. But the moment we finished our first set, we told her to give us another round, but she said, Oh, you need more? Anyway, this will be the last order because we are going to close.. How come theyre going to be close when she always gives orders on the other side? And matter of fact, we only sit there for at least 30 minutes, lets say around 1pm. We only have one set for this ALL YOU CAN EAT! I wish we have the white young lady as our server she is more kind compare to that FALSE EYELASHES LADY! Anyway this restaurant is not worth it!

First order of Protein came quickly & was very good on the grill. Then grill turned off. Appetizer came later, ice cold. They did remake & was much better fresh & hot. Protein that came from kitchen was not great, over sauced & on a bed of onions. $ 19.00 for AYCE Lunch BBQ is a fair price, but go at noon.

We arrived right at 4:30pm and were the first table there. Unfortunately the service was super slow from the start. We had to continue to ask for refills and napkins. We asked for salt but that never come, they may not have table salt because there isn t any on the tables. The egg rolls were good, dumplings my daughter enjoyed but the rest of the table did not. The rice cakes were good as well. My daughter enjoyed her fried rice, husband had the same but with shrimp and he said it was not the best he s eaten. My son enjoyed his army strew? But said it needed some spice and salt. The kim Chi soup was not it y all lol I had the noodles with the egg and it was okay. A little salt or some garlic/chili oil would have made it better. We are just used to foods being heavily seasoned and these just were not. They also have Korean BBQ which looked pretty good and come with quite a few things to dip it in (noticed as we were leaving) and wished we were given that option and we would have gladly paid.

I sampled their specialty drink in multiple flavors and ordered a bottle to go. I promise the bottle tasted nothing like my shot glasses. The bottle definitely packs a punch, while the samples taste like juice. The salad dressing is good and so are their KFC wings. There are so many photo opps here!! Just be sure to have your light accessory, as some areas are dim. Overall, we were thoroughly pleased with every aspect of the dining experience!!! Looking forward to returning.

We have been regulars since they opened, I can say the staff has a high turn over rate. The food as decreased in quality which has made us question whether they have new cooks, bad ingredients or using soon to expiring products first before serving fresh food. The management(owners) normally are there and adds a good atmosphere, I ve seen them less and less of them which leaves newer employees to manage themselves. Some servers are great and do not need to be prompted to attend to their tables and some do. But overall it s a nice option to eat, but I certainly had questioned if they will stay open longer with the quality of service and food they are serving will keep them in business. I normally would recommend them to family and friends, but the last few times has left me dissatisfied. My family and I will decrease coming here. Wish the best of luck KO.

Tonight was a great night here. It wasnt packed and the music wasnt too loud. Its a super chill relaxed place to gather with friends and family to chat and eat. We started off with the rice cake and pork dumplings. The rice cake was new to me. I like it but my favorite part was the mozzarella. The dumplings are really good just be careful cause its served hot and fresh. The dipping sauce was amazing. Kimchi Stew - So much flavor, omg I just wanted to pick up the bowl and drink from it. It had just the right amount of spice. We got the Pork Combo A. Everything was marinated. The trick is to get the hot plate sizzling hot so you can get a good sear on both sides. Brooke was our waitress and was very kind and prompt with with service. Thank you for being attentive.

I ordered from this restaurant through Favor. After my money was taken I was contacted by my favor runner to let me know the restaurant was not going to make my order because one of the items was a lunch item. I would have understood if they didnt have the items at dinner, but they did, only in a different portion size. I asked the manager if she would consider filling the order anyway since they were the ones who made the mistake in the Favor listing, or even reduce the portion size to match the lunch menu. She refused. Then when I said that if Favor didnt refund me then I would come up there for the refund, she told me I couldnt do that. She didnt listen to me when I was speaking because after I explained myself several times she finally said that she didnt hear me correctly the first time. I would have paid for the extra portion size, but she wasnt interested in making it right, she was only interested in arguing and being rude and difficult. There was a better way to handle this situation. I will never set foot inside this restaurant, or order from them again. If you value customer service then Id suggest you do the same.

Finally, a place with an Asian influence in Beaumont that is actually worth going to! Hallelujah! Weve been to most in the area, including PHO...and its been a big strike out at every turn.... Enter KO Korean BBQ. Unlike 95% of places in this town, KO offers a bright, contemporary look! While not incredibly large, the layout is decent. It was busy! The food was very, very good. Authentic Korean cuisine fused with an American style presentation. Very unique. Our waitress was a delightful blonde lady and very attentive to my wifes gluten allergy. Again- not par for the course in this town. My wife had a rice bowl and I had the short rib BBQ. For appetizers, we tried the beef and pork egg rolls. Both entrées and appetizer were bright, vibrant, and fresh. The fried rice was also fresh and delicious. The Korean BBQ Short Ribs were cooked to perfection. My only recommendation to the owner of this establishment? Never serve your short rib on top of a plate of raw onion. Number One- sautéed and perfectly seasoned onions would elevate the dish. Serving them on a bed of raw onions takes away from the presentation and quality of your dish. Apart from that- wonderful food and atmosphere. We will definitely return!

The food is always spot on great! (I eat here frequently.) Just be sure to ask for the wrap set up and toasted sesame oil to eat your bulgogi or pork with! Staff is typically great! There have been a couple of servers who seemed to be unhappy, but overall they are wonderful!! Food

This restaurant is not only great for Beaumont, but could compete with any major restaurant in any major city. We will definitely be back any time we are in Beaumont. Kid-friendliness: We have three kids two of which are still in high chairs and they took great care of them. Very accommodating

Overpriced! The combination was $49. We ordered two combos. They came with 6 sides that were a bite each. Each side was stale and old. Nothing was fresh. The waitress said it came with unlimited steamed rice and salad. They still charged for the extra rice. The seafood combo was not worth it. Honestly not worth it at all.

We got food from their food truck at an event today. We needed quick finger foods. So we just shared a box of fully loaded nachos with their marinated beef and pork. Totally hit the spot as we didnt eat all day. Only downfall was we werent provided with enough napkins to get through our very messy juicy nachos. The only napkin that was provided was the one in the utensil packet. But food- delicious. Will check out their other foods on another day. The nachos were 12.99 split between 2 people. Id say that is worth the price.

I used to love this place, but after last night the way I was treated by the manger Emily I will never go back there again. I was racially discriminated aging just because I couldnt understand one of the wait staff. If this is the kinda of people they want to hire I dont want anything to do with them. I spent over $150 on a meal, just to get treated like I was worthless. I would give zero stars If I could!

Excited that I finally got to try this while passing through town. With a few minor adjustments, this place could be amazing. We ordered a mix of bbq and other menu items. They have a variety of soju. We tried the Subak fresh which wasn t bad, but was too heavy on lime. I would try a different cocktail next time. We ordered the KO bloom with pork, but it came out after our entrees. Flavor 10/10, chopping 4/10. Too much of the onion was left whole instead of cut into little pieces to become tasty fried bits. We ordered a plate of brisket for the grill. The salad and banchan was decent. Only complaint here was the inconsistent thickness of the slices. Most were nice and thinly sliced, while others where thick bacon cut. The biggest disappointment was the Korean Fried chicken sandwich. While the bun and sauce was good (KO sauce) the chicken did not have that thick crunchy batter that I was expecting. It could have come from KFC. The fries were not very hot and undercooked. This seemed to be consistent as every order of fries I saw was unusually pale colored. I would recommend passing on the fry dishes. The service was good. I look forward to visiting again and hope they can make the corrections to make it even better.

The food was decent, but we were a party of 8, and most of us had an upset stomach the next day, so there was something wrong with the food. They also tried to charge us an automatic 25% tip. We got the manager to fix it for us, and I think it was 15% after that. Super sketchy how they tried to overcharge us for mediocre service. The manager claimed it was an error .mmhmm!

I highly recommend everyone try KO Korean Grill at least once. I just went back tonight. I still enjoy the food & atmosphere. Even though they were super busy with hardly any seats available, the wonderful staff was super friendly & attentive. Top notch service. The highlight of the meal has got to be the bulgogi eggrolls & the beef soup. Their banchan & house salad are heavenly. The rice is always perfectly done. I asked for extra kimchi and was very easily obliged. I dont know of another restaurant like this in our area. There is not one bad thing Id say about this gem. Honestly, I love it. Keep up the good work. Youve done well. I will post again next time I go.
