Order was incorrect. By the time I got the correct order it was time to leave since everyone else was finished with their meal. Service wasn t as good as it normally is. I was not asked if I needed a drink (tea) refill and the waitress refilled a Sprite glass with water! We had to ask for more chips for our Queso. It was disappointing. I still gave a great tip. Hopefully they will do better the next time.

We visited El Toro on Decker Drive last night and found both the service and food top notch. The restaurant was very busy but the manager assisted servers to ensure that everyone, staff and customers, all had a great experience. I look forward to eating there again. My parents introduced me to El Toro at the Decker Drive location in the early 1960s. Its our go to place for Mexican Food, dine-in or take out. Sure, we occasionally have a missing item in carry-out, but the staff will make good on it, if you let them know about it. Weve never had a bad experience here in over 60 years of dining and the food has always been great. (I sometimes joke with the staff, telling them my food was no good while displaying my empty plate.) We always bring visiting family members here for dinner out. Thank-you, El Toro!

Great steak fajitas! They actually put in the effort to marinate the steak over night, unlike most places that serve tough, unseasoned meat, bought in bulk from Costco or Sams. They give you plenty of meat and it tastes tender and flavourful. The queso cheese is served inside small taco salad shell. The atmosphere is very plain but the food makes up for it. I was charged $61 for just me, that included my meal plus 2 jumbo margaritas. Very pricey indeed but I really enjoyed my meal.

Ordered a sangria and got a half glass when I tried ordering another I was told they ran out. My husband ordered a frozen margarita it was everything but frozen. Waiting extremely long for our food we were told the kitchen was backed up but there were only three tables occupied in the entire restaurant not to mention they came to in after us but got there food while we continued to wait. This is definitely not a place I would recommend.

Such an impressive experience. From the moment I walked in. I was greeted warmly by multiple staff members and seated immediately. I barely had a wait for my food, and my drink was replenished before I even finished the first. The wait staff was so kind, friendly, and attentive. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and inviting. The lighting was dim but not dark. Country music played at a moderate tone to where customers can carry a conversation but still listen and enjoy the music. Finally, the food was phenomenal. I ordered the stuffed avocado with shrimp and chicken. Every bite was delightful with the creamy texture of the avocado and crunch of the fried breading. The flavor was smooth and distinct between each aspect of the dish.

Our waitress was super nice and had a fun personality, but that s the only thing good there. I ordered the steak fajita for one and it was super bland, definitely not worth $25. My fiancé and brother also thought their food lacked flavor and we all agreed it wasn t worth the price. It might just be my personal taste but even the tortilla chips there tasted weird. Would not recommend at all, together our meal cost almost $70 so I was upset I had wasted so much money but at least I know now that I don t like this place. If you decide to try it, definitely go with a cheaper menu option. If I had to recommend anything I d just choose a plate of beans and rice, those were the only decent tasting dishes in my opinion.

First and last for us. The food wasnt good at all. Service was fine. The place itself was okay but we happened to be seated by a father and son who were arguing. We thought they were going to break out fighting a few times so it was hard to relax and have dinner. I am disappointed to say the least and was hoping for better. I picked up an order of beef enchiladas (with just the right amount of grease) this evening and as usual...they were great! The service is always friendly and polite and the prices are reasonable (please dont change that part). The atmosphere is very family during the day and surprisingly romantic in the evenings. The only two complaints I have are, they close at nine(I would like them to be open 24/7) and I forgot my ice cream cone because I was in a hurry.(my fault, not theirs). So really I frequent this place and Im ALWAYS satisfied after my meal. Kid-friendliness: They have ice cream cones and a soft serve ice cream machine to the left as you walk in. How much more kid friendly can you get in a classy eatery?

Quick service, great status, hot food, nice atmosphere. If you are Mexican, the food is not bad but here you will not find anything with a Mexican flavor, neither the sauce, nor the tortillas, nor the rice, do not expect to find bullfighting chilitos, a good spicy sauce, nopales, tongue, Menudo, eggs to taste, pozole or condiments such as epazote or cumin in food. I actually prefer this location over the larger / newer / busier Garth Rd. location. Always easy to get prompt seating and service and its not noisy like its flashier counterpart. This is a family restaurant. The food is good, but we eat here instead of the Garth Road location primarily because of the service. It can get a little noisy, but thats because its a FAMILY restaurant. Go. Have fun. Eat well. Parking: Parking can be a little difficult on a Friday or Saturday night. We have been loyal yet we have experienced bad service especially my brother and dad. Most of the time they order they get it wrong. I knew my brother was going to get mad about his order not being right. Everytime he tries to order his unique order they mess up something. This is problem the 20+ time. I had a very bad experience, the food was horrible, I ordered a tropical ceviche and they gave me just a little rooster with 3 shrimp and no lemon, I went to return it and the manager was very rude, he canceled my card without warning and charged me He was very rude and told me that if I didnt want the food that he shouldnt take it to me, at least in that direction I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT RESTAURANT AT ALL, horrible treatment by the person in charge

I wanted to grab a quick bite so I stopped in was going to get a hamburger but decide to get the chicken sandwich it was good the service was great the pumpkin cheros were good and the strawberry lemonade was also good I will be back

This was my first time eating here. I ordered steak fajitas and a margarita. Everything was perfect, especially the salsa. The waiter was super friendly and he did a fantastic job. Ill be coming back again. Food
