Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

So I was picking up a online order at 545 am Sunday morning and there was only two employees working and the manager no where to be seen although there was a table in the lobby that they had clearly been hanging out at as there were things there that related, but they were only handing out orders in drive through while the six of us standing in the lobby just stood and waited and each of us would ask for updates but it took 15 minutes to pick up a order that was scheduled to be picked up already whats the point in online orders if there ignored because they are never prepared until you arrive which defeats the point but the store was dirty no napkins, floor a mess etc should try to schedule more employees or encourage management to assist... Update still no help early mornings! You know its very busy early morning tell my why you arent staffing for it??? This isnt just these 2 mornings I come early morning at least 5 days a week and every single dam day their under staffed come on Whataburger get it together

Clean facility and great customer service! Staff are very helpful and they know what they re doing! Parking: Plenty of room to park and well lit up at all ht of the night to morning! Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: They have wheel chair ramps that are just for the front door.

Terrible service. Was stuck in the drive thru for 20 minutes today! In that time they brought NO food out for ANY of the cars in the drive thru! I asked how much longer and they said another 5 minutes! Just got my money back and then had to maneuver cars to get OUT of the double line...ridiculous!

I had a wonderful experience at this location recently! We were due to celebrate my son s 8th birthday party nearby at the movie theatre but last minute we found out Showbiz theatre charged a $50 fee if we brought in birthday cake. Dejected, we decided to go to Whataburger for lunch and cake before the actual party to avoid the absurd theater fees. I wasn t sure if they would turn us away since we were a large group with cake and gifts. Upon walking inside, I was met with an elderly black gentleman whose smile and greeting absolutely lit up the restaurant. I asked him if it was okay that we bring in the cake and celebrate while eating our burgers, still thinking they might turn us away. I didn t catch his name but he amazingly said, ABSOLUTELY! Y all come on in! All of the staff seemed happy we were there, got our orders right and made sure we were accommodated with everything we needed. I was very impressed and so thankful they allowed us to come last minute and have a great time! I made sure to tip the sweet man and hope to see him there again in the future. Thanks Whataburger for a great day and great meal!

I usually rate restaurant location, service, cleanliness. But this store deserves No stars. They manipulate the system, they mark the order as done while it s NOT, just to meet the company standards and policy. They were not busy and my order took over 25 minutes. I talked to the manager but he was unprofessional and rude. He told me that I can cancel the order and go to another restaurant if I am that hungry!

My 73 mother who is hard of hearing went to whatabutger and got skipped several times. After 30 minutes LaTroy was the person that took her order. Mom as upset for waiting 20 minutes for someone to finally come to her. As Latroy new she was upset he brought several orders to her window and asked her what her name was REPEATEDLY and said nope not yours (being rude and disrespectful). As soon as mom wanted to get a refund after 45 minutes of him toying with her suddenly the order is ready. Probably spit in it. Am scared to eat it. I will NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN. LATROY SHOULD BE FIRED. IS THIS THE QUALITY OF HUMAN BEINGS YOU EMPLOY. UNBELIEVABLE!! AND MY MOM IS THE NICEST PERSON YOU WILL EVER MEET. SHE NEVER COMPLAINS BUT TODAY IT WAS JUST UNBEARABLE.

Had ten minutes extra time going to work so decided to stop here. Went thru the drive thru. In about a minute I had placed my order. Was the fourth vehicle in line. About three minutes after I got there, the first vehicle got their order and left. Now nine minutes after I got there and no movement. No idea why. I had to leave for work and just left. Guess I wont be stopping here for breakfast again.

I do not like standing at the counter with 4 wataburger employees while they laugh and giggle and ask each other how their day is going, all the while ignoring me. Fire the lot. Its rare that I walk into a fast food place and think....man, these people deserve to be making $15 hour. To me, I would have to say they are overpaid and under worked.

Food is great, and the restaurant is clean, but service is definitely not what it used to be. One day me and my sister ordered on the app and it was supposed to take 20 min. I would just love to know why this Whataburger cannot live up to other locations in the nearby area. I rarely go to Whataburger because they are all out of the way compared to this one which is only 5 minutes down the street from us. They never get the order right and if they do it s a miserable amount of toppings and if we come here for pick up or dine in it s like a 45 minute wait.. it s just ridiculous and a waste of time/money.

Horrible horrible service. I only ordered 4 shakes. Took 30 min to get someone to acknowledge me while waiting in line. (Outer line) they kept saying they will get you . Saw many cars get their food and finally someone came out took my card and brought out 3 shakes but charged 4 ,then got mad cause I told her I needed a refund. (Every one had an attitude)As she went inside to get my refund she came outside with the shake and said it started working but it was slow. I asked that I hoped they aren t melted as I had been waiting for a while , she confirmed they were fresh, I opened the lids to the 1st 3 shakes she brought out and as you can see in the picture they are melted and not well mixed. 2 chocolate (they don t look the same) one strawberry and the one they brought later was banana pudding. I still took them cause they were for my kids. I knew melted wouldn t be a big deal for them. Well they all had a horrible after taste . It was so bad and strong that we couldn t drink it. At this point I was home . I didn t want to go back because I knew I would probably get more attitude and not solve anything.sad sad. And even more that they would serve this to customers. I will try to call and see what non sense they tell me.

I was there last month and told them I had to return to work, went back late because I work odd hours and like any job customers deserve respect. Not you should of called and why did I pay for something when I never received. Y food the corporate office needs to investigate how lare night workers have no respect for anyone . I usually really love Whataburger but after the experience had with this employee I will never eat at this location again. We pulled up to the drive through (it was super slow there were only two cars in front of us) and I told my husband that we should dine in instead (we have two little kids and it would be hard for them to eat in the car) so my husband pulls through and it stopped by an employee that is very upset that we pulled through the drive through. He says next time we need to back up if we change our mind. (Back up through the drive through so we could potentially hit a car behind us? ) I thought that was weird but oh well we ll still go in and eat. We should have taken the red flag and left to eat somewhere else. We went in and ordered our food. While we were eating the same employee came to our table and continued to get angry with us over the fact that we pulled forward through the drive through and didn t back up. He said tell me your thought process of what you were thinking so I understand what was going through your mind I simply told him that we changed our mind and wanted to dine in he then tisk* tisk* a finger at us, honestly it was pretty degrading. He then began to lecture us further on why we needed to back up out of the drive through in the future. The whole experience was extremely weird and I felt harassed. I would tell everyone to steer clear of this location. I would be concerned if anyone ACTUALLY did anything wrong while this employee was around.

I visit this whataburger on last night bout 10.30 the front counter lady was very nice. Gave her my order and told her how I wanted it . It took bout 5 minutes to come .and my order was wrong. I d give negative stars if I could. Ordered drive thru while driving home from vacation at 6:20pm. At 6:34 they came out and said grilled chicken was going to be another 7-10 minutes. Ordered a Whataburger w/cheese dine in. The meat was barely warm so the cheese was not melted. This is the third time I have gotten pre-cooked meat! I thought whataburger cooked their meat up fresh. No way this meat was fresh-it was a little warm and dry. That being said the cokes are excellent. I might as well go to McDonald s just pass on this place!

This location isnt my favorite. The fries are not fresh, and the food is not as fresh as other locations I frequent. Drive further down i-10 & guaranteed youll get hot, fresh fries and flavorful burgers. The employees at this location do work hard and are very pleasant. I just wish the food was hot & fresh. Especially with prices going up, quality needs to be improved. The drive-thru is a hit or miss, but tonight, the line was not long, and moved along fast.

Waited in drive thru for 20 minutes only to get to window and be told to pull up your order is not ready. Then while waiting 3 vehicles behind me got their order and left. I returned my orange juice and asked for a refund.

Overall, very nice place just East of Baytown. Very popular place, also right near a Chick-fil-A....they serve FUZE raspberry ice tea which is a plus.

We went in at 3:03 pm today and ordered a kids chicken strip meal because my daughter was hungry. At 3:25 we asked about our order because we seen people come in after us get their order and leave. They said they had just started working on it. We went back at 3:40 and asked again and they finally handed it to us. It s now 3:42. How in the world does it take 40 minutes to make one kids meal?!? This is ridiculous. This Whataburger is always slow no matter if it s the drive thru or dine in.

Got my food right.... Update... This place is cool but unless you have 30 minutes To go through the drive through you should probably go to another one ... This is like my 3rd time coming here waiting in the drive-through for an extremely long time. Not sure what takes so long. So im taking off one star because Of the wait times here It seems to be consistent.
