My employer uses this location for all of our employees. I usually don t write reviews, but this previous stay was horrible. I ve stayed here about 4 times on extended stays between last year and this year and never have had problems with staff. Mr. Christian helped me on the previous stay. He was very welcoming, he was able to check me in, hold a conversation, he even gave me a list of near by restaurants, stores, and entertainment. Me and my co workers wanted to have a drink, he even suggested one of the most coolest bars I ve been to while in Texas. Mr. Christian was the only saving to the welcoming feel of being a member. He would ask me how my room was after a long day of work, even if it was my scheduled day for housekeeping, he still would ask me how work went when I would walk in, he even would ask if I needed anymore toilet paper, towels, and etc. < THATS WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALL ABOUT. For him to not be here anymore is wild. Never once did I have an issue with him nor anyone from my company. He was also great about having fresh coffee - even if I had to change schedules and work an evening shift, it was always fresh. Last few days of this stay it was either empty or cold. The lady in the morning was really helpful, but there s a guy that works the evenings - he was NEVER at the front desk. I would try to buy a cold beverage, and never was able to because I didn t want anyone thinking I was stealing. With that being said, I would have to leave and go down the way to the gas station. The guy at the front desk - NEVER seems to be interested in anything people have to say. How can someone say they are a manager and have the up most disgusting attitude? He s very standoffish, he seems to always have an attitude, and even when I asked for towels it s like it s a bother to do the job. He rolled his eyes and walked away to grab them but didn t say anything - other than his facial expression. Where is the ice? This place use to have an ice machine on the 1st floor, which was very convenient, now they want you to flip the switch in the freezer to make ice. I did that, and 4 hours later when I came back from dinner; not one drop of ice. They have a drink station in the dining area, WITH NO ICE. The maintenance guy ( not the older one ) even spoke to me and asked how I was doing when I walk through the front doors and he s out there. There s a problem when maintenance can hold a conversation and front desk can t. Aren t they pose to be the first impression? I really advise you guys to pick better staff. This location does have a lot of mold in the showers which is very visible to anyone cleaning the room and yet, nothing is done about it. The back area is nice, but always has kids running around or people at the grills being loud and obnoxious. There s so many cats in the back that it s ridiculous. I really do wish that my company chooses a different location on our next job. This place is just declining in every aspect of service.

Never again, the employees having company parties, taking up the gazebo and pool area, leaving food all over and plastic reusable water balloons everywhere. Room was 80 degrees and had to switch to another room. Pool was green and had to complain for them to clean it. Also tampons in the pool baskets for at least 3 days. To many hotels in the area to settle for 2 start service.

Arrive at your own risk! Most ihg hotels are nice and u have some that needs help. Our stay at location was a horrible one. I really dont care about you folks putting people on a do not rent list because thats what youll do when you get the reviews. Reviews do hurt the hotel thats why customers have the right to place them. If employees would treat guest like people and not like animals because they have had a bad childhood this world would be a better place. Some of the employees at this location are very nice and others are very rude with nasty attitudes towards others. Our family members had a very horrible experience with this hotel with over charging our cards they kept running the cards more then once, they wanted more money for stuff that hasnt even occurred. Its Horrible. They talk to you STUPID like your one of they children. They blame you for stuff that u have no idea of. Its Horrible! Again travelers enter at your own risk! If you say your a manager, you should be able to talk with customers and not let someone else handle things for you and look down on others. What goes up must come back down for sure. Our families was being changed right at two thousand dollars for something we didnt know anything about and every day they want 2 charge your credit card. So folks watch your bank account and credit card statements. What they dont tell customers is they system will lock in a full image of your credit card, thats how they keep running folks cards. Travelers be aware of any charges once you have checked out, they will say you done something just 2 charge you. The room we was in had dog food in it. During the flooding they had guest with pets and the rooms wasnt clean properly! This is a hotel I DONT see how they got 3 r 4 awards for best hotel and they attitudes are nasty towards majority of the guest! The hotel staff reads the reviews as well as the corporate team and they be trying 2 lie they out of stuff! This hotel has caught a fire in one of the rooms yes guest this hotel youll rate so highly has had fires and they are keeping it hush hush. There are Flys flying around the food there are Nats n majority of the rooms thats because of the fire that has happened at this hotel! Its Horrible! You cant eat do 2 the Flys landing on your food are cup. So Travelers just be aware that when you do reviews they place you on a do not rent list lol like its hurting you but they are really hurting them selfs. When you have no customers you have no business. The light bill, water bill,etc all still have 2 get paid and customers pay that when they stay. This hotel gets a F for the type of service we got and the treatment we received.

I was very impressed with the room quality, cleanliness, nice guest amenities and staff at this hotel. I was displaced by hurricane beryl for a few days. Even though it was a bit of a drive for me it was so worth it to have AC and a comfortable bed. Love their late breakfast buffet on the weekend and love that they are pet friendly. My well behaved fur babies were displaced too.

Christian and early check-in were the only saving grace on this trip. Our first time here was amazing, so we decided to come back. We were very disappointed this stay. Our A/C wasnt working properly and was leaking all over our floor. We reported it twice before anyone showed up to look at it. They then told us it was a switch that should have been flipped on the thermostat.. spoiler alert, it was not. We were then told someone would come up and vacuum the water out of the carpet. They never showed up. Trash cans throughout the whole property were overflowing the whole weekend, and the pool was in need of a serious shock and cleaning. Christian did his best to help us, but he could only do so much. We are in this area every year but will start looking for other hotels. Rooms: Wet floor and broken AC

We have stayed in ALOT of hotels over the years. This was the BEST hotel we have stayed in and years. We were on follow up MD Anderson appt, and wanted something just outside the city. The location was perfect, the staff was incredible, and the breakfast (free) was awesome!! We will not stay anywhere else when we have to go back. Rooms: We had a suite whit was more like a mini condo. With dishes and everything. Full laundry room right down the hall. Safety: Property was well lit and felt very safe. Noteworthy details: The whole place was immaculate and smelt amazing and clean.

When we got to Hotel last weekend we found out our rooms were booked wrong. We had no suite. This Hotel has only 4 large suites and it turned out one was available. The Hotel front desk staff went over and beyond. They gave us one of the suites for same price we were charged for the wrong room. Great way to treat customers. Thanks

The hotel is nice but housekeeping sucks. We ve been here for 9 days so far and they haven t changed the sheets once. They haven t cleaned any surfaces or floors. They just make the bed with the same sheets, leave towels and leave. And I m aware it s an extended stay. However, housekeeping comes every day and have never cleaned a thing.

Great stay! We were only there for two nights for the CFP championship game, but I had zero complaints about our stay. We were in a room with two queens and the layout of the room was more than I expected. Check-in and checkout were both easy, and the room was clean when we got there. Its about 30 minutes from downtown Houston, but its less than a mile from the freeway so it has pretty easy access if thats where youre headed.

I wanted to like it here I really did. Looked nice. I like staying at Staybridge hotel cause it s with IHG so I get more point towards my Diamond elite membership which is a plus since I basically live in the hotels for work. Let me start out by saying rooms are not the cleanest good thing I carry wipes with me. I wiped down where I was putting my things in one of the rooms and it was pretty dirty also the tubs and showers have mold so you know they dont scrub great I stayed in different rooms some were cleaner than others I figured I ll keep giving this place a shot since it was one of the closest Staybridge to my location I was going everyday but unfortunately it didn t work out. The other part of it is Its a hit and miss with the service here, the guy who is in the afternoon/ night doesnt really say much and when I have to check in its like a waiting game to see when he is going to come to the front and when he s is helping you it seems like it s a chore. The lady who is here at night she the best to deal with she s nice and helpful also I don t know if it was the guy s day off but there was another lady who I checked in with she was very friendly as well. I even thought it was nice that the manager was taking his time to say hi but all it takes is one guy to kill the experience with and this did especially from being tired and all you want to do is lay down instead your waiting to check in and can t even get a friendly simile or apologize, anything Anything would do at that point. Like I said its okay but I stayed in better. If the rooms where clean and had a better person to deal with I would of continued coming here instead I decided to go with a different hotel just thought it was better.

We stayed at this hotel for our weekend trip to Houston. The customer service was great! When we arrived Marisol greeted us with a good attitude and was very friendly. The only reason why I m giving the room 4 stars is because the bed had a small stain. Either than that everything else was good. Nearby activities: The hotel is located just down the road from the highway, with food places and gas stations nearby. Also Buc-ee s is 1.6 miles/4 minutes away. Safety: We re thinking they had a night watch, because my wife told me she saw a car with patrol lights sitting in the parking lot.

This hotel has to be the best value that I have ever stayed! There was free dinner that comes with alcohol (beer or wine). Free breakfast in the morning with such a huge variety. It was a good stay there. I was really impressed by the size and amenities of the room. I deal with construction and all types of ideals on wiring etc. The only thing with the lights that I didnt like was one turn off switch that turned off most the room and the bathroom when switched off. I wasnt able to leave a light on that was dim enough to not be to bright while just hanging around on the bed talking. Only other thing which I believe was addressed by a couple individuals was it seemed like housekeeping missed out on the trash under the sink, a bag of chips in a store bag in the cabinet, and a small pizza box that slide behind that small trash can under the sink in the cabinet. I can understand possibly missing the trash in a rush. Safety concern which is the tub. The brand is an American Standard and since I took a shower and used a bar of soap that made the tub super slippery. Take caution especially if you are elderly or have bad balance. Nothing that a shower mat cant fix. I will still use this hotel from now on. The two cons are not bad enough to deter a stay. I appreciated the staff during check in and the hotel seemed really nice as in upkeep and amenities even in the lounge area and outside.

Great stay, friendly staff, very clean rooms, cute dove brand soaps and lotions in bathroom, lots of great shopping and restaurants. Super comfortable beds and pillows. Tv remote though was absolutely disgusting, like looked like a child shoved mushy food into each button. My only two complaints can t really be fixed but just to let others know; it s a one entrance parking lot with not turning lane so a little difficult to get in and out of. And the walls are so thin! You can hear everything and the maids in the morning are extra loud. So bring ear plugs or a sound machine.

I stayed for about 4 days asked for room service- none. But did, always get asked when I was checking out by the house keeping to see if they needed to come clean but then again- NEVER would come i to CLEAN the room or offer towels, got questioned 800 times when asked for towels and also, had to set the trash outside of the doors, and the dirty towels (which was like wild and trashy to me) but- don t get me wrong- I LOVE the rooms, but- every single time I ve stayed here, there unfortunately is a female at the front desk who has no management above her that will not probably say anything to them for their attitudes and structure to get better, so that s a major downfall. (Mind you this is every time I ve stayed here)- and it s my own fault for coming back knowing how they are, and the manager herself is even worse w attitudes and there is just ABSOLUTELY NO customer service that s on the customers side AT ALL. So idk Win some you lose some. I m guessing since no one will do the right thing and take better care of the guest and not have snotty rude- one way or no way, staff in front- I love the rooms and the prices sometimes. They talked me into becoming an IHG member, I did and was told I d get the same rate every night, I could get 2pm checkout etc etc AND NONE OF THIS HAS BEEN OFFERED TO ME OR WORDS, kept. Again- my fault I just really like the home feeling rooms. Sucks.

This place is absolutely amazing!!! The rooms are so clean! They have everything you could need in room except food haha! Full size fridge in suite room, counter top stove, dishes, silverware, pots, pans , utensils, shampoo, conditioner (big bottles at that), dishwasher too, and more! The workers are absolutely sweet as can be! They have a whole breakfast buffet! Laundry area, workout areas very clean and tidy! This hotel is AWESOME! When I stayed, it was about two years old but looked like it had just opened that week. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and my room was spotless. I also enjoyed a dinner on the hotel when the staff prepared chili dogs for dinner the night that I checked in. I stay in hotels every week and I know a good hotel when I see one. This hotel is not good... it is GREAT! Definitely going to be coming back to Staybridge Suites in Baytown.

Best hotel Ive ever stayed at by far. My family and I evacuated to Texas. Megan helped us make sure we could keep everyone in one hotel. Ty made sure we had everything we needed for our stay and the trip back home. Vanessa put up with all of our questions with a smile on her face. The Hotel was very pet friendly and was the cleanest hotel Ive ever seen. Its located on the main strip in Baytown so you can easily find wherever you need to go. We could not have asked for a better hotel experience.

The staff are the best ever. Came here from Korea being stationed in the area, the Megan the General manager went way out of her way to help make our stay comfortable. The sales director is here greeting people every day, we are very happy with how they take care of you. Plus free beer and wine at night and free meals m-w for dinner.Overall this is a great team running this place. Makes up for any little things that may get in your way.

Great place, Great Value!!! I saw this place was close to my house and suggested to my sisters they stay here. It was SO NICE, I am going to rent myself a room to get away for the weekend! The rooms are self contained, location is close to everything, price was nice!!!

Would rate 10 stars if I could. If youre coming from Louisiana, into Texas, this place is absolutely worth driving a few more hours. We were on the road for nearly 15 hours and just wanted a place that was safe and clean. All we found in LA was unsafe and dirty hotels charging an arm and a leg per night. Staybridge was priced very well, cookies at the door to greet us, kind and friendly staff, clean and safe rooms, comfy beds and rooms, and the best hotel breakfast Ive ever had. MUST STAY AT. We have stayed at staybridges ever since because of this hotel. Also pet friendly, so that gives it more for me too!! I would rate ten stars if I could.

Hands down Dennis, was the best receptionist we ever had. (We travel for work and stay in a lot of hotels) He went above and beyond providing customer service to us, taking care of the issues we had in the first room we got at this location. This guy deserves to be a manager.

Our stay here was great! Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy bed and pillows. Property was very clean and smelled fresh upon entry. Pool area is much more spacious than your average and breakfast was good considering covid regulations (slightly cooler than I d have liked) but overall a really nice experience. We will absolutely stay again!

Where do I even begin ? This hotel is by far the best hotel I ve ever stayed at. Especially extended. The lobby always smells amazing walking through. House keepers are so sweet and do their job well. Everyone is always so friendly and professional. They really do make you feel at home. Our room was very clean. The breakfast is 5 star. They even have dinner 3 nights a week. If you need a place to stay for one night or even longer this is the place. We stayed here for a few weeks while our house was being built and I am beyond pleased with our stay. Will definitely recommend!

The staff here are exceptional. The manager on duty was out in the parking lot in the pouring rain meeting guests at their cars and holding an umbrella for them on their way to the lobby. Both the afternoon and morning receptionists were very friendly and quick offer any assistance. The rooms are very nice and clean. Will definitely stay here again.

Im not gonna go into details but the room that was assigned is totally opposite of the room that I booked online, Im sure its not the hotel fault but a 3rd part issue! Also the toilet is loose, you can literally move it around with your hands!

My main complaint is that there is no awning to drive under when its raining. So here I sit in my car unable to unload my luggage due to the rain storm. I have no idea when this will be over. First hotel I think I have ever been to with no awning. Terrible design folks. It rains alot here in Southeast Texas.

Best place in Baytown,TX!!!! During my home remodeling weve had to stay in local hotels. From the Hilton to Days Inn this has been hands down the best place in town. Excellent room, great customer service & accommodation & design of hotel & rooms are above & beyond..... I think I can make an excuse just to stay here again.

This hotel is simply amazing. The rooms are immaculate. The hotel staff is amazing. If you are in need of anything, they are very efficient in completing the task.
