First time was awesome, went 2 weeks ago with a group of 18 of us, service was ok, guy friendly but the way the tables where set up he had to walk around the whole restaurant to get from 1 side to the other as you are like a sardine. The food was so bad no one finished any of it, got same thing, the meat enchiladas, so salty I didnt eat it, only thing good was the green sauce with the chips you have to pay for. Might try again and see as first time was awesome but this time I felt totally ripped off for over 150 bill to leave completely disappointed.

Great food. Music was nice and not too loud. The steak was cooked perfectly and the salad bar is extensive and satisfying. Id totally recommend trying this place out. You wont be disappointed. Now theres a wait so if you wanna beat it and dont have kids sit at one of the 2 bars

Wish I could give them more stars but what shouldve been a nice birthday party went south and feel this restaurant is partly to blame! They really need to do something better & more about their parking and/or warn people about it! They could put up more signs about it! This was really the cruxt of the problem tonight and REALLY put a damper on our birthday party! It was my daughters 25th birthday & we wanted to try somewhere new &:this was a good middle place. Only one is found parking close by! My daughter had to park at HEB and my Son & his wife and their toddler & baby couldnt find a spot and parked next door at Burger King. In a hurry to not be late and getting out with babies and diaper bag they didnt notice the No Parking sign. My son was really nice and treated us all. He dropped alot of money in this restaurant! We had 2 Appetizers, 5 meals and 3 Desserts! Think the bill was like $179! We had flies landing on us and the music was too loud. You almost had to yell at each other to talk. So after we left we go next door to my sons car to find it GONE!! Freaking Burger King had their car towed with the babys car seats in it...gone now too! Now my poor son is out more money to get his car back from the Wrecker Company! I feel like its nothing but a big racket and scam between Cactus Jack and the Tow company and Burger King! It would be nice if Cactus Jacks would warn their customers or put up signs about the parking situation! Apparently BK & Popeyes next door management doesnt have anything better to do than watch the cameras on the parking lot and likes to pick on hard working families with kids! Rich people who drive Lamborghinis and Land Cruisers obviously dont get towed because we witnessed it during this fiasco! We wont be back to this restaurant being as they dont care much about their customers! Greedy greedy greedy!

Place wasn t actually that bad, but there was obsoletely no parking, trucks and jeeps parked up on the curve everywhere. Made the mistake of parking next door at Burger King, and I didn t see their tiny towing signs. Come out of the restaurant, to find out my car got towed by the owner of the Burger King. I would had parked at Cactus Jack s if they had any space. My family and me were stranded there, and then had to pay $325 dollars to get my car out of impound. Won t be visiting Cactus Jack or that Burger King ever again. Your warned ..

Yesterday was our first time at Cactus Jack s after talking about going for several months. Man, we should have gone sooner! Food was awesome and the outdoor playground was perfect for keeping the kid entertained. They have an awesome salad bar, a wide variety on the menu and plenty of drink options. Atmosphere was perfect with numerous tv s set up to watch the game and our waitress Stephanie was awesome! We will definitely be back!

Salad bar next to the bathrooms and yes you can smell the bathrooms and they don t bus the table until you leave so the dirty plates just stack up and sit there. Excellent place! Atmosphere is awesome. Great bar seating, indoor seating and outdoor seating with huge TV and playground for the kids. The cracklin deviled eggs were good but a little rubbery , the 3 pepper cheesesteak was amazing (lots of cheese if that s an issue for you), and the chicken fried steak is to die for. It s huge - like super huge. Salad bar was. I ve but I wouldn t do it for a full meal. It wasn t as amazing as other reviews I read. Great service. Plenty of parking.

I recently had lunch at Cactus and had an exceptional experience. Our waitress, Steph, provided the best service Ive ever encountered. The girls at the front door were attentive and quickly sat me at a table. BRIANA, decended from heaven and gave me the best service I have ever had at any restaurant. She suggested appetizers, meal selection , and dessert. I think the dessert was meant to scare me. It was a double decker of awesomeness. My steak was perfectly cooked. BRIANA checked on me constantly. Incredible server, ask for her if you want the best experience backed by the most beautiful smile. There was one guy standing there with a black tube, scanning the restaurant, waiting for people to leave. Once they left, he would pounce on that table and clean it. The couple to my left got up after their meal, headed to the door, that table was cleaned before they could get outside. Yes,Ill be back for sure. The most impressive restaurant experience Ive seen in years. I felt valued as a customer. Briana deserves 10 stars,not 5. The manager came out to speak with me and confirmed that the colossal dessert was not a prank but the normal portion. I ate as much as I could, and it still didnt fit in the to-go box. Briana told me Id have dessert for 3 days if I ordered it. 100% bullseye experience if you come to cactus jack. Ill be back.

Great place to take the family or friends. Great atmosphere and great food. This was my first trip in and I will definitely be back again sometime soon. I had the all American burger, great burger with a delicious slice to bring the flavors together. The French fries are similar to McDonalds in size but are seasoned and fried to a perfect crisp. Parking: Great sized lot, was able to find parking without a problem. Kid-friendliness: Lots of families with Kids and a playground connected to them entertained. Wheelchair accessibility: They have big wide doors and a ramp to get you through the multiple level of the dining area

Papi was our server today, it was our first experience here (table of 6) and it was soooo delicious! We tried the chicken fried steak, fried shrimp, enchilada and taco plate and the tdawg steak. Had baked potatoes and the Salad bar was amazing. The atmosphere is amazing for all, can t wait to come back and bring our children for the outdoor playground! Drinks were also on point!!!! The vibe is awesome. The bar is our favorite spot. They have a bar inside and on the patio. All the management is attentive and always checking on you. My kids are obsessed with the pizza!!! Best pizza and drinks in town!

*Update: theyve got there full menu now. There is a good selection now. The food was very good, the portions were large and the service was great! Really good salad bar. Still on the pricey side for certain items. Most are fairly priced.* Nice place. The food is good but, overpriced. The menu is very limited. The staff are very nice but were very unorganized. Orders kept going to the wrong tables, orders werent right, orders were doubled and even tripled. Id just soon go somewhere else. I went once and thats enough for me. Legit! Salad bar was above and beyond... it had the freshest salad, any toppings you could ever want, giant blocks of cheese to shave and fresh hot rolls. Place was huge with lots of seating, indoor and outdoor. Large playground for kids. I has the signature burger and partner had the cowboy ribeye. Both were amazing. On Wednesday, August 28, my family had the best waitress at Cactus Jacks. Our waitress, Hannah West, greeted us promptly, listened to our wants, made appropriate suggestions, talked clearly where we could understand, brought our food out promptly, greeted us each time with a smile when she came to our table, and was overall just sweet and kind. I was so impressed by her that I decided to leave a review. This is the first review I have ever made a public review. Ask for Hannah West when you go to Cactus Jacks.

We met my uncle halfway here between mid county & Houston to celebrate my late grandmas birthday, and it was such a good time! Our server, Papi, was the bestttt!! He was so good with my four year old and made sure we had everything we wanted and more! The food was delicious - i got the chicken bruschetta, and my little got the salmon and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Next time we come, i will 100% be asking for Papi! (PS. The bartender made the most balllllin martinis )
