10 out of 10!!! Came by to grab some lunch on my break my food was ready very fast and was hot and crispy !! The general tso was super flavorful with a tad bit of spice. (If you don t like spice ask for light spice bc it had a kick for sure which is something I like. Huge portion for a small price I will be going back!

I would have given 5 stars except that I felt that the portion sizes were a little small for the price. Especially the rice. There should have been 2 containers of rice for 2 dinner platters. White steamed rice would have been fine although the fried rice was delicious. We just wished there was more of it.

I always get the tofu delight. They skimped out on the cabbage. I wanted a refund, but they wouldn t refund me, but offered more cabbage, so I said fine. I get back and there s still not a lot of cabbage. Like I only order this for the cabbage. And then the one by the drive thru said oh you should have told me girl I called 3 times wym. And drove to yall twice. I come through almost every Tuesday, like I know what it s supposed to look like. Manager offered no help. It sucks because I liked yall but nvm.

I stopped in on Friday and ordered some 3 different types sushi and a combination plate. Waited for my food and they told me it was ready. I grabbed my bags and left. After getting home with my food I was missing my combination. I called them and a female answered the phone, I told her I was missing my combination and she gave the phone over to a man who said oh yes, it s right here . I returned to retrieve my missing food thru the drive thru as there was no one in line. The female opened the window and I explained that I was there for my missing combination. She rolled her eyes at me and said it will be awhile, the kitchen is closed. I looked at her is shock and told her I just called and the man said it was right there. She then told me Don t give her attitude it s not her fault I then told her I just drove all the way back for this food and she doesn t even know anything after I just spoke with her on the phone. She slammed the window and spoke to the man who pointed at the food. She grabbed it and came to hand it to me at the window. I then told her she needs to know what the hell is going on before she opens HER mouth with ATTITUDE. She got more upset and told me to get out the hell out of there an just leave. I then cussed at her and left. I m sorry but first of all they made the mistake and secondly to get mad at the customer for it is crazy! Thirdly the man who seemed like the manager just stood behind this female and alloyed her to yell and cuss at me, so unprofessional! Never will I support this establishment again!

I have been coming to pineapple express since it has opened. The food has been very hot in fresh until today. I ordered the house lo mein, Orange chicken and egg rolls. The house lo main whats cold. The orange chicken was overcooked in needed extra sauce. Not satisfied with the service at all. Then I brought my mother to try out the food. And she had to warm the food up in the microwave. We stay around a corner from pineapple express this is ridiculous.

Updated review: Do not order from their web based menu. When you get there, they will claim they didnt get the order, and run your card - while assuring you your card was not run on the web order. You only find out later both charges were run. Good food but the wait has been insane the last several times Ive been there. It didnt help the last time I was there they ran out of rice.

I used to really enjoy the smoothies, particularly the honey dew flavor. I saw that the price had gone up since I last ordered but I didnt mind. What isnt increasing in price nowadays. However, once I ordered the smoothie, I was incredibly aggravated. It tasted like water. Granted it had been a while since I ordered one but Ive been obsessed with the honey dew smoothie for a few years now. What I received today was practically flavorless. It seems, in addition to the price increase, theyve changed the way the smoothies are made? IDK. Its getting harder to justify spending money on items that arent necessities, but I finally convinced myself to make the purchase. I regret it.

don t understand the great reviews. Beware if you get a combination plate . Ordered the shrimp chow mein and sweet and sour chicken. Quite literally got 4 thin pieces of chicken, a 1/2 cup of nasty fried rice and 6 shrimp that were smothered in a nasty clear sauce. It s relatively cheap almost $10 for the plate. But you can obviously tell the skimp on all the food. If i would ve known that i was going to get 4 small pieces of chicken and the small amount of shrimp i would ve never gotten it. The only good thing was the egg rolls and the cheese puffs(very small). Won t be back.

Food was burnt! Sesame chicken and egg rolls were burnt and they forgot one of my items in my delivery. I called and had waitr speak to them for me and they said it was cooked correctly. Well Pinapple little did you know I am regular and used to bring business partners and clients in for lunch. I will not be returning do to your handling of the situation. Orange Chicken and Generals chicken were both burnt to the point it was near impossible to chew. Lo Mein tasted like the meat used went bad before being used. Only good part of the order was the Sushi. Was ordered through door dash so the part I thought would have been iffy would have been sushi. Good food when they get your order correct. Check any food u order for pickup BEFORE u leave. Many times I have picked up food and got it home and some items are wrong. Ive ordered dragon rolls there and they give me shaggy dog rolls which is tasty also but costs less than the dragon roll and Ive had to go back to get the refund. My fiance and I used to eat here all the time, it was great, the original people here made it seem like a small family owned Chinese place. Just great. However, the people running it changed recently, and the food changed. Its just not as good anymore. We couldnt even finish our meals and ended up leaving to go eat somewhere else. Usually love this place, but (like everyone else seems to be doing nowadays) their food seems to be getting a bit lacking. The smoothie I got this time was more like a snow cone smoothie, (very icy) they used to be more creamy. Also the Dragon roll I got was very good but lacking the eel on top, there was only 2 pieces with a thin slice. Bummer.. I really use to love this place.

I usually order from here through doordash once every other week, but this will be my last time. Too many other Asian restaurants that have standards. The last few times the food was completely subpar. I always order general Tao chicken with chicken fried rice and three egg rolls. Used to, the chickens coating was crispy and the chicken tasted fresh. This time it was completely soggy and tasted like it was put in a microwave or something. Just a really odd taste. Did not get sweet and sour sauce for my egg rolls and the chicken fried rice tasted old. If this is new management or a new cook, I suggest hiring the old ones back asap.

We typically do take out from here EVERY Saturday night. But, I am frustrated! Never is our meal consistent! Last night our 2 orders of chicken wings were overly breaded, huge hunks of greasy batter! yuk! Oh man we found a Diamond in the rough here! $35 got us 2 combination plates (entree, fried rice, fried shrimp, egg roll) a large strawberry boba smoothie, 6 cheese puffs, a California roll and a large Wonton soup. The cheese puffs are bomb and made fresh. We are obsessed with the wonton soup! My son loved the sesame chicken and strawberry boba smoothie. The prices are EXCELLENT just like the service. The orange chicken did not have a lot of orange flavor but it was still very good. I was expecting for the sushi to be a bit better. They were on the thin side and didnt have a whole lot of flavor. overall we definitely enjoyed this place and will be returning.

Ordered online for delivery: Chow mein doesn t even look like chow mein I ve ever had. it looks like a poor veggie soup with no noodles AT ALL, people from the restaurant told me Chow mein are not noodles Google it bro. Sorry I m not the one to complain, but $40 worth of food and it is just not worth it AT ALL. Rice no good, sweet and sour pork = 4 pieces of over-fried pork. I know for a fact Chow mein has noodles and this was boiled chicken and veggies in a suspicious liquid. Spring rolls are not true spring rolls. Sorry, never again for me. the orange chicken was alright

I didn t get the lady at the windows name but she provided excellent service! On top of that the food was absolutely delicious and fresh. I have prob tried every Chinese restaurant in town and I can t say any others are better. Highly recommend the general chicken and the egg rolls

Man I thought I d trust Baytown s word on this place, but it s gross. Sorry, but not really sorry. All I had was shrimp lo mein, the shrimp was gross. A strawberry boba, and the boba is gross. A WHITE RICE (I emphasized white, and its brown and tastes burnt). And egg rolls. The egg rolls are disgusting without s&s, I m glad I got extra s&s, that s the only thing I can really eat.

I have ordered from this place many times after a friend of mine told me about it. The building is extremely old, and honestly looks downright rundown. However, don t let that fool you. The food was absolutely delicious, and made fresh to order. I have used delivery through DoorDash and ate inside. Every single time they don t disappoint. The food is ALWAYS good, ALWAYS hot, ALWAYS right, and ALWAYS friendly staff if you order inside or in the drive-thru. Don t let the look of the building hold you back, try it you ll be glad you did. My kid s and I love their orange chicken, and general chicken.

Love the taste of this restaurant, I ordered the chicken brocoli and I loved that they always do the food fresh is not like sitting there the whole day. I also ordered taro smoothie the best one for me when they serve it is purple in the pictures they have in the menu is yellow but order this one is good. We also ordered the chicken fried rice the plates are big so expect to get some leftovers . The chicken noodles soup that I ordered was to go and when I got home I saw that they also put shrimp in the plate so beware that if you dont like shrimp let them know not to put it on otherwise you will get the surprise of it on the plate. If you are on the area make sure to visit the place is definitely one of the restaurants you dont want to miss. They do have dine in option even though is not to big to gather many people you can still have a chance to have a table to eat there since most of the people order to go. Check my pictures to have an idea of what the plates looks like. Congrats to all the people who works there super friendly and great service.
