I had the good fortune to locate Mr. Jeffries as a result of my divorce. I located him via a Google search and upon reading the excellent reviews of him, contacted him for an initial consultation. I immediately felt very assured of his competency and knew he was not just extremely capable, but he was also kind and empathetic. Wade maintained those characteristics throughout the time we worked together. Going through a divorce can put us in a vulnerable state. Nerves are raw, thoughts are scattered. Its important to have an attorney who is not only going to give you the best possible outcome, but who also calms you, is patient with you, and who genuinely cares about you. I highly recommend Mr. Jeffries. I called him because my puppy had been stolen and needed advice on the best route forward. He gave me upfront, honest advice, and was empathetic to my situation. Given the difficulty in finding help for a situation like this, I was very grateful for Mr. Jeffries. Once again, I highly recommend him. UPDATE: The nature of our situation changed and we needed to hire Wade. Let me tell you, best decision we ever made. Wade is the best! Well I had a crazy child custody case and probably the worse divorce case attorneys come across, I still remember I called Mr Wade with tears in my eyes but he listened to me very closely and understood the severity and sensitivity of my case, I did explained him how I did not had too much money and was budgeted, I was touched that Mr Wade waived off his personal consultation and much more since I had to explained him my case and my situation which took hours as my case was very heavy and I really appreciate his generosity. Mr Wade is a true gentleman and a loving father himself who understands the needs of children which helped me gain confidence in him as my attorney since I was looking for someone who cares about a parent child relationship more than just money. I secured Mr Wade s service and he took care of my case even after his role was finished since he care about a parent and a child s relationship which normally other attorneys will never do. Scott Herlihy is the best. He is a straight shooter so you dont waste a lot of time ($) discussing things that arent helpful. He knows the law and will make sure that you walk away with everything possible. My custody case was complex due to mental health and addiction problems with the other party. He helped me fight for the best interest of my child to ensure safety precautions were put in place. I cant say enough about Mr. Herlihy and everything he has done for us.

I met Wade through a friend going to a similar custody situation. I highered him shortly before I was due to be back in court. He was very up front with what would need to be done in order for him to take my case. He provided his best advice regarding my case and was clear about the realistic expectations and possible outcomes. I could not appreciate that more. Wade did not have much time to really review my case before things started to take place, but he was on top of his game and he represented me better than any attorney I have had before. He doesnt BS. I contacted Wade Jefferies about pending litigation against me. Wade clearly explained all my options to me in the case. He said he could represent me in court, but also gave me everything I would need to represent myself, pro se. For this case, we opted to go on the offensive pre-trial and Wade got the opposing attorney to drop the case before we even went to trial. Wade definitely knows what he is doing defending in a litigation case and after this experience, there is no one I would rather have in my corner than Mr. Jefferies if I even find myself in that situation again.

Wade has advised and represented our businesses for numerous years. His advise, counsel and representation have netted us significant gains and windfalls. In addition, Wade obtained a judgment on our behalf against a well known con-man in Austin who defrauded us. At the time Wade obtained the judgment, there were several prefected judgements ahead of us. Wade diligently pursued collection efforts, had a fraudulent lien against his non exempt assets set aside, and showed up at his house with a Writ of Execution and the Constable who seized his prized sports car, motorcycle, gun collection and watch collection to satisfy a portion of the judgment. We enjoyed driving the fraudster s car for many years. The fraudster then moved to California and restarted his con. When Wade discovered a California individual obtained a judgment against him, Wade convinced the individual to purchase our judgment. Highly recommended!

I hired Wade when my childrens mother moved my one and two year old children to Houston without my consent and had the Houston Attorney Generals Office file a child support action in Houston against me. Wade immediately filed a Suit Affecting Parent Child Relationship lawsuit in Austin, had the Houston Attorney Generals case dismissed and obtained an Order naming me as the Possessory Conservator with primary possession. Wade responded to my texts and calls immediately and was thoroughly prepared at the hearing. Excellent Attorney!
