I ve been hearing about this new restaurant and it did not disappoint! Came with a friend for a light lunch on the patio and everything about this place screams classic Austin. I highly recommend sitting on the patio, even on hot days, as it s covered, has sun screens, and best of all fan misters! Plus you get a great ambiance of a good lake Austin view. The food was tasty but a little on the pricier side. And their menu was well labeled for gluten free options! I will definitely be coming back again! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options

Beautiful location but the food was pretty bad all around. My French dip was cold, bread not toasted unseasoned. Even the au juis was cold. Ranch for the fries was thick hidden valley . My mom s fish was so raw in the middle it has to be sent back. Manager talked to us and comped it which was great service. Maybe I d come back for cocktails but definitely not food.

Fantastic Restaurant right by the water. Perfect spot to watch the sunset on Lake Austin. Great Mediterranean food and healthy food options. Small portions so get a starter to share! We came to dinner tonight with high expectations to this place to celebrate my niece birthday but this restaurant it was not what we expected at all, to start we order champagne and it was not cold, we asked multiple times to our server to put it properly but it seems like it was too hard for our server, the service was extremely slow, our server was more focused on another big party instead of us and ended up shadowing our celebration were not coming back again

Drinks came out 1 at a time 15 minutes apart. I waited 25 minutes for my drink when the waiter came back and said they didnt serve crown. Oysters were not texas Oysters. They were the size of a quarter. Our food came out at different times and cold, they said sorry and thats it. Well, Ill take that back. They said they could microwave it for us.Guitary was added automatically, so the waiter didnt care. There were 5 people attending. May for couples, but I would not recommend going again.

Lets start with the great things - the view is breathtaking, the appetizers were good and their Smooth Hummos is one of the best in town. It actually has flavor with some garlic and spices. The not so good (that they cant do much about) is the cigarette smoke that comes from either Hula Hut or the other restaurant. It was so strong that I felt like I was eating nicotine Now the main entries - I ordered the rice bowl with meat, and the beef was burnt and dry. The Ahí Tuna comes with a HUGE tower of kale and 6-7 slices of tuna that are very salty. I hear the burgers were good (my son got full after eating half). So.. Will I return? Probably not. Though the service was great and the view amazing, I dont like eating nicotine and I like fresher meat.

The location is great and I like how there is always a table available, however, the food (hummus, burger, fries, risotto, chicken sandwich, octopus) is bland, basic and overpriced. This is a cute place right on the lake. The drinks were good and the food was pretty good as well. We got the Peruvian fries with brisket. It was just okay, the fries were bland and it could ve used more brisket. We also got the mixed combo fried rice which was just okay as well the chicken and the steak were dry. Came here for my friends birthday. The service was very poor. They charged us for tap water, they wouldn t split the check after we booked only contingent on that and asked very specifically if they would. Food is over priced for tiny portions and okay food. There are far better restaurants in Austin for the same price and better vibes and better service. I could easily name 20. The manager was unhelpful and unfriendly when we tried to work things out with them. Believe his name is Alif. Go to hula hut if you want to be on the lake. Go anywhere else for a birthday party or group party.

I have visited twice now. Once on the first floor, outside. Second visit, we sat indoors. While the food and drinks are on point, this review is mainly to highlight experiences I had with employees both visits. I manage an apartment community in downtown Austin, so when I see people going above and beyond on service, I believe it should be noted. Hands down, Alif (sp?), the floor manager at the time, has the most unbelievably infectious energy. I needed help to coordinate a special moment for friends of mine. I laid this on Alif 15 minutes before they arrived. Man, he was so lovely and able to make accommodations for us, completely hassle-free. By the time I left, it felt like he was proper family. The next day, I returned to pick up some things and the host Reese (sp?), was so nice over the phone and eager to help get the things I needed ready for me in advance so I didnt have to wait long upon arrival. He offered this without my prompting. When I arrived, he remembered our conversation and had everything ready for me. Super attentive. Super memorable experience. Two others to note. Kai (sp?), another host, answered a lot of questions for me over the phone without hesitation. I called a few times. She was very friendly. I didnt feel like a bother, although Im sure I probably was lol. And finally, a shout out for Jerrod (sp?), bartender in the back, outdoor bar. This man can pour a drink! He is crazy knowledgeable, has an inviting presence, and you could totally feel comfortable sitting at the bar with him and enjoying the view! I would go back a million times over knowing they have employees like this. I even spoke with Alif about moving our corporate holiday party there, I was so impressed with their level of service. My experience at quince was a mixture of things, the experience by the water in itself was great as well as my service by Kelsey ( if I m not mistaken ) was impecable and sincere. She provided substantial knowledge of the menu and was a great conversation. On that front I was extremely pleased. My only distaste was that on my way into the establishment I was greeted by a manager I believe whom seemed to question why I was there instead of welcoming me cordially and with grace for being in the establishment. Having run several restaurants I feel that if a manager welcomes a guest in this fashion then the value at what they hold their employees must not be that high or effective in terms of having a successful buisiness

We had a 6 top at 8:15 outside with amazing view of the water. Food and drinks were all very good but the night took a turn when the server accidentally spilled a brown soy based sauce on one of our friends. She had white linen pants that were covered. From that moment management did not make much of an effort if help besides bringing a towel and cup of sparkling water. No follow up to see how she was, no offer to take care of that persons property that was damaged. We basically had to argue with management to have her meal comped and we all paid which was fine but took 30 minutes of back and forth to get to that resolution. Very disappointed overall in how management handled the situation. I paid $230 for my wife and I, didn t ask for anything besides taking care of the person who left the restaurant mid meal with damaged clothing. Seemed like a very reasonable ask which the managers made quite difficult. We have been a few times but will probably not return again from the way this incident left us feel. Highly suggest service recovery training. Mistakes happen in any business but it s how you respond that makes the difference.

Great spot for a date or dinner with friends! It s right on the water with beautiful views. We sat outside on a hot day and they had lots of fans and misters that kept us cool. Our server Dogukan was so sweet and attentive. The food is delicious and they have so many options for different palates. Their sushi is surprisingly delicious for not being a sushi restaurant. Highly recommend. Parking: Parking is free at oyster landing across the street.

We were traveling for family time and stopped in before heading to our destination. The view is beautiful and sets a great atmosphere. The service was excellent and super friendly. Our server was Quentin and he was very nice, attentive and gave us great recommendations on the menu. Our food was delicious. They have great options and variety. Everything was delicious and tasted fresh. We had the sushi style app, risotto, salmon, cocktails and an amazing cobbler for dessert. Would love to go again whenever we re back in town.

Just had dinner here, and wow, the service was top-notch! Our server, Taylor, was amazing. They greeted us with a big smile and made us feel right at home. Taylor really knew the menu inside and out, suggesting some awesome dishes that we ended up loving. Beautiful view and nice atmosphere, but food and service is SERIOUSLY lacking. We mustve waited 15 minutes just to be acknowledged both at the hostess stand and at our table. I was excited to try this place because the menu looks amazing, but the food is really lacking in flavor. We had the Peruvian Fries served Austin style which according to the menu had some inventive flavor combos, but they were no better than McDonalds fries with hot cheese whiz and BBQ. Just not flavorful at all, couldnt taste the rosemary, or the truffle flavors at all. I ordered the Octopus which was good, but SUPER spicy and overcooked. All I could taste was char flavor and heat. Dinner mates had salads and burgers, which again, were pretty mid. We ordered a few cocktails which also sounded so tasty, but basically didnt have any alcohol at all in them. Myself and one dining mate switched to white wine, and while I realize whites arent supposed to be cold-cold, they were literally room temp. Lastly, our server was acceptable but we could tell he was either high or he really did not care at all about providing a superb experience, which I would expect for a restaurant with $15-20 drinks and $30-50 entrees. We wont be back, it just wasnt enough of a good experience to earn another visit when there are other fantastic restaurants with better everything.

The food and atmosphere here is very nice. Good drink menu and food options. We were very underwhelmed but the lack of service though. It took about 25 minutes to get 1/2 dozen raw oysters. Then about 45 minutes to receive our entrees after ordering. Also having to flag down our waitress for another cocktail after being empty for 10-15 minutes. Cool place but the service could be a lot better.

We did not have a good experience at all. The hostesses were in dirty raggedy outfits. Not a good first impression. We sat in the bar area and the bartender completely ignored our kids when getting drink orders. Food took almost two hours. They took off some of the food and we still gave a really nice tip, but we won t go back. Such a bummer, this place could be awesome, but it wasn t good.

Came here for my wife s birthday with a large group of 16 - half kids/half adults. They accommodated us very well and made it known that they were happy to do so. The food & drinks came out quickly and correctly. Our server, Billy, couldn t have been better. He was tasked with taking orders from two separate tables and never missed a beat. Very genuine, enthusiastic server that made the lunch a very enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend Quince as I think it hit all makes. We will be back.
