The city of Austin did an amazing job the planning and setting up the Pridefest this year. The venue was a great spot. Plenty of shade trees and whatnot. Pretty nice area right downtown Austin.

Cool park, and nice trail to walk. I definitely wouldnt go there at night. Great place for a walk or a run and there are some adjacent basketball courts that were covered. I saw a guy washing his car at the park witch was wicked weird but I guess free water. Overall a nice park but not really amazing. Playground: There are play areas for childern. Toilets: Filthy, filthy, filthy Dog-friendliness: Friendly for dogs. Picnic area: Space for having a picnic seemed clean and nice.

I do Tai Chi in the park here with HME Austin and really love it. There is a great view of the lake, lots of open space, big shade trees and decent restrooms nearby. I subtract a star due to the trash accumulation from people living in tents there, but dont let that keep you from gathering here.
