This law firm comes up when you google selling judgements so my wife tried to contact them a few times over the course of a few days. No response at all. At least tell her you dont buy them anymore or something. I guess it is telling that they are not on Facebook and never answer their phone. Google should remove them as an option to sell the judgements to.

Don t trust Adam Pugh he s the worst attorney I ve ever seen. He literally will tell you what you want to hear to get your case and then do no follow up work even when asked several times in email!

For more than a decade I have had the privilege of serving as mediator or arbitrator in cases with Adam Pugh and David Slater. They are top-notch professionals who are zealous advocates for their clients but also wise counselors.

We have several energy and construction related companies that Adam and Kevin have provided services for over the past few years. Communication and expectations have been great. I would recommend this firm to anyone looking for honest, hardworking people you can partner with long term to help with your legal issues.

It seems like most of the negative reviews are from people who were on the other side of the lawsuit from Slater Pugh. Thats good reason to hire them.

I have had the pleasure of working with this firm for over 5 years and on various matters. I have always found them to provide excellent education of the situation and of their processes at each step. Slater Pugh consists of a team of prompt, knowledgeable, skilled attorneys and staff. They really take things down to the root, explain it in terms that anyone could understand, then efficiently and effectively work to resolve. Ive even received help from Slater Pugh during desperate situations where I wasnt really certain where to turn it to, and theyve always made it seem so easy and brought positive outcomes. They are also very compassionate as well as straight forward. Ive happily recommended this firm to other people and other professionals for years and throughly enjoy continuing our business relationship with Slater Pugh.

I paid off fees $1,500 for HOA since March of last year, and my account still in collections. Im seriously calling channel 5 and telemundo to tell about the mental anguish this problem has caused me.

July 2014 - I try contacting SPL about questions I have about a paying off a lien from an HOA. I leave several messages for Katy Pugh, which is the only number on the letter saying I owe them money. No communication back. This continues through October. At this point, I have left double digit messages. Finally, in October, I email Adam Pugh, which I am guessing is in relation to Slater Pugh, and get a response back from Katy Sportsman, which I assume is the secretary or paralegal. I have a ton of questions about the charges, but it has been so difficult to get any communication back, I end up just submitting full payment that very week. Again, I dont hear back from anyone so I assume it may take a couple weeks to process. Ok, I will be patient. Early December, after contacting my HOA, they said they were unable to access my account bc it was still with Slater Pugh Law. Late December, Katy Sportsman finally contacts me back, claiming it was the HOAs fault for the funds not being applied. I continue to call my HOA and leave messages with Katy Sportsman back and forth. My HOA saying they are still waiting to see payment from SPL. On Jan 27th, the HOA tells me they have not seen ANYTHING from SPL. I again, call and email Katy, and leave another message, asking her to let me know immediately when they send the payment over. Guess what, no word back from Katy Sportsman. In February, I finally hear from my HOA, not Katy,or anyone from SPL, saying my account is finally accessible again. Then, I see a $322 bill from Slater Pugh Law, tacked onto my HOA bill. Of course, nobody from SPL will contact me back about this. I have been on the phone for hours with my HOA. Apparently, this is not Katy Sportsmans first time to have negative feedback from my HOA. I am not sure if this is just this law firm operates, or if it is just in the hands of Katy Sportsman. Either way, it is unacceptable. If you have any choice, I would certainly not use SPL. That is, unless, you enjoy playing a single sided phone and email tag game. And then get charged hundreds of dollars for it.
