I am a nurse practitioner in Texas. Working with the BON is never easy or fun. After 18 months, I decided I needed help. I did a lot of research on lawyers and thought Taralynn Mackay would be a good choice. She contacted me within 24 hours and got to work on my case. She quickly got things accomplished. She stayed in touch with me the entire process. We had to wait on the BON again, but when we heard from them it was the best news ever. Without Ms. Mackay I dont think I would have had this good outcome. I highly recommend Ms. Mackay. I dont plan on ever going through this process again, but if I do - I know I will call her without hesitation.

I had a RN licensing mess on my hands and was dealing with it from the East Coast. From the onset Ms. Mackay gave me the information and reassurance that she could get my case dismissed or exhaust all efforts trying. As a nurse, she understands the nuances of licensing laws in Texas and deals with the BON directly. Other attorneys I spoke with claimed to have the same expertise, but it was very clear by their language and lack of understanding, that they did not. So glad I went to Taralynn. Within a month my charges were dismissed. No hidden or extra fees. She was very clear and straightforward. I cannot thank her and her team enough! Such an enormous relief.

Mrs. Mackay is very patient with questions and helped me understand and process difficult events. I had so many questions and even when she answered them in detail, I would often ask her the same questions or to clarify things due to the situation causing me great anxiety and having a hard time processing what was going on. Yet not once has she ever showed impatience or annoyance with my repeated questions and long phone calls despite her having every right to do so. Having anything to do with the BON is a very serious and stressful event, and having someone who is very professional, patient and understanding, like Taralynn, on your side is a blessing.

Taralynn Mackay has been wonderful in helping me get my nursing career started. I had issues in the past that would have prevented me from attending nursing school. She was able to help sort through those concerns and deal with the Texas Board of Nursing so that I can attend nursing school and sit for the NCLEX-RN exam. She responded quickly to all my questions. Thank you, Ms. Mackay!

Tim Weitz is experienced, diligent, and very well respected in the medical law circles. I was fortunate to come across Tim to help me deal with a difficult experience early in my career. I highly recommend him in any legal capacity that he serves. Thank you for everything Tim. You and your brother are a true blessing.
