For those of you that dont know this person is selling food out of their house. Theres literally just a little container that you go pick your food up in someones yard. I paid $40 for what would probably cost me 10 bucks at a food truck and it wasnt even that good. I dont know how all the other reviews are so high they probably ordered it off of food delivery service. I wouldnt buy this again. If the portions were double what they are I probably give it 4-5 stars. It was absolutely tiny amount.

I ve known the owner for over 10+ years and definitely can attest to her cooking as being top notch in taste, quality and handled with the ultimate care. She takes pride in providing delicious meals whether it be breakfast, lunch, a quick snack, dinner and even desserts. I definitely think everyone should give her food a try at least once and you ll be hooked! I have been ever since she made my first meal in college lol you won t be disappointed:)

10/10 food, quality, and service. If you re thinking about ordering, just do it! The food is amazing and Alexandria s customer service is out of this world. There was a misunderstanding with my order and it was canceled. Alexandria called me personally to rectify the issue and offered to remake my meal free of charge. I got the following: Bourbon Wings in Ca Gave: 4/5 Great smoky flavor and crunch. A bit smaller than I would have liked, but tasty. Gullah Brunch with catfish: 5/5 The flavor in this dish is out of this world. I ve never had anything like this before. The catfish was seasoned well and crunchy. The polenta grits with the okra and peppers is such a unique flavor combination that is so fresh and delicious. The aioli on top is really like the cherry on top that ties the savoriness of the dish together. Shrimp and Grits: 5/5 These are not your everyday shrimp and grits - and that s a good thing! I get shrimp and grits all the time, so I ve had them made so many different ways, but nothing like these. The fusion of cajun and Gullah flavors in this will knock your socks off. My only complaint is that I wanted more shrimp, but that s because I m greedy lol! She also added 2 drinks. I m not sure the names of them, one was orange and the other was red. Both were delicious! Sweet, but not too sweet.

I needed food catered at the last minute for a friend and her family. I read great things about LE Meals and when I called Alexandria was very accommodating of my last minute request. The food smelled amazing, and I wish I had ordered extra for myself! Though I didnt taste it myself, I got rave reviews back from my friend who said they particularly liked the Gullah Brunch and the adults didnt even get a chance to try the Geechee Alfredo because the kids ate it so fast!

Amazing!!! If you are looking for AUTHENTIC Creole/Gullah cuisine in the central Austin area you must get pickup/delivery here! I ordered the shrimp n grits, and it was absolutely divine! The flavors were so on point and wasn t salty or greasy (as I ve had with other places in the city). The ingredients were super fresh also! I didn t feel lethargic or heavy after having it either, which I really liked. You can tell that a lot of passion went into the food! I will definitely continue to enjoy it!

I recently checked out LE Meals who partnered with Quornucopia. All I to say is trust that Ill be back to try everything on the menu. That house marinara sauce is something I could eat every single day! Yall better not sleep on LE Meals. When your food leads with family recipes to create mouth watering meals.... THIS. IS. THE. First of all, the owner s service was stellar, very charismatic and welcoming. I got the Gullah Brunch and Bourbon Wings with Potato Wedges. When I tell you the FLAVOR was so delicious...it was DELICIOUS. There s nothing like this food in Austin; even though this is a new business, I consider this a hidden treasure. I am always on the lookout for new restaurants in my neighborhood (Hancock/Hyde Park) and was intrigued when I saw the page for LE Meals. I had never seen or heard of it (despite the glowing reviews). Needless to say the crowd was right. We got the Gullah Brunch for two. I have never had fried catfish that is so moist and flaky on the inside yet crispy on the outside. The polenta was very flavorful and the sauce to top it off was amazing. Disregard the unassuming looks of the restaurant, it is well worth the visit (take out only). Alexandria is very nice and clearly put lots of love into preparing the meals. I hope that one day there will be some picnic tables out on the front or back.

I absolutely love LE Meals. I tried it on a whim a few weeks back from Favor delivery and have ordered several times since. I find myself craving the Gullah brunch constantly. The flavors and textures are unmatched, the food always comes hot and fresh, the banana pudding is amazing, and to top it all off all delivery and to-go materials are compostable. Do not hesitate to try this Gullah-Geechee masterpiece.

Updating my review as of the ice storm in Austin, I cannot thank LE Meals enough. My apartment has been destroyed by exploding pipes and I am without power and water and they provided and delivered a hot meal to me today which has immensely helped me and my mindset. This meal was AWESOME. Ordering was simple, pickup was a little unpredictable with timing, but it was so worth it. We got the shrimp and grits, Nola brunch, okra stew and Maque Choux. All of it was rich, hearty and so, so tasty. Surprisingly, the Maque Choux might have been my favorite part of the meal. Definitely coming back for the Melanin Goddess, which she happened to be out of that day. Highly recommend!

Ordered from favor today! The food was so delicious. I got the Gullah-Geechee Alfredo, and it was seasoned so very beautifully. There was a good amount of crab meat in it shredded so it would be in every bite but not overpowering. I removed one star because I found a couple of bits of shell, but its a good thing because that tells me the meat is pretty fresh! I also ordered the key lime pie and... wow, seriously, just amazing. This will be my go-to for the days I forget lunch from now on. So glad yall are in Austin!! Good amount of food -- probably will eat for dinner as well

Whole lot of delicious:) Some of the best most authentic food Ive ever tasted! Has amazing desserts too! Try the melanin Goddess or the Key lime in a cup/ jar. Wanted to try something new and remembered having seen an Eater article about this place. Ordered the Geechee BBQ Wings, Shrimp and Grits, and Okra Stew. Literally every single thing was delicious! Of course the sauce of the Shrimp and Grits would be delicious, but every component is fantastic; you could eat these grits all by themselves and theyd still be crazy good. Looking forward to ordering again and hoping the Banana Nana dessert hasnt sold out again.

We tried the shrimp and grits (stellar!), corn and okra side dishes, and the chicken wings with a Ranch dip, and everything was delicious! We picked up our order, and it was all ready and hot! I tried all the deserts and they where simply heavenly! My gosh, me and my wife where in shock when we tried them. We thought they where going to be good, but Alexandria s deserts blew us out the water. My personal favorite was the melanin goddess, just because of how rich in taste the chocolate was and the cookie chunks in there just balanced it out beautifully. My wife s favorite where the banana pudding and key lime, she couldn t really pick out a favorite, but nonetheless she loved all three as well. The customer service was stellar. We ll definitely be coming back again. I m also exited to see what they have in store with their upcoming hot food menu. I can only imagine how good that s gonna taste! If you have a sweets craving this is your one stop shop.
