I went in Monday like I had been doing for the last month to get a number 6 with bacon, which is a back egg and cheese biscuit. I tell the cashier 6 with bacon and milk. I head into work and as I m driving go to open my food and it s a tiny biscuit with bacon on it. So I called and let them know my order was wrong and whoever answered the phone asked my name and looked up my order to tell me it was put in as just a biscuit with bacon. No sorry for their screw-up, just made it like it was my fault. So definitely won t be going back

Being in the heart of downtown Austin, this busy Chick-fil-A still delivers the expected Chick-fil-A experience and sercice! Parking: There is limited paid street parking on 6th Street. If you are staying downtown Austin, it is easier to walk to this location than to drive and find parking

Super easy to drop in and get a meal fast. Ideal for those that are already in the area downtown for work or a day out. Also love the consistent quality of service and food provided by Chic-Fil-A. Location seems to primarily service food delivery apps as delivery drivers were rapidly in and out while I was here waiting. If youre driving youll prob have to park far away on another street or in a garage. Theres not much parking around the area.

Apr2024:4 : I would recommend this restaurant location. I searched for a nearby fast food restaurant and this one was selected after our first choice was too full with people. This location was pretty good as expected. I was a bit curious as to why there wasnt anything laid out for condiments. A panhandler was in the restaurant for a minute asking for money. He soon left when he was seen by the employee. Our food was served hot and freshly cooked as expected. The order was accurate as well when it was delivered to the table for us. We got ice cream cones as well. I didnt see any parking at the location, but there is an outside seating area available. An incident, I observed, gave me pause when I saw it with the employees. Normally, this type of restaurant is a solid 5 location, but this specific one is not quite up to what I am accustomed to experiencing.

There is a detention officer sitting in the building now because of the homeless people, but instead he chooses to harass regular patrons. I (used to) go there weekly if not more and people go in and out with their bikes to grab online orders. He literally got out of his seat and attempted to grab my bike telling me it wasnt allowed to be in the restaurant. This place is a joke and that guy needs to be fired. Whoever worked the night of 1/11 needs to be removed. Acting like a hall monitor in a chick fila. The guy literally started to threaten me and when I asked if he was a cop he said it doesnt matter who I am. If that idiot keeps managing the restaurant someone smarter than me will file a lawsuit. Today my bank was unexpectedly down (cash app) when I went to pay I was thrown off that it wasn t going through. Me and my kiddos were having a day out, we d been at the springs all day and were super hungry, mind you I don t have a personal vehicle so we took a Lyft to the restaurant. After so many times of attempting the payment A Team member named Leo stepped up and just paid for it which was also unexpected!! I couldn t believe that, that happened to my family, I m a single mom and it just means the world to me that he was so kind hearted to do that. No other business in Austin lets homeless people just sit in their doorway 3 inches from the door and harass customers going in and out. Theres at least 3 homeless people at all times surrounded at this location and manager just doesnt care to deal with it and they know they can get away with it. Other businesses downtown Austin manage this but Chic Fil A just doesnt want to deal with it to the detriment of the customer. Also got my order wrong 2 times in a row. I come often for lunch n never had issues except yesterday I rode my bike there n was over heated so I ordered n asked for some water. Cashier acted as if she didnt want to get me the water I offered to pay whatever so she then made it for me. I stood waiting for my order Im sure looking exhausted from the heat as I had felt like Id almost pass out from heat. A manager, very young Latino or possibly middle eastern young lady asked if I was ok i replied I was over heated. She walked away but quickly came back asking me to leave. I asked why she was asking me this but gave no answer n walked away. I followed her asking y she wanted me to leave ignoring me she called security on the phone which I waited for to maybe get an answer. He rudely told me i needed to leave. So I did. Felt very racially judged and wonder if this is how the teens working there treat everyone. What I needed was possible medical help not to be forced out. I suppose this is the service I get when teens are running the place. Very disappointed. Ill be there again today hope she wont be working lol

One of the reason I love this place is because of the energy, customer service, good food and amazing selection. I ve never had food poisoning here, this was not the case last night. I m a pretty healthy eater, I eat here as a cheat day. I am in extreme Pain this morning. If I could give zero stars, I would. I have continuously gave this location a chance, but they continue to disappoint. I have placed a countless amount of orders through Uber Eats since my Fiance and I moved to Austin, and my order has been completely right about 4 times. I never want to write a bad review because I can understand a few mistakes, but I feel that it is careless at this point. We made it a point to speak to a manager at this location the last time this happened, but to no avail. We have a missing item again. I ve been to this location multiple times and normally it s good, that s the only reason I ve given more than one star. Tonight the grilled chicken was rubbery and the lettuce was wilted. Which by itself I d forgive, but paired with the unprofessional attitude below, I had to write a review. Teens behind the counter were obnoxiously loud. I m a high school teacher, I get it. But if I m sitting in the opposite corner of a restaurant I shouldn t be able to hear your conversation word for word. The first conversation was of the two teenage boys making attempts at picking up their female coworker. The words exchanged were not pleasant or appropriate. While she laughed it off, it still isn t okay. The second conversation was, in my opinion, worse. They started to make fun of a coworker or customer (couldn t tell) who apparently has a disability and they were laughing about his mannerisms, how he has to repeat words, and has a lisp. They referred to him by name, which somehow makes this worse. The conversations died down anytime customers were in line, but they paid no regard to the dine in customers like myself. I understand it s a slow weeknight in a downtown venue, but that s not an excuse. I m appalled by their behavior not just as employees, but as human beings.

Seems they set my order aside, never called my name, and that was that. After enough people were served before me I went up to ask and was rudely greeted by some kid. Have him my name and sure enough my order was there, they just never called me name. When I asked said kid what happened, he turned his back to me and muttered something.
