While the place is very cool, the food is ok, I would not recommend this place to families. We assumed that this was another family friendly brewery like so many in Austin, so we met up with another family and our small children. We were rather rudely addressed from the staff that our kids were not welcome to play around in the brewery. Wont be back and do not recommend to families.

Huge brewery with great selection. I didn t try the food so cannot comment on that but the hazy IPA was good. I saw there is a beer garden on the back, and some extra rooms as well. The place is massive so it seems like a great place to throw parties.

The space is remarkable. Really big on the inside with plenty of private rooms and a killer outdoor space out back. Parking: The parking lot fills up fast because the space is large. That said, there is plenty of street parking plus an overflow lot adjacent to the space. Kid-friendliness: I have yet to go in there when there arent kids in there doing there thing. The soft Pretzels keep em quiet.

Came here for the first time with some good friends. Beers and food are delicious, but pretty pricey. I ordered the Reuben sandwich w/ a side of fries and the Joe vs the Avocado Bowl. Both were very flavorful and delicious. For drinks, I had a Dads Joke beer which was pretty good. The staff are very friendly and fast. The place overall, is roomy and has a lot of tables and chairs to chill at. I m not sure if they have live music all the time, but they had a some kind of swing dance performance which was super cool to watch. Large parking lot and some street parking so parking shouldn t be an issue. This place isn t visible on the main road.

Came for the fathers day joke event. Got tickets ahead of time but still couldnt get a seat. Why ask people to get tickets if they dont mean anything? Stood in line for a while to order and within one minute of getting to the bar to order, the guy at the bar told us to hurry up and order because there was a line. We didnt get to see a food menu until we got to the bar. So we were rushed to just pick something to eat. If they wanted people to be ready to order when they got to the bar, then someone should have placed menus on a stand for the people in line to read. Charged me $8 for what was advertised on the menu as a 19 oz. beer. They gave it to me in a 10 oz. plastic cup. When I called them out on the ounces, the guy said it must be a typo in the menu. Rip off. Never going to this place again.

I was thoroughly impressed with this brewery and would highly recommend it. They have custom flights where you can choose five beers/drinks. They also have great cider options. Their soft pretzel was one of the best I have ever had. It tasted like it was perfectly proofed. It held its shape but was nice and smooth on the outside, and it was salted to Goldilocks standards, not too much, not too little. I was also impressed with their salad, which had blue cheese crumbles, candy pecans, and a delicious vinaigrette (the lettuce pieces were two to three times as big as a fork bite, so that was slightly unpleasant and difficult to maneuver, but the taste was great). I also tried their dessert, their seasonal bread pudding, and I was actually thoroughly impressed because it was also not too sweet and not too bland; the whipped cream on top of it tasted housemaid and was also not obnoxiously sweet. The bread pudding was garnished with edible flower petals, which was a surprise as you dont usually see plating of that caliber at breweries. I would definitely recommend this place for its laid-back atmosphere and leveled-up fun food. The whole place is excellent without being pretentious. The staff was also very friendly, helpful, and on top of everything at all times on my visit.

attended for the Selena market and the food ordering processes was a mess. You had to pick up each item one by one as it was ready. We ordered tacos, pretzel and elote. All came out between 15-20 minutes time difference from one another. It was busy there I just didn t understand why they did that system instead of having everyone s order ready altogether. They attempted to keep food warm but it was still somewhat cold when we go it. Small portions of brisket were given to our tacos and noticed other people orders had an inconsistent amount as well.

Let me share the joyous tale of our recent Church of Beer venture to Brewtorium, a sanctuary of libations and fellowship. In this massive space, the beer list may be concise, numbering only eleven, yet it is a testament to divine craftsmanship, offering a diverse array of styles that elevate the sudsy spirit. The Munich dunkel, known as The Bleaken, and the heavenly Annie Dunleavey s dry Irish stout emerged as beacons of flavor, casting away all thirst. But lo and behold, it is not just the elixirs that grace the Brewtorium; the food menu is a feast of earthly delights, from wholesome salad bowls to the revered German flammekueche. Our group found ample seating within these walls, fostering camaraderie and laughter. As we ventured to the outdoor patio, a humble abode overlooking train tracks and a parking lot, it lacked the celestial ambiance we sought but was sufficient nonetheless. Yet, let not this paltry outdoor view overshadow the excellence bestowed upon us within Brewtorium. We celebrate the confluence of exceptional brews, delectable sustenance, and the bonds forged in this haven of suds. Needless to say, I would recommend a visit to the Brewtorium, time and again, to savor the divine nectar and share in the bonds of a beer-loving gathering. Cheers!

For our recent small wedding my now-husband and I wanted to rent a space with enough room to mingle, plenty of seating options and great food and service. The first place we thought of was The Brewtorium. We had seen the private room in use in the past but had no idea it would be such a wonderful space to host a small wedding reception. The booking process was easy, including choosing the menu. The server that we opted to have as part of the booking was amazing. The food and drinks were outstanding. The space was incredibly cozy while feeling very spacious at the same time. Our guests had a wonderful time as did myself and my husband. I would highly recommend The Brewtorium for any smaller events that you might be planning to host. You wont be disappointed!

Update: Management reached out and explained the mistake, and offered me a refund. :) I m happy with their customer service. Sad moist deflated pretzel bun! Usually I love their pretzels, but the pretzel bun is awful. Also, their website lists the price as $12.50, but they charged me $14. That s always a shock when you look at your receipt to see they ve raised prices without updating the online menu. If you come, just get a pretzel.

Was very excited to try this place and got takeout on a rainy day. They were having vegan menu options throughout January which I was especially excited to try. However, the fried cauliflower sandwich and fries I had were very soggy, like they had been sitting out for hours. :( It sucked because I could see the potential of it tasting good if it had been fresh. I came right at the scheduled pickup time so not sure what happened but the sogginess was just unappetizing. Cinnamon pretzel tasted good but also was very hard and cold. Very bummed since this spot is close by and I couldve seen myself frequenting it.

My Fiance and I go to the Brewtorium at least a few times each year. Our most recent visit was a get together for our friends 40th birthday this weekend. Their parking lot is usually full but there is plenty of street parking which I usually prefer anyways. The Brewtorium has a great space. Plenty of space inside which was good for our party of 40; there still was a lot of space and tables open for the rest of the people there. They also have tables outside and sometimes have a bartender out there too. They usually have 10 or so of their beers as well as a bunch of other stuff too (wines/ciders/meads). Last night, I had their tropical ipa as well as a vienna lager and dunkel. All were pretty solid and I can generally say thats the case for most of the beers Ive had there over time. They recently added an ax throwing business in the back and though we peeked in from outside, I havent done it yet but it looked fun. Its usually well staffed and peek times and their staff is friendly and helpful. We havent tried a lot of their food but we do get their pretzel and add beer cheese almost every visit. My fiance loves it and swears its the best pretzel shes gotten at a brewery.

Amazing food and beer with mediocre service. Brought my food out and it was the wrong order. Had to ask them after 30 minutes after they did not bring out my correct order, took another 20 minutes to receive it. This was after I took the cashier s recommendation for food. Additionally, they ask you to not sit at a table until you order, and then ask you what table you are sitting at when you order. Just a little chaotic.

Got the Reuben and fries and it was way too salty and soggy for my liking. Pretzel was soft, but you gotta pay extra for the dips for it which is reflected in the lower than usual price for a bar pretzel, which isn t a bad thing if you just want to eat a pretzel without cheese/mustard. The beer and atmosphere are good too! Super chill and awesome dim lighting

I can t believe this has been here five years and I hadn t been to it. It s an awesome place for anyone who enjoys good beer, a great big beer hall atmosphere, friendly barkeeps (special shout-out for Natalie!), and excellent food. I loved both hazy IPAs we tried, as well as the Belgian white with orange and cinnamon. The Brewtorious P.I.G German-style pizza was delicious, as was the apple and caramel bread pudding. We got there about 4:45 on a Thursday and the after work folks were already arriving for some downtime. By the time we left, the place was jam-packed! It s easy to see why. There is a roomy parking lot on the far side of the building, as well as on-street parking. In cooler weather, the outdoor beer garden must be nice. To get to it, you walk down the long, long hall past the restrooms AND the axe-throwing venue. I still miss the fragrance of Butterkrust Bakery when I was driving past this building on Airport Boulevard, but if that had to go, this is a truly worthy re-invention of the venerable space. It was altogether a great time, so we will be back soon and often!

Great food. Tons of beer options, obviously. The Joe vs Avocado bowl salad was quite good. I love that they included quinoa and corn. We wanted light so we split the salad. Prices are not bad at all. You kinda have to know what to do when you walk in You go to the bar counter before you sit down. They tell you what table number to go to. You can order then, but you may want to order drinks then sit at the table to figure out what to eat. They have just 2 or 3 menus at the bar. Youll want to use the QR code on the napkin holders to get the menu at your seat. Once your party knows what they want, then you get back in line at the bar to order. After the first time, youll get the gist.

Pizza, pretzels, and sausage are pretty much the only options. Again, only come here if you want beer. There aren t really any options for people who want anything else, so I wouldn t recommend it for couples where one likes beer and one doesn t. Oh well. I ll eventually find a German restaurant as good as the ones in Fredericksburg.

Noise! Too much noise! With solid walls and concrete floors, reflective conversations increase exponentially including the music. You literally have to shout to have a conversation with someone only 8 inches from you and about 3 to 4 feet across the table!!!!!! I would recommend to the owner to install sound dampening materials and to have a sound engineer (like myself ) to calibrate the room acoustics, reflections, deflections, and audio. At the end of my visit with my colleagues, my throat was very sore from having to shout loud for them to hear me. Music should be at a comfortable level. Great beer and service and an overall positive experience despite a few areas needing improvement as mentioned. I didn t ordered any food, so I was unable to rate that category. Parking: Happy hours where mostly professionals gather for socializing created difficulties with parking. One has to find parking a good distance away if the parking next to the building and across the street is full. While there are surrounding businesses with parking being available l, one has to questioned if it s legal to park. It would be nice to have signages stating that those areas are permitted to park.

A brewery, pretty hip, bier garten vibes. Its on a back street off of Airport just north of 51st Street. Very near the train stop. Food: The pizza looked good but ended up choosing the Buffalo schnitzel sandwich. About $13. It was very tasty. Quite small though, almost like a large slider more than a proper entree. Got the fries and the aioli. Both good but also a small number of fries. Loss of one star for that size thing. The menu does seem to be German inspired and so does the atmosphere. Parking: Parking is kind of a punk but not terrible, the parking lot was very full and the spots were small, so be aware of this if you have a medium to large vehicle. Theres also some free street parking, but seems less than ideal. Beer: The first time I went to this place I got a beer flight, you cant see anywhere the pricing for the flight except online, and they only have 10 draught beers and you pick 5. Four of them are IPAs, and one of them is the same IPA with lime, so really just nine draft beers. That said, all their beers were good except I thought one of the IPAs was a little too fruity. Even though it was just labeled hazy. There was one labeled fruited hazy IPA that I did not try. Probably glad for that. Because I am an acutely aware human, as I was ordering the flights, I noticed that two of the beers were small 9 oz pours normally. I asked how they did that because if all the pours are 5 oz in the flight then thats a good deal. Only after I ask the question was it revealed they were going to charge it extra $3 per 5 oz flight glass (that would have been a 9 oz pour in a regular glass). The flight was normally $15 but ended up being more because of the $3 extras, but I really did want a proper selection and sample of their beers. I felt that $3 extra should have been told up front as soon as we picked one of those beers, but I think he was just going to let us order it and charge us for it which would have been pretty annoying. Also its annoying that they charge extra for it anyway. That said... Service: The service is one line, you order everything from the one line, so if you want another beer you have to wait in line again. The line varies a lot and moves pretty quickly so it wasnt a big deal, and didnt get a second beer anyway, but if one wanted one... Both of the people at the registers were seemingly well informed and courteous. No complaints there. It also appeared like you were supposed to leave your plates/ glasses on the table as I did not see anywhere to drop them.

Great food. Beer was not cold enough. Service was friendly but super slow. Feels too dark and a little muggy inside. Very welcoming to families which is a plus. Busy but did not feel crowded.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this fantastic brewing restaurant and was blown away by the quality of their German-style pizza and beer. Not only was the food delicious and authentic, but the atmosphere was perfect for a birthday party or any kind of celebration. The pizza crust was crispy and flavorful, and the toppings were fresh and plentiful. I especially enjoyed the traditional German sausage and sauerkraut pizza, which was a perfect blend of savory and tangy flavors. And the beer selection was top-notch, with a variety of styles to choose from, including some great local brews. But what really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. The spacious and rustic dining room is great for large groups, and the staff went out of their way to make our birthday party a memorable experience. They even brought out a complimentary dessert for the birthday girl! Overall, I highly recommend this brewing restaurant for anyone looking for delicious German-style pizza and beer in a fun and festive atmosphere. Its the perfect spot for a birthday party or any other special occasion.

Hit or miss... Sometimes the beer selection is great, other times you struggle to find something to drink. Some of the pizzas are great, but other times the food is unpalatable (e.g. the Red Line queso special tasted off). There are lots of great places in the area that are more consistent.

I love that there are always so many great beers on tap here and in a wide variety of styles. The food is great and so is the service. The inside space is huge and suitable for large groups, and the outside patio is nice and chill. We love taking out groups here. This place rocks!

This was a real treat! We sat in the outdoor patio and enjoyed a very nice selection of craft beer. As previous reviewers have stated, there is something for everyone! The pizza was so good we ordered three of them for six people! Kudos to the chef(s) in the kitchen for going the extra mile to create some amazing flavors! THANK YOU! Your passion for food is evident. Have to say that ALL the food looked great and for sure we ll try something different next time. Parking was easy. We were there at 7 pm on a Friday night. Vegetarian options: Hungry Hippie was loved even by carnivores! Lots of vegetarian options.

Ive been here several times already and each time the only downside has been the parking. They have their own lot for parking but this fills up quick. I was there on a Wed evening by 5:30PM and the lot was almost full with the street parking also running out. Please note that there are also several other businesses sharing the street parking. Other than that, the place is great. It provides varied seating arrangements from bar height, booth, long, lounge, picnic (outisde) tables to pick from. The table selection will help cater to whatever your gathering is intended for. They have a good selection of beers that they brew and on tap. It helps that the selection is not overwhelming like other places. Its just the right amount. Its bar food, so the food can be hit/miss, but itll satisfy the hunger. I know they have vegetarian options, but I dont know about other diet requirements. I hope you enjoy your visit!

Once of my favorite Austin staples. Ive been coming here for many years and I love the vibe, the delicious beer (a lot of it is brewed in house!) and the good food. The mac and cheese and the soft pretzel are my favorites. I find they always have a relaxing atmosphere for a chill meeting with friends and I can always find space for a seat (i.e. not overcrowded). The staff is friendly and you can tell they really care about the community. I even had my graduation celebration here when I got my masters and they were so helpful and gracious and my family thoroughly enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this place. Parking: Parking can sometimes be hard because the lot gets full, but I find that street parking is usually available when that happens. Kid-friendliness: Brewtorium is kid and pet friendly

If you havent already, go for a break, or a celebration, or a business gathering. Welcoming place with delicious foods and a great selection of their brews. The beverage menu also has ciders, meads, and other favorites. This family-friendly space has an inviting outdoor biergarten where young children can enjoy the great Fall weather. I went on a Sunday and they had partnered with local artisans by offering space to set-up a holiday market- a great idea to shop local and support local. The atmosphere was festive as it was on the many times I visited this venue. They have private spaces, ideal for corporate events too. I hope you love it too.

I only came here once but I was pleasantly surprised of the large space, atmosphere and beer selection. They offer indoor seating in the front and outdoor seating in the back. The only reason why I do not give this review a 5 star is because the second cashier (in the back outdoors) is only open after the sun starts going down. It is a decent walk from the outdoor seating to the back to the front cashier to order drinks.
