The night we went, the music was a miss for me personally. Im sure they have better nights than what I experienced. The bar was slow, and the drinks were okay. They charged 20% tip automatically and asked for more when you pay on the screen. I didnt even notice it until my friend pointed out not to add more since it took us 15-20 min to get 5 drinks for our group. The after-party downstairs was so much better, and they had 2 different rooms playing different music, so that was pretty cool.

Its summer time in Austin right now. It s hot and humid. First time here. I enter the establishment and notice that there are fans only at the cabanas. Didn t think twice about it. I Head to the bar to order my beverages and ask can we sit anywhere and was told I can sit anywhere EXCEPT for the cabanas. So they expected us to sit in the heat. Also ordered a tequila pineapple which tasted rancid and ordered a ranch water that tasted like water. Will not be back.

This was my first time here for my bachelorette party and it was such a special place. It felt exclusive, yet laid-back. Not overly crowded, enough room to dance and wiggle. Ryan, the bartender was AMAZING! So kind and thoughtful and always checked up on me and my gals to make sure we were having a good time. All the staff were super friendly from the bouncers to the bar backs, to the DJs and bartenders. Music was solid with different DJs switching out. The plants and lighting on the rooftop created a funky jungle vibe. The cocktails were tasty! My new fave spot to boogie and lounge.

Do not go here, they will charge you for a drink you didn t even order or receive and also add their own tip without you knowing. Then will ask you for another tip on top of that. Always have a receipt txt to you when paying with square. Shady business!!!!

Great bar, beautiful view. Its giving Miami Vice vibes on the rooftop. You want to dance here. Great cocktails as well. Bar staff is super helpful and bottle service is greatly priced for the great space and rooftop view!!! Music changes every week. They also have a secret nightclub downstairs only open on Saturday. Decent cocktails, cute ambiance and they had a pretty good DJ playing music. Good tacos next door at 10/10 taqueria. Im knocking off a few stars because they add automatic gratuity which was not obvious when checking out on the iPad nor was it communicated via any sign at the bar. Only reason I knew it was automatic gratuity is because I had the receipt texted to me when I noticed I had essentially tipped 40% instead of 20%. I asked my friend to double check if there was a call out that I missed when she paid her bill but she said no where in the check out flow does it outline that there is automatic gratuity. Definitely feels predatory especially if folks are drinking and enjoying themselves. Be careful out there!

Living just a block away from Reina at the Whitley Apartments since its opening, Ive been subjected to significant disturbances. The bar plays loud electronic music from Thursday to Sunday, and the lack of any barrier means the sound travels directly into my apartment, disrupting my sleep and peaceful evenings. Despite numerous complaints to 311 and reaching out to the regional manager for Austins nightlife and entertainment, my concerns were not addressed effectively. It is particularly frustrating to learn that Reina operates without a valid permit for music, yet theres been a lack of enforcement from the city. This situation has compelled me to relocate. I am moving a block away to a higher floor to escape the noise. Its disheartening that my decision to leave was influenced heavily by a bar conducting illegal activities. Patrons should be aware of the negative impact this venue has on local residents. I hope my experience encourages potential visitors to reconsider their patronage, knowing the profound effect the bars operations have had on at least one neighbors life.

This bar is what qualifies as an open music venue, because they are a rooftop bar. They play music very loud which causes disturbance to all residents living around them, either at the Whitley or the Hyatt hotel. They insist on playing bass electronic music on amplifiers despite knowing it causes disturbance to people living around them. Outdoor music venues (OMVs) are not allowed to play any music past midnight on weekends which this bar has despite warnings from the city inspectors. And before midnight, because they are open air they are not allowed to play music at the same volume as an indoor club but they do. They know people are upset, they have chosen to ignore both the city inspectors and residents around them. They need to be fined until they comply. Frankly they don t deserve to have a permit at this point with all their disregard for regulations.

This is the second night I ve been to this place . while they display all the alcohol at the bar, they state that they haven t been serving cocktails since beginning of the pandemic, only beer and a few other options. I m Unhappy for how im always treated by this bartender he makes you feel unimportant. We got charged for two extra drinks that I didn t ask for or receive. Service was extremely slow and two of my overpriced drinks were lukewarm when I got them. I live on Rainey, so I visit the numerous bars on it often. This was my first time visiting this bar as it s the newest one on the street... I was harassed at this bar on two separate occasions by the same woman this past weekend. The first occurrence happened less than a minute after I walked in, and I repeatedly asked her to leave me alone to no avail. A couple of workers came over to see what the fuss was the second time around, and I was kicked out instantly without any questions asked. I can only assume because I m male, and was deemed instantly at fault in any disturbance situation. I have a feeling this might be a first time bar owner that hasn t had experience training staff, etc. Regardless, there s many options on Rainey Street that are all wonderful experiences. I d avoid this bar until they have time to mature into a bar that s used to handling the inevitable situations that arise. Cheers!

This place is awesome! A good change of pace from the typical Rainey vodka tonic and red bull bar.
