parking can be tough but the cold brew coconut horchata frappe more than makes up for it! delicious and thank you for making it dairy free! was bummed when Leroy and Lewis left (they have a brick and mortar now), but so excited to see East Side King s food truck moved in! This original Cosmic backyard is such a cool space to hang in.

really great spot in austin! right next to the rock climbing gym , crux where you can bring your dog. and they have great food truck options in the courtyard. lots of sitting space. you can bring your dog. the coffee / teas are also really good. a must visit in austin!

This is an oasis right in South Austin just off S. Congress. The best coffee and drinks going. Just a great place to hang and enjoy the scenery. Definitely check out the Pueblo Viejo food trailer and see my review of their incredible tacos. You re going to want to spend the day and night here once you discover it. Just don t take my parking spot! Cosmic Pickle Parking: Parking can get tight if it s busy, but worth it.

We mistakenly showed up here cause my buddy thought there was a certain food truck around but it wasn t and I sure was glad he was wrong cause I was introduced to one of the best coffees ever created. The coconut horchata cold brew will save your life on the hottest of days. That beauty saved the trip and altered our moods immensely cause we were cookin in that heat. Unreal stuff. Parking is chaos. They allow large trucks to park when the spaces between rows of cars are so limited. I ended up in a really bad situation as a result, so fair warning! Also the indoor space is tiny - it would a good space for anything outside of Spring/Summer but it was boiling even with the water spritzes.

Such a great spot to hangout and chill with friends. They have a lot of drink options. You can also spike any drink. We tried coffee with bourbon which was a very unique flavor. We also tried cocktails which were very delicious. They also have a lot of food trucks but we didnt try the food from there but have heard positive things. Lot of outdoor and some indoor seating. I would highly recommend this for a casual hangout with friends.

CAUTION: if you are a coffee connoisseur this is not the place for you. They consistently burn the espresso and use low quality beans but charge high quality prices. They use these new automatic coffee machines that are horrible. Reading other reviews it seems that this place used to have good coffee but with the advent of these new machines the coffee quality has gone down hill. It definitely has a nice vibe but thats the only good thing about the place. Moral of the story if you are looking for good food and coffee this is not your place, but if you want to sit in a nice outdoor space then by all means go here.

Taking two stars off because of the rude staff because of two different incidences and visits. The garden is beautiful, peaceful, and clean but ruined once I had to order at the bar. The QR codes can help avoid the staff. Dog friendly patio but rocky if they don t like that. I have ordered the tacos, wings, and coffee and all tasted yummy. Just take a look at their responses to their bad reviews, that will tell you a lot :)

I ve been here multiple time gotten a lavender Matcha latte. Ordered I was just told they only have Orgeat matcha latte, which is an almond flavor. Which I tried when it first got on the menu didn t like the flavor profile together and since have ordered it plain with added lavender and vanilla syrup many times. After multiple orders was just told the oregeat is the only way to get it. Which doesn t make sense, since I imagine it s an added syrup. I doubt almond syrup is made with matcha powder. Horrible customer service. Great ambiance though. They should get their staff on the same page.

Gorgeous space for hangouts with friends. Too loud for WFH/taking calls. I have higher standard for cosmic just because everything is so well designed and fits well together that when they miss the mark it just seems odd. For alcohol drinks I wish they would use better cups or even actual cups. Having a manhattan or glass of wine in the same plastic cup just seems a little bit lazy/cheap. There s also a big quality gap between their hot and cold coffee drink. Hot drinks are made well, at time of order. But they pre-make their cold drinks which makes it feel less personal and less tasty. They load up on a bunch of ice too, not to nitpick but the ice shape is just too fine so it exacerbates their ice overloading situation. Because of this, it doesn t feel as good quality as Radio (where Radio uses actual proper glass for alcohol drinks, and hand make their cold caffeinated drink upon customer s order). Regardless, what a beautiful coffee shop :)!

Lots of great things to say about cosmic - great vibes, friendly staff, good beers, food trucks. I will leave those to other reviews and focus on the reason I am not giving Cosmic Coffee + Beer Garden five stars: the coffee. It is not very good. Not to say that it is bad, its just not very good. If you have a keurig at home, save yourself a trip and just throw a capsule in at home. They have some flavored drinks that are sorta ok, but feel small and a little overpriced. If they were called Cosmic Beer Garden and happened to have coffee that would be ok, five stars overall, but they re Cosmic Coffee. The coffee has to be good. When they re nailing everything else so well I really do want to go by more in the mornings, it is a great place to hang out. But, there are lots of other coffee shops in south austin and for a coffee I would recommend most of the other ones over Cosmic. Other notes that I didn t dock points for but might be good to know: - parking can be little bit of a beast, especially on a nice day. Sometimes they ticket on the nearby streets, read the signs - plant based options are limited - there a chickens : )

Anywhere else this place might be a revelation, but in Austin, this is how they roll. Still, an excellent outdoor garden with good coffee and beer available. Family friendly. Id describe it as shabby-chic. In true Austin fashion, the food is via truck/trailer, which means youll have Tacos, BBQ, and then sometimes something else. Lines for food can be long. Plan accordingly. Parking can be tricky when busy. Best to park on the other side of Congress and quickly walk over.

This is only a comment on the absolute downfall of my favorite drink from here. I used to come and get a liquid sunshine about 3-5 days a weeks. It was always so flavorful and great. The last three times Ive been, it tasted like lime water. I drove 36 minutes in the disgusting Austin traffic at 8 am to come get my favorite drink and Literally even the color of it isnt the same. Idk if its just the person thats been making them absolutely sucks, or if this company is doing the same thing as all the major companies in cutting down the amount of ingredients and just raising prices. Either way, if this review wouldve been a month ago, I would say they need more than 5 stars, today, it was hard for me to even put 2 stars. Such a freaking disappointment.

Great coffee and beer joint. Plenty of outdoor seating with fans and misters along with some indoor seating. The drink selection is good and the food trucks are great. A very nice joint to hang out and relax with the waterfalls. Only complaint is the speakers outdoors could be a little quieter, but maybe Im just old Vegetarian options: The taco truck has about the only vegetarian/vegan option Parking: Maybe three to four dozen spots in the lot and outside on the street, but can be tough to find a spot at peak hours.

Was very excited to try the drinks at this place! I got the chai latte (non-alcoholic) and it was the most watered down, flavor-less drink I have ever had. If you are using a chai concentrate either use more or offer a default smaller cup size so it isn t as watered down by the milk. Otherwise, the location is beautiful and lively!

The guy behind the counter barking commands is rude and shows a lot about this places transition from being a local gem to tourist trap. It s clear he notices the line issue, but does nothing but confuse people. The way the tables and signs are set up, the line forms every time this place is busy. No one is going to crowd around the bar like the blind pig-yet he is going to try to force people to do so. Nor will he notice no one is getting taken care of at the other registers so why would anyone leave his line. I will be returning for tacos, wings and brisket but won t be coming inside to get yelled about because your known traffic problem will result in getting yelled at by that guy.

This review is extremely overdue. This is one of my favorite spots for working or hanging out with friends, especially bc there is a such a wide variety of drinks (coffee, alcoholic, NA). When my husband and I got married, we hosted a welcome party for about 100 guests here and it was amazing! All the staff were so kind and we were able to give out wristbands so guests could get drinks on our tab. The tab even lasted an hour longer than anticipated bc prices are so reasonable! Overall it was a lovely way to kick off our wedding festivities and share one of our favorite spaces with our loved ones

Very cute place to hang out with friends. However, dont get the bourbon nog. Its a premixed drink they just poured out and we did not like it. We sadly had to pour out the drink.

Overpriced, and mediocre quality. The coffee here is pretty meh, the quality of the syrups leave a lot to be desired. For costing $6-$7 for what I ordered, I expected better. The auto select for an 18% tip is also annoying.
