Incredibly rude staff. I ve been here before and usually have a wonderful experience. However, today I waited over 15 minutes for a cocktail. When I asked the status, the bartender claimed the order never arrived in their system. This bar uses an app to receive orders, all purchases are made digitally through the customer s phone. I showed the bartender my receipt, which was time stamped 16 minutes prior. The bartenders refused to make my drink claiming they never received the order. They also asked to see my credit card statement for additional proof, and even though that was invasive, I obliged. Even though both of these measures proved I had placed an order, they continued to refuse and said I don t know what you want me to do about it in a rude tone. I used to love this place, and I ve introduced quite a few friends to this place over the years. However, after petty and mean service I received today, I will not be returning.

I recently became dairy free and not only was the staff so accommodating, they also had so many options! Their pretzel with cashew cheese was fantastic. Their drinks were also so good, especially the mezcal drink. This is truly an underrated gem with LOTS of parking! Highly recommend.

What can I say? This little old Austin inspired gem sits on the corner of nostalgia and hip and I m so happy to be in the neighborhood. It s a respite for a good laugh with locals, a good beer, great bites like the chicken pate (yummy) and cool vibes. You can study, hang, lounge indoors or outside. It s hats off to Bethany!

We hosted my 60+ person baby shower there and it was a blast. They were amazing, the service was great, food was outstanding and the desserts were too. Having been to the original Snack Bar on South Congress back in the day, my expectations were high. This place is great! Ive been here 5 times now in the past 2 months. The drinks are consistent. All the food is from the farmers market, and supporting local business seems to be one Snack Bars top priorities! If you are old enough to remember Orange Julius, you HAVE to try the Grandma Pendletons Orange Dream. Absolutely amazing! And I highly recommend the hummus and the La Texana pizza. Today was a little chilly out and they had the fire pit going, with heated seating pads! One night they even played a movie outdoors! Truly an Austin gem for those looking for that old Austin vibe!!

Honestly such a cute place, I ve been here twice now and the service is top notch and the space is really inviting. I ordered a drink without really looking at the ingredients and honestly wasn t a fan and the woman serving me noticed and offered me a replacement cocktail even though I definitely just ordered something I shouldn t have (a cocktail with vinegar in it) which was just so kind of them to do. What a hidden jam! This great Tapas Bar is a paradise for any art lover. There is something pleasant and interesting to look at in every direction. You can tell that the owner poured her heart into the built out and design and its visible throughout the establishment that the place celebrates the Austin community and focuses on supporting local. They have an excellent and vast selection of craft drinks from local craft beers to great cocktails and wines. One of their cocktail menus is dedicated to shout out contributors who helped the owner fight breast cancer (through supporting her GoFundMe) during those rough times in her life. I love this idea and also that she is thanking them this way. They also have a great tapas selection and amazing atmosphere to just bring in your laptop and catch up on work emails, read a book with something yummy to sip on or indulge in a fun night out with your friends/family. The firepits outside are a bomb! Cant wait to be back!

I wish I could give Bobos six stars instead of five... We worked with Bethany and Sarah to host our welcome event for our wedding weekend, and everything went off without a hitch. I stopped by to check things out...been meaning to for a year now it seems. Everything here is locally sourced. I had a great glass of TX rose on tap for happy hour and also a nice glass of mourvedre/grenache on draft too. These were surprisingly good (my wife is a Sommelier but works on the supply side of wine for an importer so Im exposed to nothing but good stuff these days) and definitely something Id order on my own again--nevermind the value during happy hour. I also tried some vegan brazillian nut like tator tots that were out of this world. Im a meat guy so when I like a vegetarian dish this much, it says alot. The tots had a chewy inside, crispy outside, and the lightest nutty flavor that made them feel like a good bar mix snack somehow--the onion dip that they came with was veey tasty too. Everyone working here is friendly and really cares about your personal experience--awesome service. Even customers that passed through (regulars) were friendly and inviting. The vibe or ambiance is pretty nice too--good music inside, and outside are lots of small tables to gather around--in front and in back. Dogs are alowed too--in and out. My wife gets the empanadas they serve here at Mueller Market every Sunday and I know theyre superb--Ill be back with my wife for sure with this pitch. 5 stars! Always friendly and always something new here. Decided to try the top front porch today. Stylin and profilin w a glass of Sangiovese and some veggies.

A wonderful little oasis on the Eastside near mueller. Have a great beer selection and the most wonderful snacks. Their Brie and chicken salad is not to be missed get the snack board. Staff is so friendly and welcoming - even to my barking doggies (they re so uncouth). They source everything from within so many (like maybe less than 100 miles) of Austin. So go to Bobo s if you re truly seeking local fare. Looking forward to when Bobo s has some hats in their merch collection. Will snag one immediately. the environment here is so unique! you feel like you re at a friends house. we sat outside and enjoyed some snacks and beer. i didn t especially love the food we tried but they mentioned changing the menu soon. So not only is the name amazing, but Bethany, the owner, is so kind and welcoming. I love the vibe here - its like visiting a friends house and getting great service. Here s the deal. This place is a vibe. It s a delicious vibe. Everyone who works here is a delight. The drinks are perfect, the board games are inventive and quirky (played with tarot cards and a Keith Haring jenga) and had a great time. This isn t a place you come to just for food. The food is good and it s locally sourced, but it s not all made in house. It s great if you re looking for snacks (and they advertise that they re a snack bar, so consider expectations managed on this. It being a traditional dinner spot). The menu is hyper local and fantastic ( I ve been for drinks and brunch) had some Asian eggs , chocolate donuts , chicken pate , it s all so good . More than anything the owner and waiter were fantastic and asked for feedback . Will definitely keep going even when I live in the opposite side of town.

Bobos is definitely a great venue to bring a group a friends to chill out with some drinks and snacks. I like the grouping of seating outside and that they only use Texas sourced products. I really like the pretzels--the variety of flavors and the options of both soft and hard. The sweet treats from Baked from Scratch are a favorite too.

Bobo s is a delight. The playful and welcoming atmosphere are matched by the eclectic and delicious menu. Definitely get the Chana masala empanadas and the vegan queso. We felt so at home that we stayed to play games and drink another Glenn Gilkey (a tasty twist on an Arnold Palmer). Bethany and the whole staff fill their space with art, color, and positive energy. It just feels right! This place is all about inclusivity meaning they have something for everyone. Introvert/extrovert, drink/dont drink, vegan/carnivore its great. Great staff and owners. It puts the fun in funky. Also they have a bomb locally made michelada.

I cant remember a better service experience at an Austin restaurant or bar in ages! It was a cold night and we sat outside but the fire pit, blankets and heating pad made it very comfortable. The staff made sure we had everything we needed. The snacks and cocktails were great, too.

We love heading over to Bobos day or night for snacks (wonderful selection of healthy, local items) and drinks (usually we enjoy a bottle or 2 of local wine) in a relaxed backyard environment. It s conveniently located near Mueller, so we re able to walk right over. The best part about Bobos is their incredible owner and staff. We always feel like we re visiting friends. Delicious food, great service, and great drinks. I would say you would find more snacks than meals (as the name implies). The staff is highly personable, and they had great recommendations. The cocktails are well-balanced, and I love that they only serve local food/drink. I definitely recommend the pretzel, and I really want to go back to try the queso. This is a great place to unwind and chat with friends. They can get busy during peak times, but they have indoor as well as outdoor seating. I definitely recommend! I want this to be my neighborhood bar even though this is not in my neighborhood. Something about this place is so inviting.

Awesome Small, intimate and fun. COVID limits how much interaction you can have with staff or being in the small inside, but they have embraced that. Connect to the menu and a tab at the outside tables. Its super easy and when your drink is delivered the staff was super friendly and can answer any questions you may have. No smoking, but dont worry theres a big smoking table away from the other tables. Thr drinks were awesome and not over priced, I loved it.
