I ordered a carnivore pizza with regular crust it reminded me of a meat lover with extra cheese from pizza hut. It wasnt bad but it wasnt great. I also ordered 6 wings in Buffalo flavor. It was the same with the wings. Not horrible but not that good either. They were very similar to freshly cooked 711 wings. Like perfectly cooked frozen Tyson chicken wings the best I can describe it. I asked for ranch for the wings and it was just a packaged Hidden Valley salad dressing which I didnt even use because that just doesnt taste good with wings to me. The service was fine and the overall vibe and atmosphere felt kind of dingy. Overall the experience was mid level. I probably wont come back

Food was good, the service was okay until we paid the check. A gratuity was added because the server didn t think we would tip so they added it so we would even though we were going to tip more than the gratuity charged. Before we left the server told us if we can t afford to tip then we don t need to be here. They also proceeded to say that there s a McDonald s right across the street just go there. This was highly unprofessional and would not recommend going here unless you wanted to be treated like crap. Highly disappointed.

Im not a pizza snob, I love eating pizza. My & my friends pizza was only ok due to lack of sauce. Plenty of toppings & cheese but needs more sauce cause it was a bit dry if that makes sense. If I go again, and I encourage you to try out this place, I would ask for more sauce on the pizza. The crust didnt wow me, but I love pizza and its a decent good pizza except for needing more sauce. We had the regular crust. Now, we ordered a salad with the cranberries, etc - awesome! Dont miss out on the salad!! The wings were large and sauced and tasty. Staff were prompt and friendly. The place is a cozy neighborhood, friendly vibe with outdoor seating, as well.

I arrived with my wife and ordered several pizzas. One cheese one pepperoni and 4 glasses of water. My son and my 2 grandsons arrived around the time the pizzas came out. I was charged an 18% gratuity of 18$.wth. Ill never go back. Weve been going there for years.

The service was incredibly poor. When my friend asked for the menu, the server was rude and instructed us to scan the code ourselves. After we placed our order, we didn t specify whether it was for dine-in or takeout. While we were eating the pizza, the server came over and yelled at us for not indicating that it was a dine-in order, demanding that we leave. It was extremely rude to be asked to leave while we were still eating.

Got an 8 inch personal pepperoni pizza, cost 15.06 cents, a charge for picking it up, a charge for using a card. I walked in and couldnt find anyone to order with so I just sat around the bar twiddling my thumbs uncomfortably until finally someone showed up. Last night we ordered a pizza on line through their website and an app called Zing. We received an order confirmation, drove 25 minutes to go pick up dinner only to arrive and find out, they never received our order. Are you kidding me?!? I asked them to please cancel the order and refund our payment (they weren t even able to pull it up, and we were not able to wait). They then told me there was nothing they could do in the restaurant; we d have to go through the app on their website. I went outside to explain the situation to my husband waiting in the car (who d placed the order on his phone). He requested the refund on Zing and it said the restaurant had up to 48 hours to confirm the refund. I returned inside to ask them to confirm it, and they once again stated there was, nothing they could do. My husband called the number on the app, gave an actual human our order confirmation number, but we re still not sure if we ll receive a refund! Beyond frustrating and disappointing!

Place has really fallen off recently. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and after over an hour of waiting they finally brought it but it didn t have any pepperoni. I tried telling the waiter this but they were adamant that there were slices of pepperoni under the cheese. Even after cutting all the way through the pizza again in front of the waiter they still refused to take the pizza back and add pepperoni. It sucks the service is so bad because it s really a cool spot.

Date night found us to this local dive. Ive been hear several times for lunch but never with my fianceé. We shared a large Chicken Alfredo pizza that did not disappoint. They offer daily drink specials and the beer selection is modest with many local options. Our waitress was great and offered great service. The manager, maybe owner came to our table and checked-in with us. My fianceé enjoyed her time here and definitely wants to go back.

We came within an hour of closing but the service workers were accommodating and attentive. I appreciate that always. We ordered regular breadsticks, they were a little bland, if they had Parmesan on top it would have been more tasty I think. We ordered the Mediterranean pizza and buffalo chicken. I really enjoyed the cheese quality. It wasnt too stringy or hard. Both pizzas were flavorful. Mediterranean pizza, 6.5/10, solid pizza. The hot buffalo chicken pizza was pretty tasty and not too hot. 7/10.

The pizza and service was good but wouldnt recommend ordering anything with meat. We ordered the lemon pepper wings and soon after they arrived, the entire room filled with what smelled just like a mens urinal. The waiter said that smell was just the lemon pepper but I have never had lemon pepper wings cause that smell before without the meat itself being spoiled. Ive also never returned a dish to the kitchen before but that was atrocious. Would recommend sourcing a different brand of rub if it truly was the seasoning.

We had been excited to try this place after seeing online photos & reading reviews, but ultimately ended up thoroughly disappointed. Called to order 2 specialty pizzas with extra cheese and 12 wings. We picked up the pizza and sat down to eat a couple slices while it was hot and before we had a chance to open the box, we were told very rudely that since we ordered to-go, we had to leave the restaurant. Upon arriving home we realized what we ordered was not what we got. The wings were burnt, neither pizza had extra cheese and the crusts were wrong. After spending $88.00 my husband and I had high expectations but ended up with an equivalent of a low-end pizza place. We will never order from here again.

I googled Best Slice of pizza near me and this spot came up. I typically decide by distance, price and reviews (both highly rated and high number of reviews) and this place met all my desires. First it s a cool looking place with different little rooms, a back patio, and a cute little bar. I decided on a personal chicken pesto pizza and ate it ALL (not typical I eat all my food even a personal pizza). My bartender (I think her name was Monica) instantly became my bestie. They have LOTS of beer options! I tried a lavender beer. I only planned to have one with my pizza but like I said Monica I ended up staying and having 4 lol.

I wanted pizza with my date, and by all accounts, this looked like a good place. Shortly after we were seated we overheard racist rhetoric loudly from the bartender. This curiously went silent after our waitress took our order. As far as the food goes, youll find similar style pizza at Mr. Jims. Maybe theres more to their list of signature pizzas, but the two topping I ordered was passable at best. I dont have much to say about the service. Everything came out in a timely matter, but on a few occasions, I caught staff just staring at us. Thought this was in my head until my date brought it up as well. This place is reviewed high, so we were hoping for a better experience. Should have left when the bartender went on his rant. Wont be coming back, so he can continue that conversation :)

A real old school pizza place that looks like a movie set. They have a variety of dishes and they serve the best pizzas in four different sizes, which are customizable. The staffs are super friendly, but the place is noisy. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Arlington. Update after a year: we went here again (total 3 people) for dinner and the food was amazing. But we were charged an extra gratuity amount almost equivalent to the rate of a pizza since the bill was generated after 8pm, and it was mandatory to pay. Not sure if this is the same scenario everywhere else.

Quite the disappointing experience, one of which we havent experienced previously, which is why its so disheartening. Perhaps theres been a change of command but todays experience severed years long relationship my family and I have had with this establishment. In good faith, with its current staff, I cannot recommend you support this restaurant. The pizza and service are normally pretty superior to most establishments in a college town; however last nights mixup and todays resolution left me disheartened. While the food can be excellent, the level of service isnt worth it. We ordered a thin crust chicken pesto pizza, my 16-year-old picked it up, she got back home and the pizza had red sauce, cheese and chicken on it. When it was read back to us over the phone, it was read correctly. It clearly wasnt the correct pizza. I called and was told to come in the following day (today 1/22) and ask to speak with Jodie. After work today, I called to order the correct pizza, and was told by Jodie that her manager preferred we make the pizza once I was there, so I went in as instructed. Initially Jodie was pleasant, even offered me a complimentary drink but then as she went to the back all of that changed. Her pleasantries turned to joining the cook and those in the back in a bashing party, with employees coming from the back one-by-one with stares, only to return and share such sentiments as, shell take what we give her, she didnt say thin crust. We dont have it in a large, we shouldnt replace nothing, etc. I was subjected to their immature and unprofessional behavior. Jodie began to be combative, almost following me out the door. I left with an original crust pizza. They truly did give me what they wanted, and what was I to do at that point. I question its integrity, whether it has been tampered with or not, and I cant risk my family eating something that has been made by such angry and unprofessional people. I wont return. Do better.

Honestly the best cheesy garlic bread Ive ever had. Other places skimp on cheese and garlic...whats the point in cheesy garlic bread if its mainly bread? Not here! This place is great. We met the owner who is in regularly and really cares. He clearly loves his job and the rest of his staff are great, attentive and friendly. The outdoor area is super cute, really feels like being in your own back yard, and its so nice to meet and mingle with other guests. The quiz night there is a lot of fun. (Nov 12th) Ive never had pizza crust that was so soft and easy to chew. I have trouble chewing certains foods and sometimes pizza crusts hard but this one is so so soft I had to do a double take to see if I was actually eatting bread haha. Decent little hole in the wall place! Seating is a bit odd as the place is rather small, but the service was quick and friendly and the food was great. Decent selections of pizza with some interesting twists! We tried the taco pizza out of curiosity and it was awesome!

Best pizza. The manager is great, very attentive and seems to really enjoy not only his job, but people! Love the pizza and wings! This is one of my Girlfriends and my favorite places! Moving in a few months 20 minutes north, but this will still be on our regular visit list!

Not to worst pizza but not average either. Dough was thin in the middle and thick towards edge. Cheese was thicker than the dough. Buffalo sauce was just thrown on top which made very hard to spread since they do not give any kind of utensils. Pizza was bland no salt and there was none on the table. Maybe a good sports bar.

This place was like an old church or old building. Everything was wood and it was a small area. You can eat outside if you like. The food was fresh and hot. There was a lot of cheese on the pizza. So if youre a cheese lover, whew, youll love this place. We went to a Cowboys stadium tour and wanted pizza afterwards. This place was 2 miles down the street. We ordered breadsticks, hot lemon pepper wings, and cheese pizza. My wings came out with only lemon pepper, which was fine, but when I mentioned to the waitress that the spice was missing, she asked if I wanted it on the side, I said yes. Then, I was charged for it even though it was their mistake. Smh. I also didnt like the salad dressing ranch. I would go back... Park in the back.

If you are visiting the University of Texas at Arlington campus you have to stop in at the Old School Pizza Tavern. Its a charming little pizza hut with excellent food and quick and friendly service. A couple of slices slid off onto the floor as our waiter was carrying them to us so he gave us the rest and then insisted on also giving us another entire pizza! Ive been here a couple of times and have had a good experience both times.

Great pizza there in Arlington! Luckily, I found this place by the UT campus because of the high ratings. It did not fail expectations. I had the chicken bacon ranch pizza and it was an awesome choice! They whipped up my order very quickly and I was out the door. Next time I make it to Arlington, I will make sure to stop by.

Update! Going here less now. Been going here for 3 years, every now and then they will have a 4 star day, but most of the time its 5 stars. Lots of cheese and plenty of toppings. The problem is they are now charging $26 for a large specialty. Cant see spending over $20 on it. I went from going 1-2x per month to ??? cant afford it. We got the BBQ chicken pizza, original crust. So delicious! I definitely recommend. The chicken and cheese have excellent flavor, the crust is delicious too. add some BBQ sauce and its a party in my mouth!

OSPT is a small place with an intimate feel old house with multiple claustrophobic dining areas. College hangout across from UTA.The pizza was very hot and tasty, although you could barely see the ingredients as they blanket it with cheese (l m not used to that). There were virtually no other customers so we were seated immediately and the food was presented promptly. Lots of hard wood surfaces so the place can get loud and noisy easily. All-in-all a good experience and I recommend a visit.

Heres my honest review of this business. Usually, I avoid expressing my opinion unless it contains important customer feedback. Its just not my nature. However, this time I may help those ordering pizza from these guys for the first time, just like me. After reading excellent reviews on their website, I decided to go for it and order pizza for 15 dinner guests and several children. I went in person to place my order so that I could interact personally with the business and ask questions. They were kind of in a hurry mood:)) Nevertheless, they took my order. It is a costly pizza place, too. I paid a good amount of money expecting something exceptional. 2000 + review counts, I thought. I ordered several medium to large pizzas as well as cheese pizza for the kids. I mentioned that I would have about four kids at the party. Most of us know that kids love cheese pizza. The next day, my husband went to pick the pizza up. The kids pizza came in a styrofoam food container. I rushed to open it. Voila, there was a half a 8 or 9 inch pizza with three tiny slices. I had never seen anything like that before and was shocked. They used 16-inch packaging on the 14 and 12-inch pizzas. They were out of matching packaging. Not a big deal, but presentation!!! Upon opening, I could hardly tell the difference between the veggie pizza, pepperoni meat pizza, or chicken pizza. They all looked the same. No artichoke to be seen either that I have requested on the veggie pizza. The edges of the pizza were uneven. I was embarrassed in front of 15 people. After digging and poking, I determined which pizza was which. We couldnt identify pepperoni. I called to complain about the kids pizza. The woman on the other end said, Oh, ah, they should have explained that the kids size pizza is a half pizza - bread with cheese. For Gods sake, why do you call it a pizza, then? Lesson learned. Never again. Old School Pizza Tavern is a tabu for me. I hope you find this helpful.

If i could give more than 5 stars i would!.Today was our first time at old school pizza tavern! It was absolutely fantastic! Everything was fresh ingredients! The atmosphere was very chill and welcoming. Nicole was such an excellent server and bartender. She provided us with some of the best service. This is a very laid back pizza place! I love the vibe and Whiskey Wednesday! I had the veggie, and my wife had pepperoni. We both loved them! The wait staff was super nice! I came in here at the end of March for a company lunch there was nine of us. The server (mixed girl) was fast an efficient she made us laugh and made our entire experience. So I brought my girls for lunch in early May we did not get the same server nor did we have the same experience. So my wife suggested. We give it a try last night for dinner.. WHEN I SAY I HAD THE RUDEST MOST INCOMPETENT SERVER. I will never return here. They definitely need consistency with the type of servers they hire. Wheelchair accessibility: They have handicap parking and a wheelchair ramp that leads to stairs. Please make sense of that.

Out of towner, for what it matters. These are the best wings on my 5 day trip in Texas. And the atmosphere is great, I dig the laid back vibe on the patio. The pizza was well above average, but not amazing. But, I pride myself on trying every pizza I can when I travel. Other people may find it amazing. The great thing about pizza is its versatility.
