Ordered al pastor tacos and the meat was questionable at best. Mainly fatty gristle and any actual meat seemed undercooked. Was like chewing on gummy worms. Chicken in the chicken taco was extremely dry. Fish taco was delicious.

I have never seen a place so clean before! The food is GREAT, and the workers are sweet and patient. I ordered a Plain Torta, and it included a side of fries and Jalapeños... I would have rated it 5 stars if the side of the fries were bigger, but in the end- this restaurant has a big variety of foods to try! I highly ecommend it

So this was our first time this visiting this taco shop we love to visit different taco shops. Upon arrival everything seemed okay there was a customer ahead of us who seemed unsure on what she wanted however the cashier seem to rush her with choosing. She wasnt real specific on elaborating on the products that the woman was questioning. However someone came from the back he looked like he may have been a cook and he began to take our orders. He seemed also to be in rush mode as if he had some better things to do than to take orders Im not sure. Once served I will be honest as always on my reviews good or bad we were not happy I specifically ordered the Birria tacos I do know how the Birria tacos are made and I received regular tacos. The rice was very Bland no seasoning we will not return to this place I will not recommend this spot to anyone if you go here bless you. I hope they work better on their customer service skills because its very important especially where theyre located. They need to have understanding that this is a diverse area so diversity is what will come to your business and keep your business running.

Great place to get tacos! I am from south Texas, so I am not interested in Tex-Mex. These tacos are much more authentic. I also love that they have different salsas to choose from. The price is reasonable for the DFW area, but could be better. I ve been with others who have tried food other than their tacos and they have enjoyed their other food options.

The staff goes out of their way to make sure you re taken care of and the environment is inviting and family-friendly. I can t recommend Taco Pionero enough - authentic Mexican food and culture! Food: Order the tacos. You can t go wrong. I like the cachete and the birria tacos the best, but you can t go wrong with the other choices. I ve also tried their chicken fajitas and those were good, just not as good as the tacos. Location: Located in Arlington, TX right off Arkansas Ln, there is usually lots of parking even when they re a bit busy. Easy to spot as you drive by.

I was really excited about the reviews on this place! We live in the area and wanted to explore something new. When I called them I felt more excited because the person who answered the phone was really friendly and the customer service was fabulous. However, I was disappointed by the Taco Plate. I ordered a variety of their meats to try the majority of them and they were ok. The best was the brisket meat. The taco meat was a little dry. The tortillas were a bit crunchy. The cilantro and onions served were enough for just two tacos out of the five. The order came with only two little pieces of lime for a 5 taco platter. If you meant extra salsa you will need to pay additional. We also ordered aguas frescas but they are not homemade. The Jamaica and horchata tasted like the powdered drinks you buy at the grocery store. I would rate customer service a 5-star for sure, and this matters greatly!Unfortunately the taco plate was not 5-star. The beans were not great either, I couldn t eat them. My husband made the beans work with the rice and adding some of my homemade salsa. Overall the place looks very clean, customer service is great but the taco platter, not the best I ve had. It wasn t cheap either . It was ok but based on the price I would have expected higher quality.

My order was kind of sort of lost but not really... it was more of a kind of miscommunication between me and the website. It was really confusing and kind of bummed in the beginning because Im told my orders ready but then when I get there they dont know who I am or what I ordered LOL! Important thing... it was found! I got the taco plate, beef, w/ refried beans and a side of chips and guacamole. The tacos were so good! Much better than I ever expected and the refried beans were great as well! Whoa! Creamy habanero sauce is an absolute masterpiece I cant get enough! Food is full of flavor but its expected from an authentic Mexican food restaurant. The portions seems small when my stomach keeps asking for more. I have to face reality that Im stuff and cant eat no more. Only downside to the story when ordering to-go we get tortured when it comes to sauces $.75 each for half filled 2oz ramekins. Doesnt feel right since its free when dining in, and half filled containers feels like a smack in the face..

First time ordering from here. Clean and kitchen looked organized and tidy. Ordered lunch for office and they were able to accomodate our large order quickly. We ordered the Taco plate- pastor& barbacoa- delicious! Moist & not dry like some places. Pastor was very flavorful! My only complaint is I wish I had more limes! Staff loved it, even our Dr since she usually sticks to her diet!! They smelled that good! Posole could have used a little more flavor but still good. Will have to try the menudo next time. This is my new taco joint!!! And you get to support a small business owner too!!

This was my first time visiting here on yesterday. I must say that I was not disappointed. The customer service was excellent and the food did not follow behind. We sampled a variety of tacos, the pork, the birria, steak and the fish. I wasnt a big fan of the birria but everything else was fantastic. The guacamole hit it out the park. It was the best guacamole I have tasted. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Literally just finished my pork sauteed with onions and pineapple, on corn tortillas with charro beans, tiny sister had fried fish tacos. Simply delightful, extremely reasonably priced, quick return on our order. Not held down like I can be after heavy pork consumption, cooked clean, no doubt a place for anyone with taco bordem, a truly wonderful find, enjoy
