Everything is great about this place except that it is very misleading on its description. It is not a late night lounge. They close at 9pm most nights. Well before most other restaurants in town.

Very limited menu! Not many options that didnt have a spicy element. Not any solid meals, only snack type items. Plastic utensils and solo cups for water was a surprise. Wait staff needs in the grill and the down stairs bar need some professional training. They are not observant at all. I had to ask for my drink to be refilled twice in the grill and we were in the bar for over 10 minutes without being asked if we wanted a drink. If you are not going to allow walk up orders at the bar you better have top notch servers which you dont! More of a younger crowd hangout than anything else.

Joe and Jeremiah are the best bartenders in Amarillo. Signature cocktails and mocktails are crafted with dedication to perfection. Attentive to all needs. Food is outstanding. Atmosphere of the place is unlike anything else in Amarillo. Wonderful place!

The Mesa Bar & Grill boasts a chic, modern space perfect for a fancy meal, and upscale fancy martinis and daiquiris. The food could certainly use some more flavor but was overall great. We ordered the pork belly tacos and Mexican curry shrimp tacos. Both were portioned well, and tasted fine, just lacked the wow factor when it came to the flavoring. The remnants of Sports World where Amarillo once went for go-karts, batting cages, and putt putt is well past its prime and could use some much needed renovation as they did with the restaurant on the inside. However the basement holds a hidden gem. A haven of retro video games, board games, shuffleboard and even more chic daiquiris and martinis. The furniture is comfortable, 2 pool tables, and a very well stocked bar. All over great experience, just a touch off of perfect.

The drinks are definitely between 12-20 dollars ! go when you know you can pay roughly around $20 a drink plus a good tip! theg have games like duck hunter and more when and bar has two pool tables ! sometimes they are packed so you have to wait to go in!

What a great way to revitalize what used to be SportsWorld. We took our Grandkids and their mom and dad there for lunch and games and had a blast. Can hardly wait for our grandkids to be old enough to ride on the Go Carts.

We went out for my husbands birthday and had a great time downstairs. Leaving, as my spouse and I were watching the last 3 seconds of a final four basketball game, an employee talking on the phone turns off the tv we were watching and keeps talking on the phone, ignores us, while keeping another tv on. We were simply watching the final 3 seconds of a game. Mind you, this was upstairs as we were leaving from downstairs. It was tacky. Unimpressed with this employee and incredibly rude.

Such an amazing restaurant with stellar atmosphere and service! I have gluten allergies and the chef came to the table himself to assure me that everything he would make me would be free from any gluten contamination!! The underground bartenders were able to explain every ingredient with knowledge to assure me that what I ordered was also GF. 10/10 recommend!!

Update now that Mesa Grill is open this was my first time eating at the grill and the concept is a bit confusing. The underground bar is nice! Swanky even. Well crafted drinks and fancy decor. The grill is plastic cups and silver served from a food truck. I had the Curry Tacos which were good, but $30 for that and a drink and I m still hungry. I would have been happy if I could have eaten downstairs but that s not allowed. It feels like 1 of 2 things. The grill is not meant as a place to go eat. It s meant as a place to grab a snack when you are drinking downstairs. Or, when they open the activities outside, it s essentially a poolside grill. I m a big supporter of this place but will definitely eat somewhere else and then come here for drinks. Mesa Underground is absolutely stunning and unlike any bar in Amarillo. Their craft drinks are well thought out and complicated but I m sure there will be something for most. If not, there is a full bar, but I would say that people don t come to places like this to think up their own drink. Our favorite was the Saturday Morning Cartoons which is their take on horchata, but doesn t appear to have any milk do to the elaborate process. Shout out to Ross for being our server, he was fantastic. This is my new go to and probably the coolest bar in town.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic bar and grill restaurant that left me absolutely impressed with their delicious offerings. From the moment I tried their loaded cheese fries, I knew I was in for a treat. The combination of crispy fries smothered in gooey cheese, savory bacon bits, and green sauce was simply mouthwatering. But the delight didnt stop there. Their burgers were cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful. The chips and queso were a true standout, with the warm, melty cheese dip complemented by the crunch of the freshly fried tortilla chips. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and lively, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a satisfying meal with friends or family. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff members who made sure that every aspect of our dining experience was enjoyable. I highly recommend Mesa Bar & Grill!

Wonderful place! Fantastic drinks, food, and most of all service. Super super impressed with how the food and drinks pair together. Even making craft cocktails, the bartenders cranked out drinks for dozens of people in house really fast! We were checked on constantly by every staffmember. Manager, give your people some love because they are AWESOME!
