2 other tables with diners in main dining room. No clean coffee cups. Brought coffee 10 mins later in a reg to-go cup. Coffee was horrible. Ordered Florentine crepe and breakfast crepe. Took 30 mins to get food. Place was basically empty. Was told that they ran out of crepes so cook had to make more. Considerable difference in size of crepes between the 2 dishes. I wish Id have taken pics. Chicken was over-cooked - tough. Not enough sauce, which may have been a blessing as it didnt taste like anything. Was told breakfast crepe was good. Lots of bacon, not enough sauce. Womens bathroom was disgusting. Filthy floors, dead bugs on floor. Wooden slated dividers in dining room were dusty. I dont expect perfection but a rag run on across it everyday would solve that problem. Hello, side work. Really disappointed. We like to come to IHOP. A great variety and food/coffee/service is usually great. IHOP has a great opportunity to gain some market share as Dennys near here closed. We eat brunch at least once a week. Lots of places to choose from. IHOP wont be at the top of the list for awhile.

I don t usually do this but there needs to be some changes to the service. We waited over an hour and a half for our food and no one would talk to us until I tried to go pay for our drinks so we could just leave. Then the lady was like they are bringing it right now. We reluctantly sat down and ate. The food was ok. Had to wait again to pay and not even a slight discount for the poor service or LONG wait.

Worst food we have ever eaten. So bad even our 9 year old spit it out and it is usually his favorite. Over med eggs were CRUNCHY!!! Sirloin tips were so hard I couldn t chew them. The coffee tasted old. It made my husband sick to his stomach just from the smell. We were seated and then 30 mins later we had to go ask to be served. It was almost 75.00 for my husband, myself and our 9 year old!!!

Do not come to this IHOP. Food was decent, the server was nice but it took 36 minutes to get the food and after an hour of yelling the cook was finally asked to leave because he was screaming at the waitresses. If you ever find your self in this parking lot, just go to the Waffle House

There was an issue with my food but I brought it to my waitress attention. She was very kind and asked me what I would like to do. I got a different order made for me. It was made well and no issues or complaints with remade food. So stars are redeemed as my issue was fixed promptly and respectfully no issues. Our waitress was great. Overall a good experience and we will be back because of this and because of how the issue was handled. The way ALL places should handle issues!

Food didnt look fresh and was cold. The ham looked reheated.. what I ordered was different than what they delivered. When I said it wasnt right. The lady said well it wasnt on the ticket like that. I dont believe that was my fault. She wasnt very friendly. I wont go back to that location.. My waitress was awesome, but she couldnt make up for her co-worker or the quality of food.. She got a great tip from us. The bathrooms need cleaning, and one of the toilet seats is hanging off.

We came in after an unfortunate trip to the Emergency Room BSA Hospital. It was about 3:30 am. We had to wait to be seated. For no reason. They werent busy at all. We got seated. The atmosphere was just awful... No paintings on the walls. Just bare bleak gray paint! Out food was delivered very nicely. Our waitress was awesome! We didnt get any silverware with our food! The waitress said that they were outta clean silverware! They werent busy at all! But they were outta clean silverware!?! Just ridiculous! So our waitress said she would get us plastic silverware. Then she went to put in my extra order of bacon. We finally got our plastic silverware. Which Im not a fan of at all... This place has certainly gone down hill! Just an attitude of carelessness, and ineptitude... So sadd. It was so late, and we were so hungry that we had no other options! I certainly will never be back!!!

The wait at the door to even be greeted seemed to have no cause. There were several servers going back and forth and fully half the restaurant was empty. The kitchen seemed to be keeping pace as the entire passthrough and counter were full of plates, the entrance was just ignored. Fortunately, once we were acknowledged, we were sat quickly and our server was nice. The food tasted good but wasnt exactly generous and the crepes, while good, came with no sides so we ended up ordering more food. Finally, the pancakes were so small I thought they were kiddie pancakes. We hadnt been to IHOP in a long time and likely wont be back.

Nothing about this place is clean. Somebody please take a clean soapy brush to the entire inside. The chairs and floors had a thick sticky grime on them that has clearly accumulated over the years. A dirty mop isnt going to do the job. The womens bathroom had a urine smell and hasnt been thoroughly cleaned in awhile and the sink is clogged with food. Also, please tell the servers not to sweep near customers who are eating.

Food was okay, but the management was awful. Was there for my daughter s birthday breakfast, got through the door and the manager himself and a waitress began arguing over seating my family? My husband, myself and my daughter. Then while we sat, a waitress continued to complain and make sarcastic remarks over a tip she received. Oh, $3, I can pay my light bill now! My experience at IHOP in Amarillo, TX, had its ups and downs. The atmosphere was nice, and I was seated promptly, but the wait for food was excruciatingly long 45 minutes! The waitress seemed more interested in her phone than attending to customers. Additionally, I noticed our food sitting under a heat lamp for too long before being served. The bathroom had a strong perfume smell that lingered even after leaving, making for an unpleasant ride home. Overall, a poor experience marred by several issues.

This was the absolute most terrible experience Ive had at this establishment. Where to start. First there was only two waitress neither one knows how to speak clearly. You cant understand a thing they say. Secondly the food come out cold when asked for warm pancakes you get attitude back. They both need a lesson in hygiene. One had on a black hoodie and was covered in animal hair. Then to top it off you go and pay $45.00 for food that was barely edible. Been here a couple times, but not going back after the last experience. Took almost an hour to get our food and it wasnt packed, even the waitress said it wasnt that busy. My hashbrowns were so overcooked they werent edible, the waitress did offer to have them make more but at that point I was already almost done eating & figured it would take to long to get. All booths except 2 tables in very back. Took Mother in wheelchair there for brunch. She got the omelet with avocado on top and I got sunny side up eggs. With hashbrowns, chicken fried steak. Took almost a whole hour and saw our waitress wrapping silverware. Food was on counter for 7 or more minutes waiting to be served when I went to look. Nobody but 3 booths were occupied this day at 3 pm or so. Food came out when I walked up and told a different waitress I want to speak to manager. Our food was brought by different waitress. Avocado was dark and black on top of omelet. Rotten avocado. Not fresh green avocado. My sunny side up eggs were really really brown crispy on bottom, I was shocked. They offered to redo it all. My order plate was knocked down to half off. The meal was 21 bucks with coffee we had. Too much for waiting an hour and waiting longer to have it all redone. My mother got sick from omelet afterward. Running to toilet sick. Pepto bismol helped a bit. The omelets was probably not fresh or remade. It was a bad experience to say the least. We were going to leave after waiting an hour. We may not go back again. Manager said problems with cook. I will have to think about coming back here again until they get a good cook. This has to change to better leadership and fresher food and Common sense not to serve the customer burnt on bottom eggs and rotten sliced avocado on top of food. I am still shocked with the cook and waitress decision to serve this to us like that. Chef Ramsey would shut them down. Sorry, but being from HTown, thus place was awful experience. Thank you.

I am a Grubhub delivery driver and sat waiting on an order for over an hour for the one slow cook named Mario to tell me didnt see the order and have yet to make it. I canceled the order and called a complaint into Grubhub immediately. Others sitting at tables had been sitting for over an hour as well for their food. This company is more worried about putting in working cameras then making sure they have enough kitchen staff to cook. The waitresses were great and trying to keep all customers happy. The cook not so much he was moving like a Turtle!

Usually a slam dunk 5star for me, not today!!! My wife and I treated ourselves to some late morning breakfast at our local i-hop. When we walked in, we saw it was fairly slow and we got seated right away. My wife ordered the Eggs Benedict and I order the Chicken Fried Steak breakfast with an extra egg and toast for me, both came with the little pancakes which we love. We ordered and after waiting over 35 minutes, we asked our server if they had to negotiate with Alabama to get the embryos over medium??? It took exactly 44 minutes to get our breakfast, unusually slow for this I-hop. My wife started to enjoy her breakfast and as I started on mine, my pancakes and toast were cold, I only received two eggs and underneath my CFS was a small pile of burnt hash browns, totally unedib!!! Very disappointing as I-hops are one of my favorites to visit. We called the server over about my meal concerns and she had no clue what to do, I asked her if she could get me new pancakes, new toast, side of hash browns and an extra egg. She said no problem, well, after watching my wife eat almost her entire breakfast, I looked at our server again wondering where my breakfast is?? She said she would have the manager come talk with us, I thought, for what?!?! After about another 10 minutes waiting for the manager, he finally showed up and agreed that everything needed to be reordered and promised he would take care of it. Mind you, they were not busy at this time and we are now going on over an hour. People that came in and ordered after us have long gone, my wife has already finished her meal and I m still waiting. My meal finally came, everything looked great as it always does or at least it used too, the manager said not to worry he would compensate us for the trouble and I told him thanks and enjoyed my breakfast. We received our bill and there was no compensation on it at all, instead of making as issue out of it, we paid and left. This crew including the manager blew it today!!! BLEW IT!!! My first less than 5star for I-Hop and for today, earned and well deserved. We have choices in Amarillo and will go to the other I-Hop next time!!! They only got a 2star because I still believe in the I-hop brand and just couldn t go lower.

My partners and I ate breakfast here last Thursday. I got country fried steak, eggs and hashed browns and my partners had fish and shrimp dinner & a breakfast sampler plate with eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns and pancakes. The food was prepared well it was just very generic. There was nothing really good or bad about it. Very unremarkable food. The service was great though. The employees were kind and professional and our server was very personable and helpful. If the food here was as awesome as the employees Id eat here more than 2 times a year.

Idk where to start. Food took 27 minutes, I ordered beef tips medium cooked and eggs with hash browns. Out of the 11 pieces of meat, 3 were not only beyond rare but actually still cold. 2 tablespoons of hash browns and supposedly 2 eggs which was actually another two tablespoons (not exaggerating). Wasnt given silverware or syrup for my super tiny, dry and unappealing pancakes. I sat for several minutes staring at my plate with nothing to eat it with as the waitress walked around doing other things...this was after I had to ask for the silverware. Upon leaving, I was standing literally 2 feet away from the staff and the manager while they all 4 stared at and laughed at the couple just for requesting their waffles a little darker. Prior to hearing this extremely unprofessional gossip I had heard the manager tell this couple that he couldnt make them darker because they went thru a machine with a timer. The whole thing was horrible. I severely suggest to go to another location if youre wanting IHOP. This is the third time I had a horrible experience here and I finally decided to say something. The manager is mainly to blame, very very unprofessional talking about guests in front of other guests just because they didnt like raw waffles. As I sat up to leave, I gave the woman who ordered darker waffles a look of amazement and both her and her husband shot me the most disappointed looks Ive seen in a while. I could tell they were very very unhappy with the service! I hope this helps get something done about this location. Corporate should get involved. If you want great food and service try Dennys IMO I couldnt obviously give negative stars so they get one . The waitress was polite and tried so thats the reason I gave service 3 .

Savannah is one of my favorite waitresses because regardless how busy they are she has a smile, friendly and very attentive. Theres an older gentleman that I have had who is amazing and gives the same service, exceptional and excellent personality. The wait was long as to be expected on a Saturday at noon. Once my family was sat we noticed that the table was filthy and sticky. We asked our server to clean it and he instantly started talking trash about other employees not doing their job. Very unprofessional, although every table around us stayed dirty for 20+ minutes while we waited for our food. About 30 minutes into our wait for food staff call a team meeting where all they did was gripe about different shifts doing different things. They finished the meeting and while my coffee was being refilled they called another one. Ive been sitting here for 45 minutes and my server has been to my table twice. Ill never bring my family back to this restaurant.

Food was OK. Didnt have a spoon for coffee. Server said they didnt have many so I asked why. Basically he said when they scrape leftovers off plates, the spoons end up in the trash and they never bother to retrieve spoons from the trash. I found that strange. Food was OK. Service was not the best.

extremely uncomfortable. probably one of the worst experiences Ive had at a restaurant. literally only 1 other customer when we arrived. it was myself, boyfriend and our 3 young kids. it took over 30 min from when we placed our order to receive our cold food, because the waitress and cook decided to start yelling and cussing at each other after she waited 25 min to ask the cook what was taking so long. no manager in sight to intervene, or at least apologize to us after the fact. I was very upset and wanted to pay for the drinks and leave, but my boyfriend made us stay because the food was almost ready so I made him pay. if it were up to me we would have walked out when they were causing that scene. I will not return to this location. these employees and whoever the person in charge was supposed to be need to grow up and learn how to act right in front of paying customers.

Food was excellent & our waitress was fantastic. She checked on us often & always with a smile. This location was off I40 in Amarillo, Tx. Food was hit when served & coffee cups remained full as we received great service. Parking: Plenty of parking at location, easy access in & out. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp for wheel chairs.

My husband went to the restroom, and the cook was in there and didnt even wash his hands before proceeding to make peoples food. The restaurant was filthy with many empty tables covered in food mess that was just left to sit there.

Anytime I go they never give me exact change which is always weird. Theyre also out of everything, and servers never refill drinks unless you specifically ask, if theyre even at your table. Maybe its the way how theyre trained, Im not sure, but either way its never pleasant.

This was my first time ordering pickup from Ihop, and it was a nightmare. I ordered through Uber Eats and my husband went to pick it up. According to the App the order was going to be ready by 7:15pm. My husband got there about 7, and said all the pickup spaces were full so he went inside where it was also packed. By 7:43pm, when he was finally able to get someone to acknowledge him, he was informed that our order was given to someone else. So he waited while they prepared our order again. This was a small order, it was 3 simple meals, an omelette, chicken fried steak, and chicken tenders. He waited until almost 9:30pm and never received our order. He decided to ask for a refund and cancel the order and they told him they didn t have time to do that. I understand holidays can be hectic, but this is completely unacceptable. I paid for someone else to eat our meals tonight. I want my refund.

The food was terrible....the eggs were way undercooked, the hashbrowns were cold, I ordered extra crisp bacon & it was not. The waitress was very nice & took good care of us, even though they were very busy & there were only two waitresses. She offered to have our food done over, but we declined. Our appetites were pretty much gone.

Went here, and normally, the service and atmosphere are wonderful, but there were two servers that hurt the atmosphere and were very bad about service. They werent all that nice. Had a part of about 12, and they said it would be a while before they could get us a table. They sat me and my mom down at a temporary table, and we sat there for 30 minutes. They never once asked us if we wanted anything to drink while we waited. Once we got our table, our food came out warm or cold. None of it came out hot like its supposed to be.

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE management. It is actually insane how a manager could treat her employees so badly. She threw a banana at our waiter and yelled at us when we tried to speak to her. There was hair in my food, the food took forever to come out, the place is overall filthy, i could honestly keep going. Our waiter was the sweetest ever and was so patient with our large party. The night shift manager on 12/15/2023 deserves to be fired. Multiple employees came out and apologized for her behavior and even asked us to leave a review. They are all so mistreated and are actually scared to ask her for stuff, such as redoing ordering or even ordering new things. Adults who act like children should not be working in a busy environment, it s honestly pathetic. Manager description: straight eyebrows,, dark skinned,, goes by moe. She works every friday and saturday, , her employees referred to these days as hell. She is a terrible person, and it s not customers fault she is terrible at her job.

Wednesday 12-6-23 Portions were small today for breakfast. When mentioned it to the waitress( small dark hair w little red and tattoos) didn t get her name,, she copped an MASSIVE attitude. Then would not come back to our table when she got close to the table. I was going to order more food and apologize to her for mentioning small portions..She looked over at me, and said I will not accept your apology. Then I said cancel the food . She then threw her hand up and said BYE!!!! At this point we should have just got up and left the ticket. Saying BYE! With such an attitude is so unprofessional!!! I will never go back to that IHOP again she was the rudest person I have ever encountered in any type of restaurant. I hope she gets her karma handed back to her! when you apologize to someone, the least, they can do is except the damn apology instead of being a little B about it. I will definitely be calling management today. I m going through chemo and radiation and for someone not to accept my apology for such a simple statement about portion size was very disrespectful. Needless to say I left the building in tears and I will never be back to that IHOP again.!!!!!! still tipped her five dollars but I should have honored her request when she threw her hands and said BYE!! Never ever came back to the table, never got a refill, a gentleman hand to come over to give us the ticket and said he would inform his manager about our experience. I don t care if your short staffed, having a bad day or hate your job don t treat others like this waitress treated us!

Not sure about the food, went to 2 different places. First one kept looking at us and never came to seat us, so we left. The second one was out of everything. And sharing of that information took longer than it ever should. Going out to eat with the kids use to be fun, nothing good anymore, and everyone has forgotten what service truely is. I use to love tipping waiters/waitress, and others. But the tip comes after the service, something else people have forgotten. And I havent seen service anywhere worth tipping in a long time.

This I-HOP is the most nastiest and dirtiest restaurant that I ve ever dined in! It smelled of marijuana in the air and the menus were stuck together filthy! I can see why there were cases of salmonella poisoning! And the waitress Angela was mean and very, very rude! The tables were nasty as well as the restaurant. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone! Eat at your own risk! And I can t comment on the food because it was so bad that we got up and left! I mean it was that bad!

I didn t like it, waited damn near 2 hrs to get our food. Wait time is ridiculous. Some of the food was dry and nasty. The pancakes were good thou. Personally I didn t like the experience at all and won t be back. The atmosphere was terrible they had us in an area that was loud by other customers and everyone else couldn t even enjoy their time there. Went in tonight @ 9:10pm, 5 tables sat and they cut a waitress. The waitress that was cut was swearing because she was cut. There was another waitress that took a cook home. The only waitress there sat us and said she d be right back, then she went and sat down and ate her dinner. The other tables didn t even have drinks. We waited as long as we could and left. I hate that ihop has staffing issues but come on. Take care of your customers. Can t rate the food! Never got to order. Won t be back anytime soon.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast. We had to wait for a seat while there were several tables open. Obviously they are short on staff. Ended up waiting forever for our breakfast while we could see the order on the counter. When we inquired about the status we were told that they were waiting for the one meal to be completed. They finally brought out the families breakfast minus the meal they were waiting on. When the missing meal finally came out the eggs were over cooked. Will not be going back.

If I could give zero stars I would have. I got breakfast early this morning the food wasn t fresh and the service was fine. The workers were working hard but the cooks I don t care for their cooking at least that crew. I stopped coming here for years and finally when I decided to return the food is nasty and not fresh.
