I bought a washer with an extended warranty. Their warranty company repair company is been out here two times within four weeks. STILL NO FIXING OF THE WASHER. I HAVE BEEN WITHOUT A WASHER FOR WEEKS...THIS IS A TRAVESTY!

Terrible experience. Ive been waiting months for a proper door installation, and after multiple failed attempts, they are now asking if Id accept a damaged door. The lack of professionalism and care is mind boggling. I wouldn t recommend Lowes to anyone looking for quality door installations.

Rating: Walked into Lowe s yesterday, and it felt like a ghost town no one greeted us or even asked if we needed help. It s like we were invisible! We headed over to check out the lawn mowers, but wow, were they overpriced! Especially considering it s the end of the summer and mowing season. Definitely not what we were expecting. Not a great experience overall.

Advertised on Doordash a $20 google nest mini deal only to find out that the item is out of stock, resulting in a waste in the DoorDash driver and my time, and the need to deal with DoorDash support. It is clear that it is lying to buyers about non-existent deals in DoorDash in order to make clients buy other items. This store, and Lowes, cannot blame it solely on DoorDash because it should have enough internal data to know if an item is out of stock, or at the very least check current deals and remove them off advertising if the item is out stock. It is clear that it is complicit in lying to DoorDash clients.

Excellent customer service at this location. If you have a choice between the McKinney store (at 75/380) and this one, choose this one 100%. I had an industrial fan with a 2 yr warranty catastrophically fail after just 2 months and got very little help from the McKinney store but this Allen store saved the day.

These guys are good, but I had to wait awhile to get wire cut as only few people knew how to do it. The service is much better than the Home Depot s in the area. Other experiences at this location have been hit or miss. Sometimes the pickup order is ready and you can be in and out in a few minutes. Other times you have to wait 10-15 minutes. The customer service people up front who are new should probably not be working up there until they can be fully trained in customer service, refunds, problem solving, etc.

We obtained a Lowe s credit card, made purchases, paid it off on time (within 2 weeks of the purchase). When we came back to make new purchases, the card was declined on the basis that there would be a 30 day hold for using the card, despite the fact that it was in good standing and had been been paid off. Why bother with Lowe s credit?

Its just disappointing to go to any of these stores anymore. The website said the Lowes I was at didnt have what I wanted but the one in Allen 15 miles away had 3 of them. Well if they did I couldnt find them nor anyone to help me. Any employee I tried to make eye contact with looked and turned the other way. I had to have looked pretty lost looking all over for tree stump remover. They were more worried about getting off work in an hour. So I left empty handed after a 25 min drive to get there. Home depot would have been just as bad. No customer service anymore anywhere. Makes me want to just say screw it and give amazon all my business. And Lowes would say go ahead your money means nothing to us.

Brandon at Lowe s in Allen helped load up my cart with 6 boxes of carpet tiles as well as transfer the boxes into my car. He was proactive and very helpful with assisting me to the aisle where the carpet tiles were located. He waited for me to pay for the products so he could help me load up my car. I was in a rush because the contractor was waiting for me to purchase the carpet tiles so he could install them the same day. Excellent customer service, friendly, professional, and I highly recommend Brandon if you need help looking for items in the store. Thank you, Brandon for your excellent service on June 30, 2024!

My husband and I recently purchased an allen + roth 11ft Cantilever Patio Umbrella from your store on Saturday, June 15, 2024. I must express our disappointment with the service we received during our visit. Firstly, the store was noticeably understaffed, which made our shopping experience challenging. We had difficulty locating a cart to transport our purchase and were left to load the umbrella into our truck without any assistance. Although the service team member who initially assisted us was polite and tried to be helpful, it was evident that they were overwhelmed, as they were also attending to another customers needs simultaneously. Furthermore, despite purchasing a 3-year extended warranty for the umbrella, we were unable to receive clear instructions on how to activate or utilize this warranty should any issues arise in the future. This lack of information left us feeling uncertain about the support we can expect after our purchase. We believe that good customer service is crucial to a positive shopping experience, and unfortunately, our recent visit did not reflect this standard. We hope that you can address these issues to ensure that future customers do not encounter similar frustrations.

I made a purchase of 2 storm doors about a month ago. I applied for a credit card that we were interested for the promotion which was no APR for 12 months. Associates also offered us we will get a 20% discount or $100 off on a certain amount which we said yes why not. After reviewing my credit card statements, it turns out they are charging me APR. After speaking with the bank, they told me the 0% APR for 12 months OR 20%/$100 off can only be applied. I can only choose one not combined. That was not the conversation I had an associate or someone with customer service. So now I have to take an extra mile and visit them to have them fix it and redo the whole transaction. If an associate is going to sale learn before you offer or just simply dont get involved. Its already frustrating having to do this again. I never shop at Lowes and will never come back after my first experience.

I was at the store trying to buy pvc pipes and get them cut. I reached out to customer service desk and they called for someone to help me. Frank (store manager) shows up after a while and instead of helping me, ends up helping another customer who came after. Spends 10 mins with him and then as he gets free learns I need help cutting pvc pipes (10 count). At first starts saying, they dont cut in this store. But when I said, I was here yesterday and they cut for me, he starts looking around. I had to show him the tool another associate used to cut a day before. Then he looks at the pipes and says he doesnt hv time. I mean does he even value customers time? kind of feels he was lying right from the beginning to avoid work. He can spend 10 mins on prev customer but doesnt hv time for another. If manager is this way, wonder how else his team is!

This store will not honor the craftsman warranty. I was told that the craftsman lifetime warranty for wrenches was only 30 days and I had to have a receipt. The manager refused to come talk to me and I tried calling 4 different times and no one would answer the phone. Update: I called the corporate line. On the third time I finally got someone who knew what I was talking about. He found in the internal documents how an employee should process a craftsman tool exchange like you could do at sears. Unfortunately it was not public and they wouldn t share it with. So I have to get an employee at the store to call the corporate office and ask them to review Case# 58604606 and they will explain to the employee how to do their job. So much work that I have to do. I think it s time to scrap craftsman and go with Pittsburgh tools. No reason to pay 4x as much and be hassled and have to get someone to do their job.

DO NOT BUY EXPENSIVE ITEMS FROM LOWES... When I bought an open box lawn mower, I was told I could return it within 30 days. When I tried to return it 10 days after purchase, I was told by a supervisor that they only issue returns if the box is unopened and factory-sealed, but THE BOX WAS ALREADY OPENED WHEN I BOUGHT IT AND IT WAS ALREADY USED WITH GRASS ALL OVER IT; I didnt even use it. The supervisor said that the only way she would give a refund is if the item is returned the same day, despite the 30-day return policy, and even then, she MIGHT refuse. The store didnt refund my money because the lawn mower was used, but I DIDNT USE IT, THEY SOLD IT TO ME USED. So they accepted the first buyers used lawn mower return, but told me I was SOL.

They charged me $241 extra because my dishwasher installation required longer hoses than I paid for with emthe machine. So, $100+ to connect 2 sections of hoses together, and they didnt even buy the hose! One HAD to be one approved by the manufacturer - I replaced the old machine with the same make. Whats the difference on a drainage hose?! The installer just told me he makes $40 to install the machine. He doesnt get any part of that $241. It all goes to Lowes - for what? It wasnt parts or labor! Rip off. Will not use them again.

Nice store arrangement to shop around. Lots of plant goods to welcome the incoming Spring time. Not many staff members around to ask when I needed the help though. Great to experience the Apple Pay available at the location while the competitor (H) nearby had no Apple Pay capability as far (April, 2024). The online order pick-up experience was great. The team members (including the lead or manager) were very helpful to move the products on to my car. Even when I said I could take care of it by myselt, they still insisted to help moving all products. Great customer service!

The home improvement store across the street didnt have a register open in their garden center at 8am on a Tuesday, and I needed 2 flatbeds worth of plants. They asked me to navigate outside for my purchases and checkout inside as they didnt have staff. I had a lot to get, so was disappointed. Hauling it back and forth wasnt part of my shopping plan. I decided to try Lowes Garden Center for the first time, and wasnt disappointed. I was greeted by a cashier at 8:10am arrival, 2 associates in the garden area willing to help me, and I saved money! I spent $500 last year across the street last year, and found equally beautiful arrangements for less. The service was amazing, and all staff were friendly. I purchased pre-made arrangements and transplanted them at my home. These ranged from $40-$60 each, and I feel all will do well for the summer. Headed back to buy mulch at Lowes!

The associate who assisted me when I bought my rug was just okay. and the cashier was also not friendly except for the 2nd cashier by the name Patience she was very helpful and assisted in putting the heavy rug into my vehicle, and she did this with all smiles. So tired of coming to this store to purchase material only to find they have no lumber carts anywhere! So I go back to the parking lot to get into my vehicle and drive across the street to Home Depot....they actually have more than 10 lumber carts! 2-29-24 ..come into store to ask for help with a plumbing shower valve the guy in plumbing offered zero help! I am a bit disappointed in the checkout process for veterans. I am registered with Lowe s and, when I check out, it IDs me on the screen with correct address and etc. Yet it still requires I scan my drivers license barcode. Also it took 3 tries before it accepted my DL barcode. And I had to search to find the small print in the upper right hand of the screen to see my military acceptance. Pretty painful.

Four month ago I entered a one-stat review for this stir, today I was reminded of the reason. At the check out an employee stood next to the credit card machine as I was about to enter my code for the debit card. I asked him why he was trying to see my code, he answered the supervisor told me! I asked for the manager, and the female who was watching from a distance came and said she is the supervisor , and the employee it misunderstood her. I asked for a manager, and the one showed up asked why I needed him? Needless to say both the manager and the supervisor looked like relatives. This by far the most ill-managed Lowe theres. Before I entered: Almost the same as the other Lowes home improvement stores in set-up and inventory; however, the lack of help in Allen store is seriously pervasive. That would be 4-stars, then at the self checkout point the employee is told me you are full of it when I asked for his help. I wonder why would anyone say something like that?

Lowe s has horrible customer service. I bought a KitchenAid microwave from them 10 months ago. I registered the warranty. The more crowbar keypad has stop working. I called KitchenAid. They said it was under warranty and that they were sending an email to the Lowe s in Allen, TX, where I bought it so I could get a replacement. They told me Lowe s would call me within a couple weeks. Lowe s never called. After 6 weeks I called KitchenAid. They said they emailed a specific person at Lowe s (I am not listing the Lowe s employees name here out of courtesy). KitchenAid emailed that person on October 18th. Lowe s manager just told me that they never got the email from KitchenAid. I know this isn t true because KitchenAid gave me the employee name and email date. Basically, Lowe s just dumped it back on me to resolve. I have never had a good experience at Lowe s. They are overpriced and there aren t ever any employees in the different departments to help you. I should have never bought the microwave at Lowe s. Lesson learned. I won t be shopping Lowe s ever again and I will make sure my associates are made aware of my experience so they don t get burned by Lowe s either.

Went in, bought a faucet. Opened faucet in the car to make sure I had all necessary parts, discovered spout was damaged. Turned around to exchange it for a non-damaged one. LOWES DOESN T EXCHANGE. They said policy doesn t allow for exchanges. They would have to refund the purchase and I would have to pay again. Same exact product. With 15 minutes. Nope. Here s the kicker the debit card refund takes 3 business days. So I am supposed to pay $85 TWICE for a broken product? I don t care what policy is. I want to go home and fix the sink that is broken. I would have more patience if it had been even the next day, but it was 15 (FIFTEEN) minutes. The product was damaged. Just make it right. Nope. At least when I am abused at Wal-Mart, I expect it. I just left Lowe s Allen on McDermott after having a very disappointing interaction. My AC at home went out and tech won t be able to make it out till Monday. So I decided to visit my local Lowe s to buy an window ac I found on their website for $229 to hold my family over until I get ac repaired. They showed to have 15 in stock. I did not find in the aisle. The young lady that I asked for help was no help at all. She said they are somewhere she just doesn t know where and was quickly trying to send me to another store no where near my home. I asked for an accommodation on one of the units they did have on shelf. She asked her manager Andreas, he promptly said No and that he wasn t going to discount? Her words not mine. Ok I literally only need for 2 days and that was the one that made the best fiscal sense one and was the right size for my needs? I asked if they could look for the 15 and she said no. I asked to speak to Andreas and she said he s busy? WTH? I shop here because of the service they give Veterans. I literally remodeled my whole house here over the last couple years. Super disappointing in this experience. So off I go to Home Depot, which I don t shop at ever. Might start now since they also started giving Veterans discounts too.

Disappointed with my experience. Order a refrigerator online but the fridge was not delivered. Went into store to see if they could help. Initially they could and was able to reschedule the appointment however when we received the fridge a week later it was damaged. Notified the store of the issue and they told me I had to call the delivery company to deal with the damages. I do appreciate the store providing a credit for the original missed delivery but how come they can not directly handle the the damaged fridge. Now 3 weeks later and still have a damaged fridge at my home .

I m so disappointed with Lowe s today and hope it s this particular location. I haven t had this issue before. I went to return materials that I bought and it s more than 90 days old but unpacked. They refused to give credit back on my credit card and gave me store credit. In past 20 years I never had issue they always gave credit back on card or even sometime got cash. Manager or whoever was there was very rude and not at all cooperative. I have been seeing this across many other businesses they are now getting greedy and less customer friendly. Sorry Lowe s you lost 16 years loyal customer. Hope some upper management read this and give better training on customer service.

Best Lowe s in Allen. No one rarely stationed in appliances but when there, very helpful. I had to purchase so many appliances recently from a dryer, dishwasher, and upright freezer. Affordable pricing and sometimes merchandise available for same day pick-up. Recommend this location for convenience as well.

No one there to help you even after you hit the Health button several times. You call them on the phone and every single time you connect to the department it disconnects you so when you speak to the manager about it, she says it s just you nobody else complains about it And was very dismissive. Its a home improvement store. I always go to Home Depot 1st before Lowes, but Lowes carries some items in stock that HD doesnt. Lowes is a back up plan when HD fails on certain items.

I was assisted today by Goodluck with my patio furniture purchase. He was very caring in making sure I found not only the correct table and chairs for my new home, but also the correct sales price. Goodluck escorted me to the register to arrange for pickup later this week. Goodluck overhead my military discount and thanked my family for our service. I often shop at this store and they seem to have good deals every now and then. Just keep in mind some employees have major attitudes and are unwilling to assist or even answer simple questions. I guess their management don t care enough either.. Also bought some sod the other day and the rude lady at the main front desk didn t even give me the veteran discount.

Misleading promotion of buy three get three free Garden Soil Miracle-Gro .75 CU FT. Instead, the sign should be 50% off. They are advertising buy 3 get three free but at the register they are actually charging for all the items. I m not entirely sure whether their system is not updated to reflect the buy 3 get three or actually just a shady promotion. Some of the crew members explaining that the price is reduced from its original value so that makes it buy 3 get three free. I understand the price is 50% off the regular price which is a great price but that s still not how buy three get three free should work. When I was having conversations with the crew and manager they mentioned that they will bring it to the corporate and I hope they actually do. While I understand it s no one s fault at the store but it s just not a great customer experience with this kind of misleading promotions.

I went to Lowe s today about 12:30 pm for treated lumber. I found what I needed. I needed 5 boards cut in half. I was then informed by a lumber associate they no longer cut treated lumber on their saw due to chemical concerns in the lumber. No other options were offered. I left the store and went across the street to Home Depot. I was in and out in 10 minutes with the boards cut. They were not aware of any safety issues. If there are any safety issues, you need to post those issues for customers as well. I think you have a lazy and poorly trained associate.

Went in to get a hammer cause I needed to nail something to a wall. Employee was super helpful to get me the best hammer. Went home to nail a painting to the wall,but when I swung the hammer the head came right off and clonked my great-great-great grandmother in the head. Overall they should get better hammers.
