I mean its not a great extravagant falls or anything but its right along the bike path and walking path which is fantastic as it strolls through the woods. Definitely a high part of my morning to take a walk on the path.

One of the best places to go in Allen despite its size! The feeling of not being able to see anything but trees is great, and the sound of the water is so peaceful. Great place for Golden hour as well, its worth checking out for sure, just bring bug spray! And watch out for bees on the tracks!!

Very intereating historic place with information to learn about this old dam and the events that took place a century ago. If you like to enjoy reading this place a couple of posts narrating history with old pictures and describing the original structures bult at this place. It is interesting to see various remanents of the rail and the water tower. The place is very well maintained and is closed to several hotel in the area. It is even possible to walk through the trail to get to some of the closest hotels. From here you can follow the trail to and old bridge on one direction and to the other you can get to the next park near the football stadium Worthwhile.

Neat historical site with old stone dam and old railway. You can, with some caution, walk across both the dam and the old railroad bridge. The rail bridge has a lot of spray paint art on it. There are about 6 information signs across the main bridge that detail the railway company, the dam, the water tower, and other features of the way stop. You can see the old base of the water pump area and base of the old water tower.

This is a beautifully maintained and enjoyable walk. We brought our pups and they really liked all the sniffing sites, lol. My only complaint is seeing pick up dog waste signs and yet there are no dog poo bags present. We always bring our own, but it certainly helps to have some readily available for those who may have run out. I look forward to going back soon!

It is a lovely park with plenty of different photographic options; the bridge, dam with waterfall and abandoned railroad tracks make this a desirable location. Add in grassy areas, woods and a bike trail and this becomes a wonderful space. I enjoy my visits here. The parking area is very small, but there is ample in the commercial areas near it.
