Amazing Golden Chick location with Great workers and always FRESH FOOD!!!! This is one of my favorite Golden Chick Locations for Food/Service as well!! Ashley is a Great manager and Trudy made my meal today and it was Absolutely PERFECT !! And I Love that they play Christian music for all the guests to enjoy!! First time I drove thru this location. Craving for comfort food. I was told the fish filets would take 10-min wait! I ordered wings and a piece of chicken. The wait between placing the order and picking it up, was 14 minutes. I could have ordered the fish after all! On the bright side, I loved the chicken thigh. Really moist and flavorful.

This has to be the worst Golden Chick Ive ever visited. Between the person taking my order constantly asking me if I dont want things that arent included with whats pictured on the menu, to the second person that told me one total, comes back with a new total after swiping my card quite a bit later, I dont think I will returning to this location until the manager actually starts managing this location. Its quite sad to be honest.

I stopped by the Golden Chick drive-thru four days ago around noon, looking forward to a quick and satisfying lunch. My experience, however, was a mixed bag. The Okra: The fried okra was a bit of a disappointment. It was a blend of old and fresh pieces, which affected the overall texture and taste. The inconsistency made it hard to enjoy, as the older pieces were noticeably tougher and less flavorful. The Fish: On the brighter side, the fish was a delight. Perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, it was cooked to perfection. The flavor was spot on, showcasing why Golden Chicks fish is a local favorite. Sauce Situation: However, the experience could have been elevated with the right dipping sauce. We were hoping for more of that delicious dipping sauce we received with the chicken on a previous visit. Its tangy, slightly spicy flavor pairs wonderfully with the fish, enhancing its unique taste. Instead, we received a handful of tartar sauce packets. While tartar sauce is a classic, it unfortunately overshadowed the distinct flavors that make Golden Chicks fish stand out. Overall Experience: Golden Chick has some standout items on their menu, but attention to detail can make all the difference. Ensuring the sides are fresh and providing the perfect sauces can turn a good meal into a great one. I ll certainly be back for the fish, but I ll be sure to request that special dipping sauce next time!

The general manager name Phiwa or however you spell it, of this location needs to find another job. How do you tell a customer to drive 15 back the location to replace the missing gravy that was supposed to be in my order and expect not to replace my meal... bc everyone in their right mind knows that my food is going to be cold after having to go retrieve my missing gravy that should have been in there in the first place. Then literally argued with me about how they didnt mess up my order. I shouldnt be having to drive back in the first place. Never coming to this location again and yall honestly need to hire another manager.. be then she told me if I dont like it I can call corporate. My husband and myself went yesterday to get a 3 piece fish plate, when we got home and opened the container we could not believe how small the fish pieces were, it looked like they had taken 1 fillet and cut it in three pieces. We will not ever go back, we can go any where for a much better fish dinner plate with full size fillets for the same money and get 2 sides instead of 1 for the same price.

I was surprised this store even had a 3.5 rating! Im going to be frank, I LOVE Golden Chick wick wings and tenders, but this store cant seem to follow orders or just dont care. They serve chicken pass it prime, that is if you get what you order! They routinely forget to include your rolls. Speaking with management will bring your blood to a boil! My impression is they dont give a S&!$. I have had to follow up with corporate to get refunds! I have order delivery both through their site and Door Dash and I have driven thru and done pick up. I ALWAYS check my order before leaving and 85% of the time something is wrong or missing. I will now be driving out of my way to a different location to get my fix and will no longer be ordering delivery.

my past 2 visits were not at all good. The employees (same employee both times) forgot my order and laughed when I went inside to ask them about it. Today we showed up with hours before closing and they told us they didnt have enough to give us extra rolls??? and just responded with yeh to everything instead of telling us a total or to pull to the next window. Not happy with the way the workers were acting, very unprofessional at this location. When we walked into the restaurant, the lobby was a mess. Several of the chairs were pushed all over the place and in the walk way. The manager on duty was making a personal call in the dinning area where we all could hear it. The lady getting our food was throwing it together and throwing things all over the place making a mess of our food. Then a worker came out and sat down to have a personal conversation with a friend and was shoving chairs across the room making so much noise. The manager looked at her and she yelled back, 5 min break. Several workers playing on their phone. After we ate I noticed one workers that was making the food had no gloves on and kept scratching the top of his head over and over. Very unprofessional. Only one boy was very nice and helpful to us and everyone.

The reason people order online is for speed and convenience. It becomes no longer speedy or convenient when you make online orders go pick up their food inside. Im disabled and have an incredibly hard and painful time getting in and out of my car. If I had known that they would refuse to hand me my already paid for food through window I would have ordered from somewhere else. I think this is a pretty horrible way to treat your customers in general ESPECIALLY a physically disabled customer. Shame on you guys!

Honestly, I have not had a single item of food from this restaurant. However, I pick up from here often with Uber Eats, and what I can tell you is this is one of the nicest restaurant staffs I have ever come across. They have welcomed me each and every time I pick up with the nicest smiles and a warm hello. One guy in particular (works the front and has a beard) has the nicest manners. This is the first time I have had someone mess up on the order and be extremely rude about it! Maaan Golden Chick use to be my go to place for tenders. I havent gone in a long time because of the experience I had last time and since its been so long I thought Id give it another shot. Boy I was even more disappointed this time around. I took one bite of my tender and it tasted funky. I then smelled it and the chicken is definitely bad. It had a nasty sour smell to it. This was our very first visit at this location. We purchased the family pack chicken tenders with macaroni and corn nuggets as our two sides.The corn nuggets were so delicious ! They were fresh, sweet and hot (temperature wise). The corn nuggets were just about all gone before we arrived home. We only had nine nuggets left upon arrival to our home. Not sure if i am spelling his name correctly, but Fermin was a pleasure to deal with. Kind, courteous, and not just to us. He was kind to every person who came in during our 45 minute stay. Never made a face or got upset when people came up to ask for anything repeatedly, or when people were rude. Kept his cool, and made sure everyone was taken care. 3 strikes and youre out! Today makes the 3rd time in a row that I have been to this location and had a problem. 1st of the 3rd visit was just bad customer service and getting an incorrect order and I had to go inside and correct it. 2nd time was poorly cooked food. Today...... everything was wrong. Chicken was old and hard. I also ordered 3pcs of fish and had to wait 10 minutes, which I was willing to do. The fish was so small. Its like they cut a fillet down the middle and charged for 2. So I basically had 1½ filets for the price of 3. I ordered 6 extra rolls and my meal came with 4. Out of 10 rolls, 8 of them were very hard on top and bottom. I also had a large dirty rice for one of the large sides. It was EXTRA dirty. It was just burnt and disgusting. Even had hard pieces in it. I basically paid $43 to come home and throw food away. I will not be going back to this location and dont recommend anyone else going to this location either. I wish I could only leave ½ of a star.

I m only sharing because I m in the food service Industry myself and I feel like you can t correct the issue if you don t know about it it s very ironic I just got out of a eight hour meeting with our home office team and the focus of our agenda today was driving the value the guest receives despite the incremental price increases we ve had to implement definitely don t believe we received any value in the form of the product or service. As we requested our food for Diane after patiently waiting for 15 minutes following up with the cashier to find out the order hadn t even been began. Oh the whole while we re waiting on our food the young lady (Maria) who took our order sat in the drive thru window on her phone. When we finally received the food it was boxed to-go and the three piece combo they didn t have the white meat so they took it upon themselves to substitute for another piece of dried dark meat chicken and still okra was stale we had to wait for that to be remade. Then they started sweeping around our table as we tried to salvage what was left of our meal. Most likely won t be back to this location but I love your product usually so I know this is a one off. As a General Manager I would definitely want to know what s happening in my absence. And I m assuming the Mod was the gentleman the blue shirt ? Not one time spoke to us or apologized for the several inconveniences.

Horrible experience and food portion small. They refry everything if it s been sitting out they would reheat it and not give hot fresh food. I went inside and ask for everything fresh catfish, corn nuggets and roll. They put my food back in the dang grease to recook and gave it to me. I ask them why does my food look old, they said because it just came out of the oil. I asked so many question and not 1 person could give a valid answers nothing but I don t know or that s what we were told to do.I ask for my money back and only was refund portion. I ask for the manager and no manager I ve been calling all day no answer.

UPDATE: It s been one week and Golden Chick never gave me a refund for the curbside pickup order I never received. I have disputed the charge through my bank. 5/10/22: Today, I had the worst experience I ve ever had with a restaurant. I placed an order online and received a confirmation for pickup at 5:05. I got to the curbside spot before 5:00, waited a couple minutes and then called to let them know I was there. It took awhile for someone to answer the phone. The woman who answered said she saw my curbside order and asked what time I d like to pick it up. I told her the confirmation said it would be ready at 5:05, and by that time it was 5:05. I waited 10 minutes with no food in sight. I had to then drag a toddler out the car because I decided to go inside to check on the order. ALL the doors were locked and there wasn t a human in sight. I began to wonder if foul play was going on. To avoid making this long story even longer, I ll just say I was charged more than $30 but never received my food. I d rate ZERO stars if could.

Horrible food. Not misinformed. Food not as in tv commercial. Fish was size of a nugget not a real size of a fish fillet. EVERYTHING OVERCOOK. Fried Okra was not edible. The only thing good was the dinner roll & macaroni & cheese. I couldnt believe I got such horrible food. Attendant was friendly. Im sure they are understaffed but I work hard for my money & have to be frugal, only to spend my money to get such poor quality & quantity of food ( cant even call it a meal)! Highly disappointed, the commercial looks great but food just didnt own up to it.

I had the pleasure of being assisted by one of your employees by the name of Nicholas at your Allen, TX location. He was absolutely amazing so much so that I had to make sure he was recognized. I was having issues in the drive-thru unlocking my card to pay for my order. There was a line behind me and Nicholas was so patient, never rushed me. I offered to pull around and come inside where he assisted me in connecting to the wifi which made it easier for me to get service and unlock my card. It was absolutely embarrassing and it took about 20 minutes and he never complained or showed any bad attitude. He was GREAT! People often don t leave good reviews any more you only hear from them when something is wrong. I want you to know that you have a valuable employee in Nicholas and I hope he receives the recognition he deserves!

Dont eat fried chicken too often so on a whim we got drive though for family. Fried and broiled chicken combo. The broiled chicken was way too salty and I love very salty stuff. I doubt my salty chicken is normal so willing to give them another try. Sides and breaded fried chicken were average, nothing to write home about. Pricing is fair. Customer service was a bit rude, but I never care about that. I only care on the taste and price. Like I said I will try them again in the future, at least better than KFC.

Overall a great experience. My order was slightly incorrect, but the staff are all extremely nice and passionate and corrected it very fast. It seems like when I went they were a bit short staffed but I dont mind the wait for good food. Super clean inside. I wish they were on Doordash though, because when I choose delivery it delivers from the Wylie store and ends up cold.
